Quote:My primary is an Ice/SS tanker as well however I made him way back in I2 but never played him again until I7 when they FINALLY made defense scale. Before scaling defense playing a set that relied on dodging was a very dangerous proposition. If it wasn't bad enough that the higher they were then you made it easier for them to hit you but also if the mob had debuffs like Rularuu or something then you might as well turn off your toggles.Ok Making this simple.......Why Take Ice Armor......Now my main is a Ice/SS so i'm not hating on ice i'm just asking all the Ice Armors out there why Take Ice over any other Primary? I'm also asking this cause i feel like the only Ice tanker on any server anywhere some times.
Many people misunderstand Ice armour mainly because the average player doesn't comprehend the difference between typed defense and positional. However a properly built Ice Tanker can not only have the HP cap but also the VERY best aggro control in the game plus Chilling Embrace with it's juicy -recharge, -speed, -damage and EA with it's ability to bolster your defense for every foe hit and drain the mobs of endurance (not to mention the fact it's an auto hit power). The set is really fantastic and you just have to know how to play it.
The one thing more than anything that a competent and skilled tanker must have is a good knowledge of the game and of each mob and how it works. It really is a phrase to live by but 'know thy enemy' is critical as a tanker because it often means the difference between tanking well and being in trouble far too often. If I'm tanking for a team and for instance I'm heading into a mob of DE then my first priority is the Granite critters or baddies that drop Quartz which will turn my tanker into a paper tiger. If I'm fighting Longbow then by all means I've got to take out that Nullifier toot sweet. Their sonic grenades not only have a huge range but also overlap and stack and effectively render all my toggle armours worthless.
But if I play smart and understand my enemy then there is literally almost nothing in the game I can't handle. Not only is my tanker built so that in just 2 applications of EA I can perma drain a mob of endurance but the first application alone puts me way over the defense cap. Barring psionic damage my tanker is already sitting at 45% defense to all damage types which is the soft cap so anything from EA is gravy and helps to protect me from debuffs eating away at my numbers. Additionally I've got the HP cap, protection from slows, -recharge, -end recovery, and very good resistances to all other damage types. The only thing in the game that's given me a challenge are psionic attacks and baddies that do untyped damage like Hamidon but that applies to essentially everyone except a few cases.
Ice however is not taken often nor utilized with frequency because it's a maturing set which requires insightful building on the players part and a sharp mind to know how to play it correctly. Most players want a 'toggle and forget' tanker that instantly gives them full protection and survivability without having to think about it. That's why like on a Statesman TF or Kahn TF a Stone tank is preferably wanted. I can tell you though I've run both TF's with my Ice tanker with NO problem and never came close to dying except once when I was tanking Lord Recluse before the red tower went down and he hit me with his 'I Win' punch. He took away over 3,000 HP and would have followed it up with a TKO. I had turned around to see what my dog was doing since she was unusually quite (she was chewing a damn pillow) and wasn't paying attention. Fortunately I turned around just in the nick of time and popped Hibernate and within 6 seconds I was back up and running at full power
Soon as the red tower went down I was home clear since his attacks were no longer doing UBEROMGWTFBBQ damage anymore.

Nostalgia Critic Reviews: The Flintstones Movie -
When I saw this clip the first thing that popped into my head was "This looks fake". The BIG clue was the fact they didn't show his face during the whole clip. Now I've come across this article below and it seems I wasn't the only one who thought so. Yet to be fair I'm taking this a bit better than most. I mean some fans are absolutely LIVID.
Quote:That deleted Star Wars scene? Mark Hamill says it ISN'T him
As part of the announcement that Star Wars would finally be coming to Blu-ray, George Lucas screened a never-before-seen clip from Return of the Jedi over the weekend, showing Luke Skywalker building his own lightsaber in a cave on Tatooine. But according to Mark Hamill—he never filmed that scene.
The deleted scene debuted at Star War Celebration V and shows Darth Vader telepathically urging Luke to join the Dark Side, while Luke constructs—and ignites—his own lightsaber.
But it turns out that Mark Hamill, when asked about the existence of such a moment at Comic-Con in 2009, said that "I never shot a scene like that."
Check out the brief interview below.
Comic Con 2009 Interview Mark Hamill (Star Wars)
Does it matter to you that the scene that made audiences cheer over the weekend may have been shot with a stand-in? Or is it all just a part of the movie magic?

