Super Group additions
I've seen a few SGs where it's members sacrifice an entire costume slot for the SG costume. How about expanding the SG colors into a full SG costume slot that is awarded by the leaders after some milestone has been passed... possibly a separate story arc that is SG specific.
ability to either, decline having the symbol on the character, or able to move it.
Characters with skin showing. Makes the symbol look like a tattoo.
If it could be moved onto the costume that would work. Also this would be nice for character creation as well
Not sure if this can be done but I would like to see each costume be able to have its own SG color layout. So that Costume #1 could have it SG Color layout different from #2 and so on. I have some outfits the layout only works for that costume an no other.
I'd like to see a Super Group bank where members could deposit influence and enhancements for common use.
In addition to my vote for:
- Additional Ranks / Titles
- A group wide "uniform" (fifth slot costume, etc.)
I would also love to see a place where you could see the motto for the SG. Or even better, an option to see the SG's creed/manifesto/philosophy (like a long term MotD for those not IN the SG).

What tweaks would you like to see for Super Groups?
What new features?

Allow the Guild Leader/Creator to decide on creation what SG ranks should have the ability to change/update the SG MotD.
Here's one thing I came up with a while ago that I think could be done both for SGs and for individual players.
The Nemesis concept:
Each individual player and/or supergroup may declare a specific villian group their "nemesis." By declaring a group as your "nemesis", you gain certain abilities (possibly based on AT), and potentially certain weaknesses.
For example, The Medical Ethics Council SG declares Dr. Vahzilok and his group to be their nemesis. As a result, all members of the supergroup are given certain bonuses in combating Vahzilok goons, based on their primary role in the team.
Defenders gain extra defense bonuses vs. toxic damaage and can, to a degree, impart these to teammates.
Blasters and scrappers gain the ability to do minor toxic damage (thanks to having studied the workings of Vahzilok toxins) with each strike.
Tankers become HIGHLY resistant to toxic damage and can draw aggro from Vahzilok goons more easily (IE: higher % of successful taunt effect).
Controllers have a higher % of controlling (IE: stunning, holding, etc.) a Vahzilok goon.
With respect to SGs, declaring your SG to have a nemesis would result in an ongoing campaign to destroy or at least contain the nemesis group. This would generate special SG missions (perhaps available from the SG coordinator at City Hall?), as well as random attacks on your members by nemesis goons and random missions being generated (IE: you suddenly get a big flashing SG symbol on your screen when an emergency mission comes up). The SG campaigns would be noteably different from individual player campaigns.
At the individual player level, things would operate on a mostly similar basis, but the missions would be different and could be organized through a specific contact other than the SG coordinator. Alternatively, rather than declare a specific nemesis, you could choose to accept one from your contact, based on your origin, but which would be randomly assigned to you.
Anyway, just a little brainstorm there.

