Compiled List of Binds

The minor rub is that I have 2 macros clogging up my tray.
[/ QUOTE ]
Don't forget that after i12, you can make power trays separate from the one automatically given. Just press the "+" button on your power bar. You can move it around to where you like it, and you don't have to worry about clogging your bar.

That's true, but that wouldn't have the convenience of using a single key to turn it on or off. I see that I didn't state my case clearly earlier. I'm lazy; I don't want to have to either click on a given macro or press a combination of keys to use it, even when this would be a situation where I'm not pressed for time (i.e., not in the middle of combat).
Thanks for your reply, though!
Well, I guess the next best thing would be a bind with keys that aren't binded or are binded but not used, such as Q, X, Z, etc.
Well, you can work hard now and be lazy later, or work a little all the time ...
My solution would be to create keybind files, like so (assumes you are saving bind files in your <installdir>/data folder):
sj.txt ---
J "powexec_toggleon Super Jump$$autorun 1$$++up$$bindloadfile nsj.txt"
---------
nsj.txt ---
J "powexec_toggleoff Super Jump$$autorun 0$$-+up$$bindloadfile sj.txt"
---------
One caveat to using bind files like these is that they don't play nice with mezzes. But YMMV.

I'm having trouble with this, it selects the teammate, but doesn't use the power.
I'm a noob at binding, so help would be great
Edit: nvm, I'm dumb. I had put powerexec instead of powexec

That's the tough part of binds and macros...one little mistake and it throws the whole thing off.
Hello I have been trying to make a Bind that will deactivate my nova/Dwarf and then activate my shields I have currently got to
/bind b "powexec_toggleoff Black Nova$$powexec_toggleon Gravity shield$$powerexec_toggleon penumbral shield"
however it turns of nova but only turns on the last shield and not the one in the middle any help will be appreciated
I find it quite ironic that these two posts are next to each other:

And as for multiple shields and toggling off Nova, I've done that for years and adapted it to other Shield based sets.

Only difference between yours and mine is Capitalization.... I was under the impression power names weren't case sensitive.
EDIT: Also, pressing the key once won't turn all of them on. You have to hit the key several times, waiting for the power to queue/activate before pressing it again.
Yup. That feature I believe was designed to prevent botting.

thank you for the help I will keep modifying that for others
ok i am using the following macro and for it to get all the powers on i have to hit it four times is there a way to have it turn them all on with one push of the button?
/macro Buffs powexectoggleon Tactical Training: Maneuvers$$powexectoggleon Tactical Training: Assualt$$powexectoggleon Tactical Training: Leadership$$powexectoggleon Cloaking Device
ok after seeing the thrid post up one more time i now understand it wont turn them all on at once but is there a way to turn them all on at once?

Hey, if you are an Inv/??? tanker, here is a rather sweet bind.
/bind <key> "Local ADRENALINE RUSH!!!$$ Powexec_Name Dull Pain$$ CC <explained at bottom>$$ E Frustrated"
Basically, I have this bind on my tanker, so when I used Dull Pain, I change into a costume which is the exact same as my main costume, but bigger. I also do the frustrated e-mote, which is about a close to getting mad as I could see. Try it out, it also replaces the animation for Dull Pain with you e-mote. Rather cool to do.
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't work at all. Copy-pasting it to a T didn't replace the animation. I've also been having a similar problem with World of Confusion and em evillaugh. I've tried numerous ways to do it and have succeeded on some occaisions but I can never manage to do it twice in a row. Anyone know how to consistantly overwrite static animations with emotes like that?
EDIT: Actually one thing I did differently, I used it as a macro instead of a bind. Would that make any difference?
I'm not 100% sure about how to fix that, but remember that a lot of these binds are a little old...things may have been changed.

Hmmm. So no one else has any theories or information?
I actually read through pages and pages of this stuff and im more confused then when I started .I dont want to do brain surgery or solve global warmin with key binds .ALL I want is a simple bind for a War Shade to press 1 key and have the toon got to nova with a specific tray selected that I can put the powers into for that form .the same for dwarf .the only other one I could see needing would be an oh crap heal heal heal macro that will hit all heals ..Please keep abuse to a minimum .I know this info exists here some where im just to swamped to find it .Thank you in advance

Yah, it's out there. The Kheldian AT guides are the best place to find this stuff. Some of it gets complicated, but the most basic I feel is taken from Justaris' guide.

A quick note on binds: If youre going to switch between the forms in battle, youre not going to want to go hunting for your powers. I recommend you place all your Dark Nova powers in tray 3, your Black Dwarf powers in tray 4, and use trays 1 and 2 for your human powers. You can then use binds to shift your form and your active power trays at the same time. Example:
/bind NUMPAD2 powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 3
/bind NUMPAD3 powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 4
/bind NUMPAD1 powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$powexec_name Gravity Shield$$goto_tray 1

Could someone put binds up for selecting team member? The ones on the thread do not work for me. Thank you.

Had similar issues as both a /bind and a /macro when trying to create one to activate FoN, use a different emote (I *hate* the ridiculous "tarzan" chest-beating nonsense - I think I tried using "alakazam" and "point", among others) and saying something in local. It actually WORKED, like... twice, and then just... stopped. After that, it would usually just activate the power, but would sometimes run one of the other elements.
I don't have the syntax handy, gave up and deleted it some time ago, but it was just weird, the way it "worked".
Where to find me after the end:

LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas
Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.
Is the a command to adjust the game volume?
I am curious if anyone has found a way to make a bind or macro that will start you running then start you flying or even start you flying and then switch flyposes

to start running then fly:
/bind key "++autorun$$powexec_name fly"
as for switching fly poses, you might just bind another key to hit after you start the run/fly animation:
/bind key "e flypose#"
don't quote me on this, but you might be able to combine all 3:
/bind key "++autorun$$powexec_name fly$$e flypose#"
so if the last one doesn't work, then just stick with the first two binds

This is one of my favorites foe when you level up.
As a macro:
/macro DING "say Bom DINGa wow wow!!$$ emote Victory"
As a bind:
/bind F8 "say Bom DINGa wow wow!!$$emote Victory"
(substitue and key you want for F8, of course.)
Many things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.
For my characters that have Super Jump, I really dislike having to hold down the space bar to get them to continuously jump. I found a macro that lets me get around this:
/macro SJ "powexec_toggleon Super Jump$$autorun 1$$++up"
Works like a charm. After a little experimentation, I was able to create a macro that lets me stop and stand still:
/macro NSJ "powexec_toggleoff Super Jump$$autorun 0$$-+up"
This also works as intended. The minor rub is that I have 2 macros clogging up my tray. What I'd really like is to have a bind that lets me press my chosen key once to start jumping (as in the first macro above), then press the same key a second time to stop on a dime (as in the second macro above).
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!
