Irony of ironies, I recently just went through some hairy stuff with NCSoft support since I was being billed for an account that no one has apparently played since 2006.
Where's the irony, you ask? Well, I had seven _known_ accounts on one card a while back, and then the change of policy went through where five was the limit. I marked down my five "keeper" accounts and kept a close eye on them, not realizing that NCSoft didn't mind taking money for a sixth account that I don't have any records of.
They can't even tell me the name of the account.
Sounds like it's time for NCSoft to rethink their account card holder privileges policies. -

5 seperate accounts. I can't do it on my laptop, but my desktop could run two instances at once. I'd run a MM set to follow on a corrupter and just tear up <bleeps> villainside. It was sick. Just sick. My husband could run 3 instances on his, two defenders, one on auto heal and one to auto SB, and his scrapper could do things that... well... maybe that's why they wouldn't let me resub cuz that was so many shades of wrong. -

If I was the credit card company and I was able to identify you as the card owner and you said that the 5 subs were YOURS then I don't see what the issue is.
If NCSoft was that worried about credit card fraud then they should have contacted the credit card company and asked if it had been reported stolen. (Companies are allowed to say yes or no without giving out personal information. I used that tactic when I was working in retail loss prevention.) OR NcSoft should have contacted the owners of the accounts to verify them.
Anyway, welcome back.
Yeah, it's NCs rule. I use that card all the time, it's a debit card but can function as a Visa credit card for online purchases. Any time there's a questionable purchase, the bank calls us to verify it. We ok it (so far) and it's done. NCSofts account billing screen automatically declines the purchase, each and everytime. And yeah, I'm just BMWing about it now. I talked with support way back when it first happened and they couldn't help either. You'd think they'd want people to resub but... guess not. -

5 accounts is, apparently, too many for a decent person to have for any reason. I can't pay by credit card ever again. I can't say more than that on the official forums without getting modsmacked for really foul language. Needless to say <bleeped growls and general anger>. -
