NUMPAD6 "+ $$teamselect 6$$powexec_name Heal Other"
NUMPAD7 "+ $$teamselect 7$$powexec_name Heal Other"
NUMPAD8 "+ $$teamselect 8$$powexec_name Heal Other"
* /bind g "powexec_abort$$unselect$$powexec_slot 1" Makes you draw your weapon without attacking as long as the slot indicated (1 in this example) is a power that will cause you to draw you weapon (EX. Sting of the Wasp to draw Katana). Powexec_slot 1 can also be replaced with powexec_name <powername>
* To jump then turn on hover:
/bind y "+up$$powexec_name Hover$$powexec_name Hover"
* Special teleport bind from Grotus:
/bind lshift+lbutton "powexec_name Teleport"
Teleports without the targeting cursor (actually it still does the targeting cursor, it just does the click to accept that location at the same time).
* TheUnnamedOne says:
/bind f "powexec_name Sprint$$powexec_name Fly$$powexec_name Hover"
What it does is turn off your Sprint whenever you hit it (to save Endurance while Flying/Hovering) and then toggles between Fly and Hover. If both are off, Hover will come on first. This is REALLY handy in a fight if you are Hovering and need to gain some distance. One key will switch you to Fly to gain distance and then the same key will switch you back to Hover. I made this next one to go along with the previous one:
/bind lshift+f "powexec_name Fly$$powexec_name Hover$$powexec_name Sprint"
Since the first one ("F") ALWAYS turns off Sprint, the second one ("lshift+F") will always activate it if you use these together. When I'm done with a fight where I was hovering/flying I'll just hit LShift+F to land and start Sprinting again.
Activating Powers by Slot
* /bind <key> powexec_slot <number of slot for wanted power on tray> Execute the power indicated by the number on the bottom row of the power tray. Examples from Grotus/Arzen535/Storyteller:

f8 "powexec_slot 8"
f9 "powexec_slot 9"
f10 "powexec_slot 10"
* /bind <key> powexec_altslot <desired slot> Executes the power in the alternate slot indicated. Alternate slot indicates the row on your power tray NOT on the bottom. Examples from Grotus:

Combining Emotes/Phrases with Powers
* /bind <key> emote <emote name/phrase>$$powexec_name <power name> Do the indicated emotion or phrase and execute the power. Examples from Skindancer/Odacer/Kungfoo/RedwoodTheElf/Anonymous/Valerian/Enantiodromos/Celestial_Lad/Cuppa_Lux:

/bind <key> "emote Justice is swift$$powexec_name Smite"
/bind <key> "emote Sweet sweet Justice$$powexec_name Shadow Punch"
(Side note: I believe if you put the word emote then a phrase, it will say the phrase. It was said in an old post, so it may have changed. Confirmation or correction needed)

* Checky says:
Hey, if you are an Inv/??? tanker, here is a rather sweet bind.
/bind <key> "Local ADRENALINE RUSH!!!$$ Powexec_Name Dull Pain$$ CC <explained at bottom>$$ E Frustrated"
Basically, I have this bind on my tanker, so when I used Dull Pain, I change into a costume which is the exact same as my main costume, but bigger. I also do the frustrated e-mote, which is about a close to getting mad as I could see. Try it out, it also replaces the animation for Dull Pain with you e-mote. Rather cool to do.
* Quoted from an Anonymous forum member:
Here is what I use for hover, up will always turn hover on no matter what state it starts in and dwn will turn it off no matter what state it was in. This is good for when you get knocked out of the sky.
/macro up "powexec_name Hover$$powexec_name Hover"
* StarDefender says:
Here are some simple macros that I use:
/macro AFK "powexec_name Superior Invisibility$$afk BRB. I'm checking the Stock Page.$$emote newspaper"
/macro REST "powexec_name Rest$$team Hang on guys. I've gotta tie my shoe!"
MY NEW FAVORITE:
/macro KS "/demorecord KSER$$tell $target, You are being recorded. Please don't KS me. These mobs are taken."
I was using that one to good effect yesterday in Steel Canyon.
Oh, here's the one all Teleporters should have:
/bind numpad1 "team $target, are you ready to be Teleported?"
/bind numpad0 "powexec_name Recall Friend$$team Teleporting $target in 5 seconds. Please standby."
* /bind <key> +down$$powexec_name <Name of toggle power> Makes it so that the toggle power indicated is only on while the power is active. Submitted by Goryus_ca
* /bind <key> follow$$powexec_name <powername> This is a useful bind that will make you follow your target and use the indicated attack. Very useful for melee characters. Exmaple of a macro form by Stomp:
/macro fHak "follow$$powexec_name Hack"

