Quote:Please stop doing this stupid Scooped stuff, makes you look bad. Besides you posted over two weeks ago and an was old trailer, unlikely a new one in this thread. Some people have a life and do not read the forums 24/7 so this is new to them.

Quote:The only sexist is you. So there is a comic depicting women and stars a mostly women cast and your response is that the book is inferior because the lack of males. How...male of you. You could not be more wrong about this book; though your wrong about majority of the comics you comment on. Which leads me to my next statement.I despise the writer of Batwoman and that series if it continues this same course needs to end. Some people might be confused why I called it disrespectful sexist trash, though... Well that's easy. The writer isn't treating women as equals, but rather treating them as inferior by removing all the males from the series or having them appear as little as possible, mixing that with the killing off of Renee Montoya, one of the strongest lesbians in Dc, along with demoting Capt Sawyer, another of them, and making out like Flamebird is an inexperienced weak little girl when she should be on equal ground as Nightwing in terms of experience and such. The whole thing reeks of insecure bad writing from a writer that doesn't know how to portray characters right nor treat the material with respect to the history of the characters.
By the way... I haven't read this month's Batwoman, but last month they pretty much killed Flamebird (with a small chance of survival) and had Sawyer act completely out of character.
As far as Teen Titans. Lobdell is hit or miss I find and the throwing new characters in was obviously a mandate rather than anything creative. Another thing to consider is that some books are only good if you look at them from a given perspective... which is what Lobdell's writing for Red Hood is... I hope that it a completely meta rip on the whole of the DCnU because it reads perfectly as that, but it could very well just be a horrible book too.
As far as Damian... I have read most of what he's in... I like him, but not with that writer and not with Bruce. Damian should be with Nightwing as everyone thought would happen because Damian is a bad fit with Bruce, but a great fit with Nightwing. That type of thing is really telling of DC in general that they don't understand how things work and why some things are better and others are worse.
As far as Nightwing... Don't read it >.> it's a series of arcs that are ok, but then the creative team changes or there is a mandate and everything is dropped or changed. Nightwing in general is one of the worst comics as a whole due to the entire enterprise that is DC, the writers, editors, and corporation. Basically, Dick is intertwined with Batman always and will never get away from his connection with Bruce no matter what happens because all the people at DC keep dragging them back together while all the other Batfamily are allowed to go off with their own things... Tim Drake was less effected by the events in Batman comics than Nightwing was while they both had titles and Nightwing was supposed to be living in another city and not working with Bruce at all.
Been reading your comments over the last few months and by the under tone you act like your word is gospel and your opinion is the one that matters and when people disagree you attack them, thinly veiled, but attack none less. I want to tell you something; your opinion does matter. Nope not one bit. Like my opinion does not matter either. Just to me. So do everyone a favor and write how you feel and stop attacking people. If someone disagree with you do not try to state why they are wrong but just shrug your shoulders and move on. -
The biggest reason I hate iTrials are:
They are endgame content and with level shifts and Incarnate powers your character is very powerful making normal content easier. But you MUST team with others, 7 to 23, in hopes of defeating and passing itrials, while you can die a certain amount of times, which to me is is not very powerful and I does not come off as "god-like". Just another average taskforce but only harder.
I just, for my characters, do not feel very super running iTrials. Hopefully that will change with i22 where I can solo or run with small teams doing Incarnate stuff. -
Quote:That was always expected... it's also expected that those numbers will quickly drop...
Also you have to take into account conservative print runs and comic shops. Comic shops are likely buying no more than double what they usually do while they have several times that coming in to pick up titles and thus why they are selling out.
As far as 2nd issue it's in the psyche of some new people to go get them and give them the benefit of the doubt. however that doesn't mean that in the long run they will sell better and might in fact sell worse considering they aren't creating habit for most of those new reader and the old reader are leaving.
Sorry but while I know you HATE the DCnU the majority of press I been reading has been positive. Just can you please stop your bashing of DC; remember this is your opinion and in reality does not matter, to me or anyone else. Just like my opinion does not matter to you or anyone else. -
Quote:Sam has been through a lot, much more then Dean's simple stay underground. So of course Sam will seem a bit...cold. Also I do not think Sam is quite Sam. We shall find out as the season goes on. Glad to see Cas back, and using air quotes...funny.Agreed. I think Sam is more entertaining when he's not Sam, like when he's possessed and acting like the entity that's possessing him, or he's enraged for whatever reason. Just not drunk, drunk Sam is sort of painful.
