Whatever happened to....

Whatever happened to that Loyalty program? Since Going Rogue is only like a month away, the tiers for invites must be like what? 1 week each if that? Anybody got any info on this?

All City of Heroes® and City of Villains® players who maintain an active account for the time period beginning August 15, 2009 and ending November 15, 2009 will receive a set of special rewards for their loyalty to Paragon City™ and The Rogue Isles™:

* Closed Beta access* for City of Heroes Going Rogue™
* Exclusive loyalty badges**: "Vigilant" for Heroes and "Determined" for Villains


*Going Rogue Closed Beta Access will be granted using a three-tier system:

* Tier One: City of Heroes Veterans with 60+ months of paid time.
* Tier Two: Loyalty Program players
* Tier Three: Players who Pre-Order Going Rogue (Preorder details to be announced at a later date)

If I had to guess, and barring some game breaking bug, I would think that the beta would be open to everyone by July 22. Why that date? Because that's the date of the CoH panel at SDCC. If there's Q&A time at the panel, there will probably be questions asked that only beta testers would be asking, and getting both closed beta & non beta players together will inevitably lead to information leaking out.

Well Tier 1 hasn't started yet either. I got my 60 month vet badge on May 20, 2010. I know they invite who they want, but surely they didn't forget me. Tier 1 will start this evening I bet.

Anyone able to actually get in yet...got the loyalty badge on my US account and still no dice with entry or you American folks still waiting for things due to it being early hours yet?

any one else having trouble downloading the US beta client? I have tried 3 times (third time has 16 hours to download as of now.) the first try was as they mentioned an empty zip file... well sort of, it had 1 file called "data1.cab" the second time i got the same thing plus "data2.cab" but still can't do a thing with it (says the files are broken) so I am trying a third time.

I also updated my test client last night and now it has a huge file manifest.should I only worry about the test client and not the US GR beta client (ie same thing?)?