Quote:Okay... now I'm starting to get a little worried. These 'cameo' pics of other Green Lanterns that are turning up on the net are not exactly filling me to the brim with confidence. I mean I'm trying to be as positive as possible but... I don't know these photos are just not really doing justice to the characters. Course to be fair it's kind of hard to interpret a giant insect any other way lol
We recently showed you a picture of Kilowog from director Martin Campbell's forthcoming Green Lantern film, courtesy of CBM. Now the site has revealed another image, this time of Bzzd, a wasp-like creature member of the Green Lantern corps from the planet Apiaton. Check out the image to your left.
In battle, Bzzd usually creates oversized constructs (such as roller coasters and giant warheads) with his Power Ring. He often faces extra scrutiny from his fellow Lanterns because of his size but he has shown that his willpower is as strong as anyone else's. It is revealed that his greatest fear is to be stripped of his ring and returned to an insignificant insect trapped on his home world.
According to CBM, 3,600 Green Lantern Corps members who patrol the similarly numbered sectors of the universe will cameo in next summer's live action superhero adaptation, and at least two dozen alien Lanterns will have center stage roles, including Bzzd.
Green Lantern is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 17, 2011.

We're used to seeing great replicas of Star Wars ships, but we've never laid our eyes on a life-size re-creation of a TIE Interceptor. Yet here it is, large and in charge on the floor at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando.

Quote:I'd like nothing more than to see Pike come back for the sequel. I think Greenwood is probably one of the finest actors I've ever come across in a long time and after seeing him in Thirteen Days in my opinion the man can do no wrong.
We'd sure like to hear some details about the sequel to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot, but those who know are being vaguelike actor Bruce Greenwood, who portrayed Capt. Christopher Pike and teased us all when he opened up recently about how important he thinks the first Enterprise captain is to the franchise.
The Canadian actor thinks Pike is SO important to Star Trek that he should end up with his own series. When asked in an interview with Collider whether Pike was going to be in the Star Trek sequel (of which we really know nothing at all as of yet), the actor said:
"I think Captain Pike is an essential component to the whole franchise. I think there should be a whole offshoot of Pike's adventures."
The fact that his character is now wheelchair-bound following the events of the 2009 movie doesn't faze Bruce Greenwood at all:
"There's nothing that says Pike can't get up and out of that wheelchair, get his own ship and go off on some adventures of his own. I'm now an admiral, but I just want to get out of the wheelchair."
But what does it all mean? Will Pike be back or not? Greenwood's not saying. But if he does return, don't count on him having the white hair Pike sported in the original Star Trek episodes "The Menagerie, Parts I and II":
"I had a long conversation about that with J.J. [Abrams] early on, because he wanted the hair to go [white] ... because in the script it says the hair goes all white. I said [crying] "Do we have to get so Malcolm McDowell about it?"
What do you think about the idea of Capt. Pike getting out of the wheelchair and going off to have his own adventures? Perhaps we could see him in his new post of admiral while he wrestles with politics, Klingons and Romulans? Or better yet, should there be a prequel about the Starfleet years of the young and dashing captain?

Quote:Wow... after reading the synopsis of that film I can't believe that Jackman even AGREED to do it in the first place. I mean hell why didn't he just go the whole hog and make a 'Mary Kay Man' movie complete with a bright pink 3 piece suit and matching bow tie
Hugh Jackman has bowed out of the upcoming comedy Avon Man, which we reported he joined last July. Deadline New York is reporting that he will still be attached as a producer of the film, which Kevin Lima is directing for Fox.
The site also reports that Jackman's Avon Man departure is a likely indicator that he is prepping to step back into his Wolverine role for the sequel X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2. Christopher McQuarrie wrote the script for the sequel and, while no director has been attached as of yet, it was believed that Fox is getting the film ready to go into production next year.
Avon Man was scheduled to start shooting in October and the site indicated that producers have started reaching out to other actors to fill in for Jackman. They still plan on making their October start date for the film. Avon Man, which was written by Allan Loeb, centers on an auto salesman who, after getting laid off, swallows his pride and takes a job selling Avon door-to-door. He then rallies his struggling town and laid-off co-workers to join him to help win a regional sales competition.
It was also reported that Jackman could shoot the Civil Rights film Selma for director Lee Daniels before shooting X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2. Jackman would portray Sherrif Jim Clark, whose arrest of Martin Luther King sparks the Civil Rights movement. No production schedule has been set for the film, but it is believed to have secured funding through The Weinstein Company, Pathe and Skyline Pictures.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on all of Hugh Jackman's upcoming projects as soon as more information comes in.
Avon Man comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Hugh Jackman. The film is directed by Kevin Lima.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Hugh Jackman.
Selma comes to theaters in 2010 and stars Hugh Jackman, Liam Neeson, David Oyelowo, Lenny Kravitz, Cedric the Entertainer. The film is directed by Lee Daniels.

