Compiled List of Binds
Well for LR couldn't you use a simular bind as for teleport?
/bind SHIFT+LBUTTON "powexec_name Lightning Rod"
Would that work? For teleport it automaticly casts the power where your cursor is
Also, the chat binds dont seem to be working for me; example:
/bind tilde "local <color red><bgcolor #000000>WARNING: $target spotted!$$em whistle"
Puts this into chat: <color red><bgcolor #000000>WARNING: $target spotted!
But using <color red> etc. manually in chat seems to work that way. Wtf am I doing wrong?

The teleport bind does work for LR -- quite nicely.
As for the chat bind, you can't enter binds containing $$ in-game; the parser chops the line up and executes the last command before it realizes that you're trying to enter a bind. Binds with $$ must be manually entered in your keybinds file. (Or at least, that's been my experience.)

[/ QUOTE ]This is wrong. Enclose your binds in quotes, and you can use as many double-dollars as you like. If you do not enclose in quotes, then the game reads it as "bind up to the first double-dollar, then execute (not bind) everything after it".

Works the same way as executing any power as far as I know. do the normal powexec_name Lightning Rod
Clicking that bind will make the circle thing that you use to pick the location appear without having to click the power tray.
[/ QUOTE ]
Right, but then I still have to click with the mouse to execute the power. Guess what I mean is, can I select and execute the power without having to touch the mouse? (i.e. without having to bind LBUTTON)
I'd like to just press B for example and have the attack go off wherever my cursor happens to be on the screen.
I looked at the first few posts..and im sure this info was on the "original" bind list..but where do i put this info? I went to my COH folder and dont really see a spot for it.
Do i need to make a binds folder or something?
BlueAdept, you can just put the bind files in your main CoX folder.
If you would rather create a separate binds folder (which I would recommend), you will have to alter the binds to reflect the new file locations.
e.g. the last line of ground.txt should read instead:
space "+up$$bindloadfile .\binds\air.txt"
".\" refers to the base game folder, by the way.
Captain Croatia, I don't think what you want done is actually possible, unfortunately.
Looking for a bind for my dom.... I saw a dude that had a costume change that actived when he actived dom and went back to normal when dom was gone. Can you please tell me these binds if you know them. Thank you for your time.
I've tried to bind this myself, but either get "unknown command" errors, or it puts it into chat, so could somebody please make me a bind that:
1. Is bound to the delete key
2. makes my toon say something along the lines of, "if I go down, I'm taking you with me!".
3. activates the "self destruction" power from the cyborg pack.
thanks!
Do you mean the delete key by the insert key, or the backspace key by the equals sign?
/bind delete "/local If I go down, I'm taking you with me!$$powexecname Self Destruction"
for the delete key by the insert key
/bind backspace "/local If I go down, I'm taking you with me!$$powexecname Self Destruction"
for the backspace key by the equals sign

[/ QUOTE ]You need two binds:
/bind KEY1 "powexecname Domination$$cc #"
to activate Domination and switch to your domcostume
(where # is the costume slot, starting at zero...slot1=0, slot2=1, etc)
/bind KEY2 "cc #"
to change back to normal
(where # is the other costume slot you want)

thanks alot! and yeah, I ment the Delete key by Insert.
thanks again! *runs off to try it out*
Edit: I just tried it in-game, and the game returned an "unknown command /local If I go down I'm taking you with me!" message, however SD did go off
Edit #2: I changed "/local" to "say" and it worked perfectly!

That's because "/local" should have been "local".
Is it possible to bind the following powers together in ONE keybind?
"Teleport", "Wormhole/Teleport Foe", "Recall Friend".
The way i understand them, individually each won't work unless you have the correct target selected.
EXAMPLE:
LCONTROL+LBUTTON "camdist 115 $$ powexec_toggle_on Teleport $$ powexec_toggle_on [Wormhole/Teleport Foe] $$ powexec_toggle_on Recall Friend"
Does anyone have a teleport bind that'll make the marker appear as well as turn off most of the UI when I hold shift and teleport me once I left click, and also suppress the teleport sound effect?
I'd found a similar bind before, but it also caused the screen to zoom way out and might've been posted a little wrong.
I know it's shiny and new, but anyone know of a bind or macro that will do the costume change with the new "change power animation" without having to open the costume window each time... ? (I wish that window would at least be re-sizeable). I've tried with what I know of binds and macros and it ain't happening. And, yes I have the booster pack .
Thanks.

