I know that some people mentioned that Ice Blast doesn't have a snipe attack, but it does have two ranged hold attacks. I always assumed that was why it didn't have a snipe attack. Although it would be nice if the Bitter Freeze Ray activation time wasn't so dang long (2.50s).
The Ice secondary could use some improvements. My old 50 Ice/Ice blaster only ever took Chilblain, Build Up, Ice Patch, and Freezing Touch. The others just didn't seem all that useful, nor worth delaying the Fitness pool powers for (yea, she's old).
There is one question I have for the devs. Except for Devices, all the other secondaries are elemental based with attack powers. How come there's no brawler secondary with straight up punches and some self buffs? Between Martial Arts, Super Strength, and Street Justice there are plenty of animations already in the game. 4-5 attacks, Build Up, and some other self buffs to round it out and you're done. -
I just keep hoping for costume slots to go on sale again.

Then don't buy them. But those of us who already have them spent $20 extra (1600 points) to get each set so don't complain if you get them for half that. Be grateful that you're allowed to get them at all.

Quote:Um... I think you're forgetting that the IRS gets something like 35% of that. Plus you might have to pay state income tax as well.I've actually put serious thought into this...
In order:
Keep $25 million for myself
Donate $50 million to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra
Donate $50 million to the Perimeter Institute
Donate $100 million to the University of Waterloo
Donate $125 million to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto
Most importantly, I'd donate $175 million to MS Research.
Also, the half billion is if you take the payout, not the cash option. So you'll be waiting a while to get your hands on all of it. -

It's probably at least a speed record for any kind of convention. Given the queue system they had to limit the number of people actually logged into to the server to actually purchase the tickets, it could only go so fast.
Plus, unlike concert or sports tickets, each ticket is assigned to a specific person. So there's an automatic slowdown right there. -
sold out in one hour, twenty-two minutes.
That might actually be a speed record for ticket sales. -

When I used mine I believe that I could have purchased $30 of NCoin instead of the 60 days of CoH. I really didn't look that closely because I bought the card for CoH.

I know it should be possible. I just redeemed a time card and was given the option instead of time to get NCoin for Lineage II. So why do they work for Lineage II and not CoH?

Quote:From the announcement:To myself and others apparently, the announcement implied the pack came as a bundle deal, not as a 0pp cost extra item you needed to buy. To be honest, I can't recall if I noticed that is how it was done before or after I saw ZombieMan's post.
Which reminds me, forgot to buy it on my second account, blah.
For a limited time, purchase the Titan Weapons Power Set in the Paragon Market™, and you can purchase the Weapon Pack: Titan Weapons #1 for free!
And in actuality you could buy the Weapon Pack without the Power Set. I bought the pack after the original announcement and when I bought the set days later the weapons from the pack were there. -

There is is. Right in the original Titan Weapons announcement. If you didn't read the whole thing..... -
Anyone seen a video for the new "Present Costume Change Emote"? Change it up a bit and it could be a "Jumping Out of a Cake Costume Change Emote".
Also, when are we going to get some new winter clothes options? If you need some ideas: Mrs. Claus (Sexy but SFW). -
I guess street justice will have to wait till next month. At least now my TA/Archery character can be cursed with a Medusa form.

Maybe if they had included CoT weapons I would consider purchasing it. Especial if they didn't make the oversight of leaving one of the weapon sets out of the costume.
I'm still highly annoyed that EVERY weapon set got a Celestial weapon option except Ninja Blade and Claws. And the fact that the Barbarian set didn't include Katana, Ninja Blade, Claws, or Dual Blades is going to make me more cautious about purchasing a new costume set until I have verified that if there is a particular weapon left out it's not one I was thinking about using. -

Quote:How do you know someone has hover just because they have fly? I'm a long time vet that hasn't had to take the pre-req to get my travel power for a long time. I'll usually still take hover on squishy types, but I've got plenty of melee characters that only took Flight for getting from mission to mission.Moo has a point. "Purchaseable" travel powers are becoming an epidemic in this game, and they really ARE starting to crowd out the powerset travel powers by being free and now BETTER. Yes, it's true that you can fight while using Fly and you can't while using Rocket Board, but who honestly fights with Flight anyway? It suppresses, it costs too much and you have Hover which does so much better. What's to stop one from using Rocket Board/Hover instead of Fly/Hover?
As for the hover board, I think it's great for lower level characters who haven't found a power slot to devote to some travel power. It would also be insanely useful for non fly/teleport characters navigating the Shadow Shard. But I do find it hard to believe that even the most twinked out, min/maxed character can't find a way to get a travel power into a build. Especially since fitness became inherent that should have freed up power slots that could have been filled with a travel power if the character didn't previously have one. -
I'm pretty sure the answer to this question is yes, but we are going to get some Paragon Points for out beta characters, right? And any clue how many?
Edit: Guess I'm not the only one who had the same question. -
The only time I've had problems with the new launcher was when my .NET install was messed up. What made it worse was that I couldn't uninstall or reinstall that version on my computer. Then I found this: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/arc...8/8904493.aspx and used the cleanup tool it to remove .Net and then was able to successfully reinstall it. I haven't had any problems with the launcher since.
So if you're having issues with the launcher it might be worth giving it a try. -
Quote:That's very true. I usually avoid playing new (time sink) games because it would take time away from the game I am already paying to play.Best thing you've ever said.
I've been paying for 7 years on one account and two years on another account, gladly as well. If I hadn't kept my subs "active" through these payments I doubt I would have any interest in the game. To me, constant financial infusions into something keep my interest in ints development and activity levels.
