I think it looks great, a least them seem to be keeping faithful to the comics.
You gotta remember the sorts of special effects that'll be going on. That and the much clearer image from being a real movie ought to fix that rather B-movie-like impression he leaves.

Within the comics Tomar-Re is a scientist from the planet Xudar who becomes part of the Green Lantern Corps. He ends up training new members and develops a pretty solid friendship with Hal Jordan once he appears on the scene.
"Green Lantern", starring Ryan Reynolds, flies into theaters on June 17th, 2011.

Kind of looks like Watto from Star Wars but with a fin lol Man Kilowog didn't exactly ring my bells and this one isn't doing it either. But I'll reserve judgment till I see it on the big screen.
