I noticed that this only happened if you started the AS animation without the Staff already out. So if you have your staff out in combat stance, it won't do the odd delay.
Still strange it does it only when staff is not out, it's like the drawing of the staff lags the actual hit and damage animation. -
It could be they noticed it and intend to stealth-fix it, or decided it wasn't a super important critical fix as long as the power worked and they'd eventually get around to it, or they have no idea how to fix it without reworking the entire AS.

What of the four EU servers added in 2005? Did Triumph not come until after those?
It's entirely possible he has to publicly say "Paragon Studios" due to Cryptic being a copyrighted name that was kept and is still used today. Keep in mind there isn't exactly good blood between the two studios.
Also from what I gathered he is talking only about the servers on the US servers list, the EU servers were probably maintained by a sub team and aren't counted until they were merged, Triumph WAS our last server in the US for US only customers, which is where their primary focus was. -

Even if it's the go by excuse, it's 2012, you mean to tell me in nearly eight years you haven't figured out how to do this when you've figured out power customization, color customization, powerset prolifierateion, a way to go from hero to villain and vice versa?
Differing mechanics like momentum, combos for powers, etc but "Someone may do something improper" really, that's as bad as BioWare's "Artistic Integrity" excuse. -

The crash is onerous, but nothing 1 blue and Dull Pain can't handle. I like having the ability to cap everything except Psi while having 45%+ Defense. Again, it isn't necessary, but when you absolutely need it, it is there for you. -

As a StJ/WP brute player you have combat readiness FAR too late pick it at 4, Grab fly at 22 since you have ninja run, slot CR for recharge and to-hit, you WILL be hitting that number key a LOT. -

Nothing is perfect, never will be. Maitenances need to be done to get to bugs or instability issues. Whoop-doo-dah-day, your precious game isn't going anywhere. Go watch a movie, go eat corn chips and ice cream (Bad idea together, trust me), or something.
A MMORPG cannot survive without maitenances, even if it is almost constant. You also seem to forget that Freedom just opened the flood gates VERY recently. Lag like out the dingo has returned and possible bugs that could ruin gameplay for folks are making apperances or just being found, etc.

Heck I got an hourglass shape and it's just genetics, I work out for four hours everyday! -

Besides I'm not very tolerant of elitist jerks, today was my first run of the From Below Trial and I, (As a time/grav) was holding everything down on the second level and some dude just went off on me. Which was really bad for him because I went off on him back about eight times as worse.
But he apologized, my experiences with Freedom are that most true jack ***** don't and I don't want to bother even having the possibility of my fun being ruined, so if Exalted is like that then it can go take a flying leap off Lord Recluse's tower. -

Heh I vividly remember someone I was in the "From Below" trial with saying "oh daily maint is a normal thing and rarely takes more than 30 minutes", and me, being gone for a year, clearly said "You're kidding right, no really, WHEN have they EVER had a 30 minute maint, at the very least it's going to be two hours".
I win by default really, though for me it's been over two hours since then, I've watched four tv episodes, should have bet her something... -

It's used to drain a foe of their endurance and recovery, making them easy to defeat, kill, or capture.
Oh and "pk", why do you think ALL villains are cowardly, it honestly takes a lot to go toe to toe with more than one "Hero" alone and win, or sometimes lose. -