Quote:Huh... and hear I thought Kate said she would NEVER do another Underworld again? Course in this economy a check is a check and what the hell I'm sure she can use the cash. In any case it will be good to see her in tight black leather again
Sony's Screen Gems has moved back the release date for Underworld 4 from September 23, 2011 to January 20, 2012. Right now, the fourth installment of the franchise has that date to itself.
The 3D sequel is expected to feature Kate Beckinsale back in Selene's skin. Screenwriter John Hlavin previously described the movie as follows: "It will satisfy old fans and excite new audiences, meaning that we don't want to redo the first three movies, so steps are being taken to honor what fans have loved but at the same time introduce fresh elements."
In other Sony release news, the studio has set a March 25, 2011 release for Roland Emmerich's Anonymous.
The film, starring Vanessa Redgrave, David Thewlis and Rhys Ifans, is a political thriller about who actually wrote the plays of William Shakespeare.

Quote:'The Man in Black'? Why not just call him 'Generic Sinister Looking Mutant in the Shadows #138'
Since initial filming is only a few days away, it's time to go into over drive casting-wise with "X-Men: First Class". That's why you shouldn't be so surprised that we're flooding you with a lot of casting news. Although, I do admit, three pieces of X-Men news within the past 24 hours does feel like overkill. Well, this bit of news involves a fine actor in a role of a non-mutant that doesn't exist in the X-Men universe.
Actor Oliver Platt is joining the Matthew Vaughn film, taking on the role of a character known as The Man In Black. No, I'm not kidding, that's the character's actual name. What exactly does he do? No idea, but hopefully we'll be able to find that out soon enough.
"X-Men: First Class" centers on the friendship between Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) as it gradually deteriorates and the two go their separate ways to form the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. "First Class" flies into theaters everywhere on June 3rd, 2011. You can check out Oliver Platt on the new Showtime original series "The Big C" starting tonight at 10:30 p.m. PST/EST.

Quote:I have a feeling these movies are really gonna pull out all the stops and kick some major butt. Let's hope so

The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort... alive.

Recently we got a cool peek of the cuddly looking Kilowog from Martin Campbell's "Green Lantern". Now we get a better look at Tomar-Re, unless you were one of those lucky people who was able to check him out in the teaser footage they showed off at this year's Comic-Con.
Within the comics Tomar-Re is a scientist from the planet Xudar who becomes part of the Green Lantern Corps. He ends up training new members and develops a pretty solid friendship with Hal Jordan once he appears on the scene.
"Green Lantern", starring Ryan Reynolds, flies into theaters on June 17th, 2011.