I do like season 6 Sam's "What?! Me? I'm not hiding anything! Why would do you think I'm a cold-hearted ******* now? Nooo, everything's fine!" >.> -
Quote:"*squints* I'm wiry"The villain for the 'Ultimate Spiderman back at high school' reboot is....
Surprising!, but he can do psychotic very well. I'd say that this comment;
means possibly a jekyll & hyde duality for the character, and seeing this is high school spidey i'm going with Marvel finally getting the Lizard out there.
"You big fatty" -
Well they did commit to doing 4 animations a year (one every quarter), seems now that schedule might be true.

Could you please combine threads about the same item together instead of spamming a new one every hour, or some cases every minute. Your pushing back other meaningful threads and cluttering the first page with your spam.
Thank you -
OP needs to get a life; by making these pointless threads he is missing on getting the code. Go outside.

Was not aware of the bug but got my character stuck Monday night; after couple minutes of trying to get loose I just log. Going for the day badge anyway.
-
Mine was Brute something (character is a Thug/TA MM) and when I finished taking down the glowies the clone took out Ajax two seconds after I got one shot in.

Quote:Electric-Knight said it ruins his/her concept.
And as some may or may not have caught my arguement within a few threads, concept=gimp.
They don't want a small buff because it ruins their concept.
Their concept is to be gimp.
That'll do 'er.
You made your self look moronic with that drivel you posted. Concept does not equal gimp. People make their characters they way they want and, this a shocker, will not always like everyone that is available. What is "gimp" are the annoying people that cast fortune during battle.
Just think before you post stupid comments please. -
I build and play the way I want too.
Besides with the second build you can have both; first build the way you truly envision your character and might be little less effective and second build with less RP designs for those teams and/or TFs. Win win. -
Congrats to you OP.
I have the same goal but will be awhile coming because I dislike red side and do not play villains much. Though that will change with Going Rouge and I can use the AT's on hero side.
Currently I have all hero AT's at level 50 except Warshade, just have hard time getting into the powersets. Only have two level 50 villains; brute (because wanted to try VEATs) and Dominator, just got the big ding over the weekend (my first villain, made the day CoV went live).
My main goals are getting level 50 in each Blaster and Scrapper primary powerset. Have ways to go though; two down for Blasters (Archery, Energy, and Rad Blast at level 45) and four done for Scrappers (Fire Melee, Dark Melee, Dual Blades, and Katana).
Tanks is a secondary goal as I have two level 50's; Inv and Ice Armor.
I just like playing new powersets and enjoying each new power; why I like to get to 50 and feel complete then I can try another set. Though have many many alts and with the problem of running out of slots on Virtue because two new sets coming. -
Quote:I will answer this easily; You TAKE the powers that YOU want when having FUN playing YOUR character. Others be damned. This is going to be a fairly simple question of opinion. Well... It COULD be simple, but I'm sure I'll find some way to complicate it.
To point: How do you feel about people who could have taken an ally resurrect power - as in, it was in their powerset - but chose not to? I realise the easy answer to that is "their build, their call," but can you be certain you will feel the same way when things go bad, you're lying there dead and the guy is shrugging his shoulders, going "Well, I didn't really build for team support?" Because that's what I'm looking at right now.
Let me explain.
I'm not a team player, and as such would not really have access to ally-only power, but I'm a fan of Masterminds nonetheless. Over the years, I've done what I can to avoid sets like Poison which had ally-only powers I couldn't use on my henchmen (WHY?!?), but with the advent of Demon Summoning in the very near future, I really HAVE to start thinking about using sets like these - namely Thermal, which even for Masterminds comes with an ally-only resurrect power.
Now, I don't WANT this power, because I don't intend to play on a team, and as such it will constitute an empty pick, something I'm not a big fan of. Considering I might end up with other things I want to take, it seems only fare to skip powers I don't feel I'll almost ever need. On the other hand, I worry that this will turn me into some kind of pariah in the eyes of my fellow heroes and villains, like the oft-discussed people who didn't take "key" powers from their sets.
