Yeah, that's what I was wondering about. Granted, there's still a lot of spiffy new content to play with. Maybe they didnt' want a bunch of trial accounts lagging up the initial Invasion?
Granted, with the Invasion encore, there's still a chance for the trials to catch it.

Yeah, considering the dramatic increase in inf spammers, this is quite possibly the worst time to do this if they want to get them under control.
That was a freackin awsome video!!! We need more like that. Just wish they would have done that as the teaser trailer.

It said trial - unless they didn't have a combined account already, it can't be used to open up inactive accounts.

Oh good. There's never any spam or random [censored] from some idiot who doesn't care if his free trial account gets banned. Yeah, these are always a fabulous idea.
That was a great video if you ask me. I love the way it was set up as a news report. The voice actors didn't quite go the distance, but all in all it was greate.

Seriously, Would it have killed you to get someone who spoke the Queens English natively rather that get a (probably quite competent normally) American voice actress to murder it?
The mini-skirt was bad enough now I'm never going to be able to take Lady Grey seriously.
Trials bleh, but that video was awesome. Most videos are pretty boring, or they're pure CGI (er...more than normal) but this one using almost all in-game stuff and the 'roleplay' quality was great. Please make more videos like this. And release a bigger one that I can download and watch obsessively. I've shown this to non-COH friends/family of mine and made them merry too.

Agreed. Usually the trailers they make are lame and could be put together by a 10 year old with a modicum of editing skills. But this trailer had some actual EFFORT put into it and was brilliantly done.

lol the blimp has always been there (since I've been playing). Amazing how it doesn't get shot down and slam into city hall or Atlas or something. I just noticed this after watching that video... the best way to disarm a bomb is to blow it up