Kind of looks like Watto from Star Wars but with a fin lol Man Kilowog didn't exactly ring my bells and this one isn't doing it either. But I'll reserve judgment till I see it on the big screen. -
Quote:Well one thing is for sure. No matter the outcome the only 'winners' in the end are the lawyers and the fortune they'll make in 'billable hours' lol
Uh-oh! Looks like there's a lawsuit bout to happen between two alien invasion properties that sounds interesting at first, until you read more about it and realize you don't give a crap.
Battle: Los Angeles vs. Skyline. Here's the details via Deadline:
A real battle is brewing between rival aliens-invade-Los Angeles films Skyline and Battle: Los Angeles. Sony Pictures Entertainment, the studio behind the big budget Battle: Los Angeles, is exploring its legal options. At issue: Greg and Colin Strause, the owners of visual effects house Hydraulx, were paid millions of dollars to generate visual effects work for Battle: Los Angeles. But Hydraulx never informed SPE the siblings were directing a VFX-driven rival alien invasion feature that will hit theaters four months before SPE's March 12, 2011 release. SPE higher-ups discovered it was in a real horse race after Universal Pictures released a trailer that showed Los Angeles denizens being vacuumed into the sky by hovering space ships.
SPE lawyers have just started digging into the matter. This can be viewed as a Goliath vs. David story considering that the Strause brothers shot most of their film in an apartment, with the entire film costing a fraction of what SPE has spent for a full-scale alien battle film. But Skyline created strong buzz at Comic-Con that will give it a wide release through Relativity and Universal Pictures. Battle: Los Angeles could certainly have its thunder stolen. At issue: did Hydraulx and its owners owe SPE a heads-up?
And is SPE trying to create a legal issue with a film that can't afford it, to leverage a release date change that delays Skyline.
Skyline will be released November 12 by Universal. I'm told the questions that SPE legal are asking include whether Hydraulxs work on Battle: Los Angeles served as a springboard for Skyline, or gave the Strause brothers access to equipment that helped bolster the visual effects on their small budget film. SPEs position is that at minimum, the Hydraulx principals should have disclosed their intention to make the rival project, to avoid any conflict of interest issues. Expect the legal letters to begin flying shortly.
A rep for the Strause issued a statement: "Any claims of impropriety are completely baseless. This is a blatant attempt by Sony to force these independent filmmakers to move a release date that has long been set by Universal and Relativity and is outside the filmmakers' control." SPE declined comment as did Relativity.
Click HERE to read the rest.
I'm no lawyer, but it sounds like Sony just wants to make sure Skyline doesn't open before their movie and is doing whatever they can to make sure it stays way out of the way. I don't see how their claims of conflict of interest could possibly hold up in court. But if I knew anything about the law I'd be a scumbag lawyer making the big bucks instead of a scumbag internet writer who works for praise and food stamps.

Quote:I agree with the author of the article. I'd have to say I'm looking forward far more to De Niro in Machete than anything else. I have a feeling he's gonna channel Travis Bickle for his role lol
Actor Robert De Niro is gearing up to be part of the cast for the Italian romance film "Manual of Love 3". The role he'll be playing is a divorced American professor living in Rome. Yes, he'll have to be speaking Italian for almost half of the time he's on screen. Yeah, my mind shot over to "The Godfather 2" as well, wonderful film.
Anyways, principal photography begins on September 24th and hopefully the film will be out sometime late next year overseas. Giovanni Veronesi, the director of the first two features from this franchise, will be taking on the third piece. Apparently De Niro's last brush with working on a foreign film is "1900", a Bernardo Bertolucci drama that came out in 1976. That's quite a gap in between foreign films.
You have a couple of options of how and when you want to see De Niro in theaters soon. The first is checking out De Niro on the screen later this year in "Little Fockers" on December 22nd or you can see him probably get ripped to shreds in the action film "Machete" on September 3rd. Don't know about you, but I'm definitely checking out "Machete".

Quote:See I always thought that made more sense. That it turned out the whole time Lois DID know that Clark was Superman (she's a freaking investigative reporter after all) but out of respect for his decision she just kept her mouth shut until he was ready to tell her. Nice to hear the producers of Smallville have the same idea.
Warning: This article contains spoilers that some readers may prefer to avoid.
Erica Durance has revealed that she enjoys the relationship between Lois and Clark on Smallville.
The actress told Give Me My Remote that it will be different in the new season because Lois now knows the true identity of Clark (Tom Welling).
"I'm a huge fan of the Lois-Clark relationship and how they've done it through the years that I've been there," she said.
"It's taken more time to get them there but they continue to have that kind of banter back and forth. And of course this year the flip is that she knows his secret. She's able to support him in that and understand that he doesn't want to tell her yet, so she is trying to be as patient as possible. So you see a little bit of fun there in how she tries to hide that she knows."
However, Durance suggested that Lois may not be able to keep quiet forever.
"I think in true Lois fashion, she'll probably end up blurting it out to him in some terribly aggressive way," she said.
Smallville returns for its tenth and final season on September 24 on The CW.