Basically, unless I end up with a power pick and NOTHING to take, I don't want to take an ally-only resurrect power. Is that an acceptable move to make?
Really you need to pull back on the "I am bored so here is a useless thread" posting just a tad. Did not read majority of the post because the title and the first couple sentence already has you answering the question. -
Yes I also can not wait until the King Tut exhibit comes to Seattle next year......what? Oh you mean TUTORIAL? First people need to stop being lazy and actually use proper spelling.
While there should be little more info provided people are at fault not reading everything in the ....say it with me....tutorial. Really if you do not read all the instructions provided (just like something you buy that requires assembly) then the fault is yours. When you read everything and still have problems then more needs to be added. -
Quote:
Just for saying that is epic fail and gives you -2000 karma points. -
My response would be... "Who cares".
You people do really tend to over think stuff or have too much free time. Just leave the animation of the power, or even the whole set, as cool and be done with everything. In this day everything has pretty much been done, especially with all the different genres (TV, comic books, video games, movies, even novels) and as tech improves. Good bet that everything has been done before, nothing really original anymore. I know Vincent "stoled" the move from another source. -
Only semi projects I have are:
1) Getting one of every (hero) AT to 50: Just need WS to finish; though just do not really have fun playing the set.
2) Get every blast primary to 50: Done so far are; Energy, Archer. Level 43 on Rad (having a blast), level 41 on Fire (second account which is inactive so need to start over), Electric at level 35, and the others lower level.
Other than that i just play whatever for fun. -
Really? Enter DA go straight until you get to a building then go up....tada!! that is like a 10 minute hunt.
-
What i rather see is a Vet reward that lets you get to 20 because I really do not care for the lower levels. Especially since, if you need Stamina, there does 3 powers for Fitness pool.
After 5+ years running the content at lower levels get old and I done different directions on every new character. -
My Rad/Elec blaster has both AidSelf and Acrobatics. After running into mobs that deal a lot of KVB (Council) I respeced. Sure I need to use and extra power to get Aco but have SJ for movement and took Jump Kick since I do not have much in the way of melee attacks (heavy in my primary while only really have Elec Field and the end recover in my secondary).
Aidself is, like mentioned, good for between fights but have Interrupt slotted and use occasionally during battles; am a melee range type blaster. Am level 41 and have great fun when soloing; slider is only +1/x2 currently but will be upping to +1/x3 shortly. -
Quote:Why is it a head scratcher? Its simplier and less time consuming to get SO's and as I have stated before I play the game to have fun. Standing around and trying to by that one elusive piece (salvage or recipe) to get that +2% in nose picking is just not fun. I work in real life, I crunch numbers in real life, and I ourchase product for my job in real life. I can not smack around baddies in real life, hence I log into real life. Clear now?I don't think people really wonder why someone wouldn't want to spend billions purpling out their slots. It's the people who won't even use Common IOs over SOs which cause the head-scratchers. Judging from this thread, folks all have their own justification for it and that's cool but purples don't factor heavily into most people's builds, period.
Head scratcher to me is those people PLing their characters to 50 then purple out every power and then whine becuase the game is boring and easy. But you play the way you want and I play the way you want.
Those threads that state "Why do people not do X becuase they are not playing right" is just plain moronic and pointless. Everyone is different and has their own playstyle; just remember that. -
Quote:"In a few hours I got to level 30." This the part that makes me laugh and scratch my head in wonder? When I logged when double xp weekend started. I saw many people with dual pistols. Many I asked said they didn't like them too much. Some said they animation was overkill. And some others just said it was ok but just ok. I was curious and so I made a traps/dual pistol defender. It was the best fun since my fire/device blaster. I really like the DP powers and the animation. I rarely miss and I do have nice damage. At least my defender can solo missions instead of relying on others to help. I'm not sure I would like a DP blaster. My defender feels more like a blaster then a defender that is for sure. I would recommend the build to anyone.
How can really enjoy a powerset if you been PLed 30 levels? One: you have not had time to enjoy each and every new power. Its like getting a job and after six months you are given full retire benefits that are 35 years worth.....which of course you would love.
I and my partner hardly played our DP's over the weekend. when we did we duoed in the Hollows and had a great time. Took down Frostfire with no problem (DP blaster and DP Kin defender), though dinging during the fight help.
But hey whatever floats your boat.