Miscellaneous
Unbind
* To unbind a key: /bind <key> nop
Costume
* Submitted by CyberKnight7:
I use (from memory):
/bind decimal "cc 1$$say Activating Ninja Emulation $origin$$sgmode$$powexec_name Cloaking Device"
This switches CK7 from normal (shiny silver) armor into his "stealth" armor (black with gold accents), babbles a bit, then changes to SG colors (all black), then activates Cloaking (so he vanishes).
It all goes by very fast (thus the $origin, I was trying to slow things down), but I like it!
Targeting
* /bind <key> target_enemy_near Target the nearest enemy
* /bind <key> target_enemy_near$$follow Targets the nearest enemy and follows it. Great for melee plays. An example from wildcat140679 that also changes camera view for easier sight:
/bind E "target_enemy_near$$follow$$camreset$$camdist 20"
* /bind <key> target_enemy_prev Target the last enemy you targeted
* /bind <key> target_enemy_next Target the next enemy in a group (similar to the default tab command)
Interaction
* /bind <key> follow Follow your target
* /bind <key> team_select <player # on team list>$$follow Follow a certain person on the team window list. Useful for going to people. Example from Grotus:
* /bind lshift+f "team_select 1$$follow"
Mechanics
* /bind <key> camreset Resets the camera to default view (distance/zoom)
* /bind <key> +<direction> Moves you in the direction indicated. Examples by Grotus/Storyteller:
/bind up "+forward"
/bind down "+backward"
/bind left "+left"
/bind right "+right"
Alternatively for left/right:
/bind left "+turnleft"
/bind right "+turnright"
numpad2 "+backward$$++autorun"
numpad4 "+turnleft"
numpad5 "+backward"
numpad6 "+turnright"
numpad7 "+left"
numpad8 "+forward"
numpad9 "+right"
multiply "follow"
* To Autorun: /bind <key> "++autorun"
* To open window to manage enhancements: /bind <key> manage
Example: /bind control+e "manage"
* To change the button for the Map: /bind <key> map Submitted by keegan

I like to click the left mouse button off of targets to de-select them instead of using the Esc key, here's a bind for that:
/bind LBUTTON "unselect$$select"
If you click on a target it selects it. If you click in open space, it de-selects any previously selected target.

##### movement #####
lbutton "-mouse_look"
rbutton "+forward$$+mouse_look"
-----
this puts the mouse in mouse look mode when rbutton is clicked, and it will remain that way until mouse look is released with lbutton
-----
lcontrol+rbutton "nop"
-----
I used the Logitech mouse software to remap button 4 as my lcontrol key. by specifically assigning a null command to this combination, I can access the pop-up list without locking myself in mouse look mode
-----
home "+up"
-----
I used the Logitech mouse software to remap button 5 as my home key
-----
pageup "-mouse_look"
-----
I used the Logitech mouse software to remap the button sitting on top of my scroll button as the page up key. lbutton is the most convenient way to release mouse_look, but sometimes if I accidentally enter mouse look mode while a dialog box is up (for example, if the support window is open) lbutton won't work. This is my safety backup, as it were.
-----
pagedown "+backward$$+mouse_look"
-----
I used the Logitech mouse software to remap the button sitting under my scroll button as the page down key. this allows me to move Regiment backwards in mouse look mode, just as the rbutton binding allows me to move forward.
-----
##### targeting #####
space "target_enemy_near"
-----
allows me to target the closest enemy. Simple but oh so very useful
-----
tab "target_enemy_next"
-----
this is the default binding, but it's relevant because of the next entry
-----
lcontrol+tab "target_friend_next"
-----
this mouse/tab combination allows me to easily cycle through targeting heroes, so I can see who they are without having to click on them all the time
-----
##### speech #####
l "chat_set l"
g "chat_set g"
-----
these binds let me quickly switch between the local and group channels without having to click those tiny !@#$% buttons with my mouse. Saves a lot of time...