Ok, I seem to be missing something.
I've got :
/bind numpad 7 "CC_e 2 Presto Chango" and I'm gettting an unknown command CC_e.
I've also tried /macro 3 "CC_e 2 Presto Chango" and it just emotes the text.
Sorry if I've missed the obvious.
Thanks.

Sort of obvious, but only because names of things in the game don't have spaces in them.. the NAME of the emote isn't in what's the pull down menu.. BAB's Post on the subject

maybe it's listed here and maybe it's not, but....can you make a macro and bind it to key, ie w to activate say hasten, so that whenever you run forward you activate that power?

Couple of things that were wrong, there, mostly spaces and emote names.

Would be simpler to just bind the power directly rather than a macro for the power. And there is a command syntax to toggle a power to when a key is pressed, and toggle it off when it's released. Can't remember what it is, exactly, at the moment, but I'm sure someone else knows.

Cool a bind thread. THX!!
I will be referencing to this much
Has anyone applied any of the emotes to a MM yet? I'm so rusty with MM emotes that I can't even remember how.

Seems im a either a noobler or just too lazy to read all of this and try to understand it all. But if anyone is willing to give me a bind that makes me ...
Use superspeed when i move (automatically turns on when i run) If i jump it turns off superspeed and turns on fly, and if i jump again it turns off fly. (and again turns on superspeed if i am moving.
If this person is on virtue im also willing to pay 5 million influence for this.
First person willing and able to do this please contact me. If there are any questions please message me as well.

No fee needed. You can try the following. I'm at work now and can't test them, so post back here if they fail.
/bind w "+forward$$powexecname Super Speed"
/bind s "+backward$$powexecname Super Speed"
/bind a "+left$$powexecname Super Speed"
/bind d "+right$$powexecname Super Speed"
/bind space "+up$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed$$powexecname Fly"
Note that these aren't foolproof, by the way, and the movement toggles will tend to get inverted from time to time due to input lag or whatever.
Also, with the setup you have requested, you can no longer use the spacebar to move vertically in flight, which is not a good idea in my opinion. Still, if this is really what you want...
Next, I've here some more rigorous alternatives to these binds. These use bind files.
ground.txt:
w "+forward$$powexectoggleon Super Speed$$powexectoggleoff Fly"
s "+backward$$powexectoggleon Super Speed$$powexectoggleoff Fly"
a "+left$$powexectoggleon Super Speed$$powexectoggleoff Fly"
d "+right$$powexectoggleon Super Speed$$powexectoggleoff Fly"
space "+up$$bindloadfile .\air.txt"
air.txt:
w "+forward$$powexectoggleon Fly$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed"
s "+backward$$powexectoggleon Fly$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed"
a "+left$$powexectoggleon Fly$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed"
d "+right$$powexectoggleon Fly$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed"
space "powexectoggleoff Fly$$bindloadfile .\ground.txt"
These binds, if I have written them correctly, will always (well, almost always) work. Whenever you hit a movement key while not in flight, Super Speed will toggle on and Fly will toggle off. And hitting space will always put you into Fly mode.
While in Fly mode, using either a movement key or the space bar will toggle on Fly and toggle off SS. Hitting space will cancel fly and put you back in ground mode.
What you need to do is to load the ground.txt file once (using /bindloadfile .\ground.txt) and everything should be good to go from then on.
If you want, you can also add {$$powexectoggleoff Super Speed} to all your power buttons (1 to 0, shift 1 to 0, etc.), making SS turn off whenever you start attacking, thereby conserving End.
Edited for clarity.
