Compiled List of Binds
Remove the slash in front of the "e".
Finally that one worked; thanks a lot
I would like to make it clear that even though I made up this list, I am not great with binds =P
How do you rotate trys with binds? Is there a way to rotate more than just the bottom try?

the global channel bind I push:
/bind <key> beginchat /send "<channel>"<space>
Replace <key> with a key of choice, <channel> with the channel of choice ("-ed for those evil people that put spaces in channel names), and <space> with a space.

Trying to get this one to work, but having issues. First, it tells me that /send is an unknown command. I tried altering it but I then get that i am not a member when I use - instead of space in the channel name

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I was on vacation over the past week. Here is what I use for the channel LBx, maybe this will help you:
/bind t beginchat /send "LBx" [$name - $level $archetype]
Replace what you have/want to for customization (channel name, key used, $name $level $archetype info) Let me know if you have any more problems.

I believe the quotation marks are in the wrong place.
It should be:
/bind <key> "/send <channel name> [Name $level Server] "
Note that there is a space before the last quotation mark.

I use the way I posted right above your post all the time, and it works perfectly.
Before the release of issue 12, I thought I'd run a Mastermind in CoV on the test server to get the hang of running a MM. Well, I knew beforehand I'd need some good keybinds to run a good MM. One keybind I REALLY want to use, however, doesn't seem to work for me...either that or I don't know the actual name of the power. Here's what I put in:
/bind <key> "local Accessing droid mainframe$$powerexec_name Battle Drones"
Of course, it doesn't work. It's either I have the power name incorrect (Battle, Robots, and Drones doesn't work either) or it's just not supported or something. I dunno. I just want my MM toon to say something before summoning the drones! Oh yeah, I also know to use a key combo like <key+lbutton> while using this power.

it's powexecname, not powerexecname
So it should be:
/bind <key> "l Accessing droid mainframe$$powexec_name Battle Drones"
The underscores are optional. I always use 'l' but I guess 'local' works too.
For no targeting reticle:
/bind lshift+lbutton "l Accessing droid mainframe$$powexec_name Battle Drones"

Well anyhow I use for one of my channels:
/bind numpad8 beginchat /send "VirtueUnited" [$name $level $archetype]:
or
/bind numpad8 beginchat /send "VirtueUnited"
(always with a space at the end)

Which is exactly what I use but with a different target key and channel name =)

I know, I just posted this because Solarsentai's bind seemed weird to me.

Not too great - everytime I click my left mouse button - guess what. I say my little quote every single time. Guess this one is outta the question right now.
Thank you very much for pointing out my error - I never woulda guessed at that one, and never thought to recheck the beginning of this thread - plus, it doesn't help when you mis-read something!

That's weird. did you mess with the lbutton bind before? Might try /unbind lbutton to 'free it up'. I know once I messed up my teleport bind because I typed like 'bind lshft+lbutton powexecname Teleport" (notice, I mispelled shift) so I'd teleport with any single click.
BTW I just tested this bind on my Zombies MM. All I did was copy the one I posted:
/bind lshift+lbutton "l Accessing droid mainframe$$powexec_name Zombie Horde"
And I even set up another for the second pet:
/bind lcontrol+lbutton "l Accessing droid mainframe$$powexec_name Grave Knight"
I could summon them and say 'accessing droid mainframe' (not to fitting but hey it's a test) when clicking control+click or shift+click and when I clicked my left button alone nothing happened, my MM wouldn't say anything. Maybe /unbind lbutton will solve it.
Yeah, I binded the lbutton like this: /bind lalt+lbutton "petcom_all goto" - this way, I can send all my minions into a hotspot and let them take the heat while I stay clear of most of the danger/damage.
Kinda more important to have that bind and just have a regular bind to my summons with my little phrases in it. I'm sure if I unbound everything and used the above bind, it would be alright. However, there is a conflict when the lbutton is already bound.
Again, a million thanks. I got it figured out (kinda sorta now) - just need to make a "pet skit" scene now!
Hi guys,
Can you give us some help with a bind?
I want to change costume then activate a power and say somehting on local
Example
Press "f" which makes my character change into costume slot 2 which has a fire aura on it, I take off in flight and say "Flame on!"
That's not what I want to do exactly but it gives you an idea of what I'm aiming to do. I just want to be wearing the same costume each time I fly with the F key. This should be doable but I don't know the change costume commands.
Cheers for any advice you can give.
/bind f "???????$$local Flame On!$$powexec_name flight"
I think it's only the ???????? bit I need to learn.
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it infamy!!!
Yeah right after that you get smacked with a lawsuit :P
the change costume commands are cc1 cc2 cc3 cc4
so you'd add $$cc1 (or whatever number) in there
Something like: /bind f "cc1$$local Flame On!$$powexec_name flight".
Hope that helps, been a while since I did costume binds, my kheld had three, one that activated her first shield and said "galactic corps armor on" , switched costume, second said "powering down" and switched to civive clothes while deactivating shield, and third just told people to kiss her boots and activated scary glowing eyes
Do not forget cc0 for the first costume slot.

Looking for some help with a bind and can't seem to find it.
Is there a way to bind SJ and CJ to the same button and when you click it, one will toggle off and the other on and vice versa? I seem to remember someone saying you could do this but can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks for the help!

/bind KEY "powexec_name Combat Jumping$$powexec_name Super Jump"
for a special added treat, try
/bind KEY "++autorun$$++up$$powexec_name Combat Jumping$$powexec_name Super Jump"
and see how you like that...
I've found a few Empathy keybinds I like, they help for "fast based action" (lawl, pvp). A couple of parts are probably unnecessary, but I just copied them in a txt file.

Is it possible to make a Bind or Macro for Mastermind Pets to attack a target I'm not targeted to, like for example, Voids? Where I could spam that button and the pet(s) would attack that enemy? Or would you have to be targeting vs the enemy first and use the Attack command?
I figured out a good system for my blaster. He has Super Speed, Hover, and makes frequent use of Sprint. Each ability is a toggle that turns off the others, except that the hover button also makes you jump which is nice.
One thing about the hover button, like all hover+jump buttons you have to hold it down for a second. It's self correcting, though, so no 'reload' binding required.

Sorry tried this; this doesn't work! only get "unknown command /e"
thanks for help anyway