You can always bind these to a key. Like to try them out first.
/macro near "unselect$$toggle_enemy$$follow$$powexec_slot 1"
This is good for hand to hand when your getting mobed. It targets nearest bad guy, follows him, and smack him when you catch him.
/macro near "toggle_enemy_near$$follow$$powexec_slot 1"
This does the same as the first one
/macro follow "follow$$powexec_slot 4"
follows him, and smack him when you catch him. This is good to use when you have toggled your enemy to find a boss. Hit this one. The "powexec_slot 4" can be replaced with any slot number or the power name "powexec_name Brawl"
/bind l "chat_set l"
set your chat to local
/bind g "chat_set g"
set your chat to group
/bind ENTER "beginchat <bgcolor #ffcc33><color #000033><border #cc6600>"
set it so everytime you hit enter your chat bubble will be colored
/bindlist
will give you and list of all your binded keys

Bump. Remember you can post comments now =P
Good job on the posts Camo, a few of them were actually usefull to me!
Woot, this thread made sticky! *does the happy dance*
I just wanted to say thanks for all the useful information. I have some bind, but I usually don't remember how I did them. Now I have a guide.
Make a man a fire and keep him warm for the day, SET a man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life.

Thanks Kinrad. Congradulations on being my first real reply. It only took almost 2000 views =P

I agree, binds can be pretty fun to use. It's awesome how you can do so many things by pressing 1 button.
A helpful bind when you are looking for team mates at your level
/bind <key> search +$level-$level +all
Shows all the people your level online.

Tried this one, doesn't work, I get "Unknown command bindlist"
I was hoping this would work since I used the SoD bind creator and I want to get rid of them but can't figure out how.
Any suggestions?
Sorry about that. You can probably tell I wasn't able to test this large list =P I can't get on right now, but you should probably try variations of /bindlist and see if they work. Try /bind /binds /bindslist or something else similar.
Great work on the compilation and thank you for doing it.
Not sure if I just didn't see it on the long list but does anyone know how to make a bind to cycle target through None NPCs (for PvP) and or to target certain critters such as to target only NPCs or toons with the word underboss and such?
Any help would be apreciated.

Try this resource
Good thing I looked here...I forgot to edit the first post =P Unfortunately I can't now, but just to let you all know, the note about construction should have been taken away a LONG time ago, and I have a way for windows users to better search the thread.
If you are on a windows computer, hold down the ctrl key and hit f. Type into this box a word or phrase you want to find on the bind list (for example, targeting) and hit Find Next or Enter. It will browse through the thread and show you each time it says that word or phrase in the thread each time you hit Find.
Does anyone know how to bind the e flyposes so that I don't have to type them everytime I fly
Thanks a lot
/bind f "/e flypose1"
Try something like that. Activate fly, then hit f (or whatever key you use). I believe you can't do fly and the emote in the same- they activate at the same time I think, so the flypose won't work.
This thread can be viewed easier by Windows users by using the Find Next control. To do this, hold down the ctrl key and hit f. In the box that comes up, type the word or phrase that you are looking for (for example: target). This will look through the page you are on and bring you to the first time it says this word or phrase on the page. Continue clicking the Find Next button and it will keep going to the next time this word or phrase is said.
Welcome to the Compiled List of Binds!
These binds are compiled from an old thread that was recently bumped up titled Post your /binds here originally created by Grotus. It was started back in 2004 and was 112 pages when this thread was first posted.
I have compiled the useful binds into 4 lists- Miscellaneous, Powers, Inspirations, and Chat. It was a bit hard organizing them, so the following system was done for each section:
At the top of each post, the section name is indicated in Red
Each sub-section is indicated in Yellow
The binds are in a list with examples following them. Example:
* /bind <key>powexec_toggleon <power name> Turns on a toggle power. Example from StaticDrifter:
/bind g "powexec_toggleon targeting drone$$powexec_toggleon cloaking device"
Notice the green * at the beginning. It means that it is the next bind in the list. This was done to avoid confusion. Each bind in the list has a star of different colors: Blue, Orange, Purple, Brown, Green, and Pink. If you see one of the stars in front of it, it means it is a new bind, not a note about the one above it.
Any useful binds posted in this thread by others that are NOT similar to the ones already posted in my master list will be added when I get the chance.
Table of Contents:
Section 1: Intro/Table of Contents
Section 2: Power Binds
Section 3: Inspiration Binds
Section 4: Chat Binds
Section 5: Miscellaneous Binds/Other
Each section will consist of 2-3 posts.
