Also, just in time. I was looking at respeccing my Spines/SR.

1. It's at least seven days notice. Earliest time they will give the respec is the sixth, the seventh would be a tuesday. So... possibility, sure.
2. They don't *tend* (in my memory) to give respecs the day of release, but slightly afterward, so people can see what's changed and what they might want to adjust.
Take from that what you will. It's all guesswork for us anyway.
instead of giving the respec the day of release why dont they just wait for like 3-5 after.Because in teh past they have given on the day and people scream we want another.
I'm glad we're getting a free respec, but it surprises me. I didn't think there were significant power changes that would lead folks to desire a respec.

Oh, nevermind I just answered my own question. Hmmm, not sure if I need to burn the ones I have already? To what end?
No they don't, hence the warning message. If you still have one, use it ASAP.
I'm not sure if I'll burn 'em just for the sake of burning 'em. I've got a ton of alts and I haven't played many of them enough to warrant even knowing how I would respec 'em.
I've got some mains who have burned through their respecs already and I welcome the new ones.

Well I'm not going to wait 3-5 days. We need 2 or none. Giving only 1 means we have to choose which of our TWO builds stays gimped. So either let us fix both builds or just don't take care of your player base. One respec is like french kissing your sister.

You know of course that your characters would just end up gimped again even if they gave you two freespecs. Better delete them now to avoid the continued gimpiness.
(I'll take the one freespec, thanks much. There's no real reason for them to give us one at all this issue.)

No, you can assume they'll issue the Freespec on (or after) 4/7.
I14 could go live tomorrow, and the freespec come a week afterwards.
unhh can we have a secondary and/or primary respec instead lol.

No, you can assume they'll issue the Freespec on (or after) 4/7.

Might want to try reading the announcement. The freespec will be given the day that Issue 14 launches. From the OP:

Frankly I am surprised people need 2 respec, not to mention just 1 though. Being a five year vet I have at least 5-6 respecs on every alt.
Also gimping your character twice must take real talent. (If you need one bad then do the respec mish, not like they are hard or anything.)

The pet recharge nerf is a pretty major change.

I have given up so many of these "free" respecs: I look at them like I would for offers to "improve my internet speed".
I like free-specs, I try and keep one on every character I have.
That one, and the 3 I earn and the vet rewards... I can be really weird in my builds.
Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

I LOL'd. Also, if one really needs a respec, there's always the $9.99 option

This notification is to give you at least 7 days notice that a respec is coming!