Quote:Heheh I didn't read them because I don't want to be spoiled before the movie comes out. But for those who did all I can say is... not sure how accurate this is so take it with a grain of salt.
For some while now a rumor has been in the wind that director Martin Campbell's forthcoming Green Lantern film would feature a villain named Krona, who created parallel universes and has been featured in the 'Green Lantern' comic mythology.
Speculation continues as to whether or not the inclusion of Krona in Green Lantern could be used as a larger device to tie together DC's various cinematic superheroes in an ultimate 'Justice League' (or similar) feature film down the road.
The folks over at CBM have subsequently managed to confirm the rumor of Krona's participation in Green Lantern, and have also revealed some significant plot points.
Be warned, major spoilers follow
* Krona becomes the first "host" to Parallax, a demonic parasitic entity that is the embodiment of fear. It travels from world to world, causing entire civilizations to destroy themselves out of paranoia. This will be a prologue of the movie.
* Parallax doesn't just feed off of fear, it rips the souls out of it's victims; leaving dried "husks" of the corpses.
* Parallax/Krona attacks Abin Sur's ship, which causes him to crash land on Earth and die, handing over the ring to Hal Jordan.
* While performing an autopsy on the corpse of Abin Sur, Hector Hammond becomes infected by a fragment of Parallax which causes him to gain exponential telepathic and telekinetic powers.
* Hammond attacks Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris (whom he harbors feelings towards) at the Ferris airfield hanger, a similar scene to the one in the Green Lantern Secret Origins comic; the difference being that Hammond wants Hal's Green Lantern ring.
* Hammond is ultimately killed by Parallax, who absorbs his soul in the manner mentioned above.
* Parallax fights Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris on Earth. The fight is unevenly matched until other members of the Green Lantern Corps arrive.

Quote:That Terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse or fear and it absolutely will not STOP. Until you are dead!
We reported yesterday that Hannover House and Red Bear Entertainment
were making a new 3D animated film based off The Terminator called Terminator 3000 and now Deadline New York is reporting that Pacificor, the company which holds the rights to the franchise, has issued a cease and desist order to stop the film.
Hannover House CEO Eric Parkinson told the site that the news made public because solely because one of the potential partners in the project had spoken publicly about it, and that he was still awaiting word from William Morris Endeavor, the agency that is representing Pacificor. He also said that he had "proprietary rights" to make the film in the animated format, since he once headed up the home video division of Hemdale, which made the original Terminator film.
"The animation rights were excluded when Hemdale sold Terminator to Carolco and when I left Hemdale, part of my settlement was that I got those rights," Hannover told me. "However, the way the rest of the contractual rights are written, it would be dangerous for us to do this without Pacificor's approval. They have certain intellectual rights. The best way to put it is, they can't make an animated film without me, and we might not be able to make it without them. We are in discussions with WME, and hope we can deal with this expeditiously."
Parkinson also told the site that he had received the cease and desist order and made Pacificor aware of his rights to make the film, which would entitled Pacificor to a large fee if the film is made.
"We've arranged a meeting, we'll show them our money and if the rational brain prevails, they'll take the deal. If not, I can't do it without them. You'll have a followup next week that we are either holding hands, or not doing the film. At least we now have our meeting. I hope they will can think outside the box, because if we can make a movie that delivers a $20 million to $30 million rights payment, that is an income source they didn't realize was possible. If not, it was a good idea anyway."
You can Click Here! to read the full cease and desist order and we'll be sure to keep you posted with any news regarding this new animated film based off The Terminator as soon as we have more information.
The Terminator was released October 26th, 1984 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn, Linda Hamilton, Paul Winfield, Lance Henriksen, Bess Motta, Earl Boen, Rick Rossovich. The film is directed by James Cameron.

Quote:Look it was a good series that had a HORRIBLE finale. Other than that there really isn't anything more to say about the story or the characters is there? I mean there are only two possibilities for Tony... death or prison and that's about it. Either prospect doesn't exactly excite me to want to watch a movie about it.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about her recent Emmy nomination for her work starring as the title character on Showtime's Nurse Jackie, Edie Falco discussed the plausibility of a Sopranos movie and her interest in being involved.
Edie Falco said:
Frankly, I think it's not going to materialize, but stranger things have happened. I would definitely be interested in being involved; I'm pretty good at rolling with the punches. I would be fine if it never happened, but I would also love to go back there and see all the people I love again. Who knows? I'm not the one making the decisions and I would jump at the chance to participate.

