  1. I agree the lag has increased to a unplayable amount on Bafs. I play a Firekin and a Earth Rad jumping between both Bafs and Lamb pretty regularly. Since the patch I have gotten 1 common and the rest uncommons. Nothing has changed except a increase in lag making the game really unfun.

I would still like to see a better upgrade path for incarnate drops. That would at least help with players not getting Rares and Very Rares. Make it a little easier to upgrade them.

Any 2 commons make a uncommon, any 3 uncommons make a Rare, and 4 rares make VR. Something along those lines. Why the need for very steep amounts of threads and influence?

I understand influence is easy to get, I have plenty myself but making players grind for threads and drops they don't need really makes for a unfun environment. To add more insult we have players crashing, and we have lag from hell.

    i20 black screen

Black screen, only the cursor is there. No Sound. You have to "apple" Tab to go back to your desktop. There you can see the game running in the dock, clicking it returns you to the black screen. You only option is to force quit.

I redownloaded the game, deleted prefs and the old game, reinstalled and it returned me to the same black screen.

I am running a brand new iMac with the i3 processor. Not sure of the graphics card, I will update when I get to work.

Nah, it's I20 is bugged or delayed, trying to keep us happy till then
  5. Worked well for me too, 90% better, but still some nagging issues!
  6. It's a driver issue, I had the same problem, try using this Beta driver from Nvidia, it fixed my issues.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2...ta-driver.html
  7. I have tried several solutions mentioned on the boards, including, deleting the pigg folder, uninstalling the game, updating, sound, graphics, and mobo drivers.

In short, I can't touch the Shadow slider while in game, and there are two others I can't touch. Things were Ok, but not perfect. I finally made it to Atlas park, joined a SG and tried to zone into the base. Nope, couldn't do it. Went back to one of my old 50s, same problem. Tried on my wife's computer, and it zoned fine.

I sent in a support ticket and was advised to go into safe mode and turn things on one by one. After a couple hours of testing I finally was able to enter the base. I never could get exactly one setting to deny my access though, it was a couple. Shadows was one, I can't remember the other right now.

Now onto the second problem, I can not call up the Costume change menu, it locks the game up every time the same way the base problem was doing. Any ideas?
  8. Every time I click to change costumes I crash, this started before GR update. I see part of the window, no costume and the game hangs.

  17. Thanks everyone. I will tweak the build a bit and post a new version in a day or so.
The cost of the build isn't really an issue at this point as I have all the IOs already.
I noticed while playing over the past few days that recharge isn't really important so I may drop Hasten and adjust the sets for better defense and less recharge.

  19. [ QUOTE ]
I am going to be Mr Negative but the servers i play on have really become city of farming now. Even i couldnt resist the 2 day trip from lvl 15 to 50.....
Honestly i like levelling as much as the next guy but I see i14 as doing more damage than good to the game.

I agree 100%. I am debating renewing next month. MA should be about tons of new content but instead it's about tons of new farms. There is no way the Devs can stop them all. It's too hard to find anything right now, teams, TFs anything besides MA farms.

A second problem is that we now have 3 currencies, well four if you count RWZ.

First thing I would do is stop the auto Sking of MA. If you enter a lvl 50 missions you need to be lvl 45 or higher, or have an actual Mentor. This would at least slow down the farmers. The last thing I would consider is limiting the time a player can spend not receiving XP or instead of a NO XP button, maybe make it a reduced XP button, such as 20% of normal. This would help with perma mentors.

To help the markets I would allow drops in MA just at a slower rate. And to give it a larger boost stop normal stores from buying salvage. Give the players a no salvage button for those who don't want to deal with it.

If nothing else I will return for i15 at least for a little while
  20. Wing Protectors of the Light is always recruiting active players. Shot myself a global @thaywoody
  21. I need a little help. I just setup a streaming server for work and need to "stress test" it. The end result for me is a place to host my own videos including some CoH projects I am working on. And if the capacity is high enough I could host some videos for others on this forum!

Anyway if any of you have spare time could you please visit http://www.wilsontimes.tv and watch a video or 2. Hopefully within the next week I will post some of my projects for you all to see
  22. I ran this yesterday and considered many of options listed in the thread.

I was running my Stone/fire tank lvl 50. I had 3 other 50s including a Inv/SS, a Scrapper, a Firekin. I picked up 4 lowbies mostly in the mid 30s 2 scrappers, and 1 fire/rad, I did have a VEAT at 40. It was a strange group but I figured with 2 tanks and high spirits we would be ok. I had completed this TF on my Stoner already, and also a couple times on my firekin.

The first mission we bashed a few mobs then I went Sybil hunting. I think we nailed that mission in 15 minutes or so. Me as a Stoner, and my lowbie SKed Scrapper handled some business.

The second mission I tried the sweep the cave method then go back for the cysts. I think with proper planning this will work very well. We missed about half the ambushes this way. Again no major issues.

The third mission went pretty well no major concerns, knowing where the General locations are helps. There are a few hard spots but overall we did well with smash and go.

The last mission we took the right path, everyone seemed to like it, most said it was better than the left. Again it was smash and go. We had good communication from team mates when ambushes would come from the rear. With 2 tanks, we had both sides covered at all times with no trouble.
At the end battle I cleared the sides and center count, pulled the 2 EBs and then tried something a little different. I went straight for the Healer Nictus on the left, and had the other tank pull from the right taunting the other Nictus and the AV. When I had aggro of the healer I dropped right of the ledge and it followed. So we have the AV still standing in his original position and me just a few feet away but on a lower lvl. After all the other Nictus have been consumed the healer floated up and we killed him 1 more time. Overall the entire battle lasted less than 10 minutes! I know this cause we had a 2 hour timer and only had 10 minutes left!

Again I am really pleased with this team results. Not as fast as I wanted but we did have ton of lowbie deaths. Overall we worked as a team and finished the battle within 2 hours.
  23. How do you rotate trys with binds? Is there a way to rotate more than just the bottom try?
  24. I got my Rad/Rad to 50 in 19 days, I was in bed sick with the flu for at least 2.5 days. And I work a full time job

Oh wait you said without PL......
  25. Its not one weekend. It's everytime they do something special freedom bogs down from lag. I have played almost a year, just 2 weeks shy. The only way for me to fix this problem is pay them more money to move my characters. Then who says that will fix it? Whos says the server I goto will not get "full." Then I pay MORE money to move again. NO!

Even Wow allows you to move from over populated servers for free!