I just hope they do this last season justice and they get permission to show him in the costume when they finally do get around to the finale. Oh and I am also thankful that they didn't get She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to come back either. Thank you Jesus! Though the knowledge that Papa Kent and possibly Lex is coming back is awesome news
It's a big year for Smallville, with the show on the eve of its tenth and final season. And ahead of the return of the show, a teaser trailer for what lies ahead has been released. It's very clear too that trouble lies ahead.

George Clooney and Angelina Jolie are planning to star as Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe in an adaptation of the upcoming novel, The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend, Marilyn Monroe, reports The Times.
The book, by Andrew O'Hagan and set for release this December, serves as a biopic of Monroe, told through the eyes of her Scottish maltese poodle, Mafia Honey (nicknamed Maf), given to her as a present by Sinatra.
O'Hagan announced the news at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. It is unknown if a director is currently attached.

Quote:They had me all the way up to the point where I found out that the 'Battleship' in question fights 'aliens' in the film. That was the point I rolled my eyes and just said 'Nextttt'.
All right, when we all first heard that Universal Pictures was making a movie out of the Hasbro board game "Battleship", it sounded like one of the lamest ideas ever. Despite that, they continued on, attaching people to the cast like Taylor Kitsch And Rihanna. Peter Berg is directing the sci-fi action tale, centered on a fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals. The real question, is "Battleship" a worthy investment for Universal?
"Battleship" is rounding out it's budget to be around $200 Million, not a good number for an iffy picture. Everyone knows that Universal isn't churning out hit after hit, so for them to go ahead with production on "Battleship" is strange for the studio. Obviously a lot of us would be hesitant to hear that Universal is still going through with "Battleship", which is why chairman Adam Fogelson speaks out about their decision.
"It's a big bet like many, many big bets from many studios," Universal chairman Adam Fogelson acknowledges. "We will be nowhere near the high point and nowhere near the low point of what people are spending."
"He has a very strong passion and affinity for this material," Fogelson said on Berg. "He is a fan of the history and the current state of the military. He knows that world really, really well, and he is inspirational when he is talking about it."
"Battleship" is set to begin principal photography within fifteen days. Is anyone interested in this board game turned film at all, or do you think Universal is setting themselves up for box office disaster?

Quote:I reiterate my statement from my other First Class post.
Jason Flemyng is the latest addition to the cast of "X-Men: First Class", but who exactly is he playing in it? Well, apparently he's getting paternal as he takes on the role of Azazel, Nightcrawler's papa in the Matthew Vaughn directed film. Azazel is a teleporter and a immortal demonic mutant, who hooks up with Mystique and thus Nightcrawler is born.
At this point, I'm just not really surprised lesser known characters from the Marvel comics are appearing. It's an origin story, but we've been hearing so much about the casting of other random mutants that you wonder how it's all going to play out on the big screen. At this point though, its pretty obvious that Nightcrawler will be making an appearance if they're going through all the trouble of introducing his daddy in the X-Men movie universe.
Principal photography is set to start by the end of this month, so maybe we'll get a better glimpse of what to expect sometime soon. Flemyng has appeared in several film including "Solomon Kane", "Clash of the Titans" and "Kick-***".

All right, so the different characters that have been cast as of recent have kind of made me wonder how much focus they'll have on the actual origin story of Xavier and Lensherr's dissolving friendship. Another step in the right direction has happened for the casting of "X-Men: First Class" with the addition of "Damages" star Rose Byrne. She'll be taking the role of Moira MacTaggert, Xavier's former flame who ends up creating her own mutant research center on Muir Island. That completely throws out the rumor that actress Rosamund Pike will be taking on the character, which isn't too much of a loss.
It appears almost all the major characters are filled up for "X-Men: First Class" unless there's some more that Fox plans to have in there that we don't know about. Those that are part of the cast include James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Alice Eve, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Lucas Till, Caleb Landry Jones and Edi Gathegi. Initial filming is slated to begin later on this month and the Twentieth Century Fox film will be released on June 3rd, 2011.