Make Hamidon a SG Trial instead of what it is now. Also, make some SG Raid type options available.
For tweaks, I think removing inactive players and adjusting colors/settings would be the biggies for me.
For additions, I love the previous ideas about SG content. I'd also like to suggest the possibility of sub- or specialized teams, a la the Espionage Squad from Legion or the Blue and Gold teams from Xmen.
More of a tie-in with Paragon City and the story line(s). Have a supergroup that has satisfied a bunch of (not necessarily public) criteria become known to an NPC supergroup like Freedom Phalanx. I seem to remember something like that being in the original plan, perhaps the idea could be revived. This knowledge could turn into friendship and even alliance, with various perks and possibly restrictions. And, conversely, a CoV alliance could become known to CoT or the Council or whoever.
Scorus
Ability to demote by SG owner (original hero who registered the group)
Ability to change colours
Ability to change emblem
Ability to assign EACH costume with an SG mode, so you don't have to readjust your costume EVERY time you change
Ability to display emblem somewhere other than covering your chest (I'd like to see the ability to put it on the capes myself)
Ability to choose NO emblem or Letters and numbers for Emblems (I'd like to get the initials of my group)
Ranks visible (maybe a bar system for the arm of the character or special rank badge in accolades, owner, commander, lt., and member ranks)
E-mail to SG
OR
An ingame posting system so all members can leave a message to the entire group ( I like to leave upcoming changes and tips on new features in the message of the day, and I would like to have everyone be able to do this, or leave a note when they are planning a raid or TF or when they want to say they leveled)
edit: And a way to leave stuff for other members, like an enhancement or a bit of influence or some inspirations... like a locker system or "in box"
I would like the ability to /hide from anyone not in my SG, but remain visible to them.
...the ability to select multiple members of my SG simultaneously and invite them all to a team with one click.
...the ability to subdivide the SG into squadrons.
These are not my original ideas, just suggestions I have seen others post about in the past that I too would like to see in the game for Super Groups.
1) Fix the sorting for "Last On" in Super Group window. It currently sorts alphabetically.
2) Officer/Leader chat channel.
3) Individual SG costume settings for each costume.
4) Ability to promote/demote offline players.
5) Different Name-color for non-grouped Super Group members instead of using the same blue color.
6) Alliances with other Super Groups; Alliance chat channel included.
I'd love to be able to have the founder remove inactive members, particularly the upper level ones, but here's something I haven't seen mentioned so far.
Would an SG only version of teamspeak be able to be incorporated into COH? I know nothing of the logistics of it, just curious.
Super Group vehicle, Task Force Mission for SG's, Trophy room, Danger Room, Meeting Room, SG Costume option and costume slot, SG specific Arch villain, SG Time Machine/Portal in the vein of danger room for SG missions for its members, SG base raids by Arch Villain/Nemesis minions, Computer Room with info on each member that details the character beyond just the badges, NPC's that reside in the SG like butler, security personell, sidekicks (that member can take with them on missions for influence hit)..........
1) Alliance chat.
2) SG bank, vault or trading post. It would also be nice to have a gen pop npc that was a trading post.
3) Super group only missions that were independent of level. You would have to get a team of eight but they would all be side kicked up to the highest level in the group automatically. All people in this mission must be part of the same super group. This would allow super groups to team regardless of the number of mentors they have and also give each super group its own content.
4) Super group tf that effect the overall story line of the game in a minor way. For example if clamor was driven off by super group x then a plaque somewhere would read super group x drove clamor from this location. Plaque would change name after another super group successfully completed task force. Task force would be both long and difficult.
5) Graphic additions that would be an added option to super group members only. Small something like an arm band or ribbon that could be bought at icons if they wanted to. Only people that were a member of a super group could buy these and only super group leaders could change the design.
1) More ranks-only the top two of which (inc leader) would have the power to remove members
2)Ability of the prime leader to remove other leaders.
3)75 ACCOUNTS rather than Chars. Alts should be allowed in SG without compromising slots.
4) A choice of special powers that can only be activated if wearing SG colours. Each SG picks the one that they feel defines their group.
5) SG missions that can have an impact on the overall group.
e.g. If group fails a mission then the entire SG loses 10% of powers for a specified period. Or if team wins mission SG gains temp power for a week. Combinations like that that impact the entiure group.
6) Ability for leaders to tell/ e-mail captains only. Give out private orders without having to write the same message again and again and again and...
7) More flexibility of message of the day. It is insufficent in every way.
8) Ability to actually create afiliated groups. And to be able to communicate with or look at online roster of affliated groups.
9) A count on roster list. Who else counts down their list every day to see how many members they have at a given time?
10) Special colour coding for different ranks oif members eg, new members 1 colour, members who have been in legion a certain time another colour etc. Just to help identify whos who.
11) Leaders should have access to special information to help them identify various issues. I`m currently asking my captains to to a daily count of how many members marker says "today". So we can identify the true activety of the group. This and other info should be available to the leaders.
Many more, some of which will be covered in Arena and CoV.
Being able to sort by who is on-line
Some of these have been said by others, but I will add my whole list in here that I would like to see...
1.) The ability to email ALL SG members in game with one email instead of each member at a time.
2.) The ability to change SG colors without having to Disband the SG and recreate it.
3.) A standard SG uniform that when you ckick "Enter SG Mode" it changes your costume to the SG costume.
4.) More than 75 members. Or the ability to break the SG into 2 small groups but under the same SG that has 75 members each or whatever.
5.) The ability to change the SG motto to what you want at anytime since group goals may change over time.
6.) SG Specific Story lines, so that if you are required to team with someone for a mission, it would have to be a SG mate (might be really hard to do though, so I'm not holding my breath on it...)
7.) Make the SG symbol a shoulder patch or small crest on the left upper side of chest instead of taking up the whole center of the chest.
8.) A bank for SG members to access a central Influence pool through the SG setting menu or something.
That is my list I can think of right now.
Thanks for asking States!
- Ability to demote yourself
- Ability to promote/demote heroes who are offline
- Ability to demote/remove leaders who have been offline for more than 30 days (could be 60, or 90)
- Ability to change SG colors and logo after SG creation
- Show if a SG-mate is currently teamed or not
Special missions for super groups is a good one.
I'd like to see some reason to form a super group and keep active in it other than the future PvP aspects. Right now it's a fine friend's list.
If there were story arcs that you could only access through a special super group terminal, it would be fantastic. These could be missions that require a group to complete, and it could make each SG more unique. Perhaps they might even culminate in a final battle royale of an instanced mission that requires multiple teams to even be able to participate? Something like a PvE base raid (not every SG will want to do PvP).
If said feature is put into the game, then some sort of document that tracks the history of the SG would be nice. SG souvenirs that can be put on display at the base, for instance.
It would also work well if there was some sort of log on each member of the super group. It might show badges, powers, souvenirs and their bio, for instance? This could be something you access back at the base. Maybe it would even be a good place to have a second bio, one that relates to the SG and how your character ended up as a member.
An information center would also be a great thing to have for your SG. You could keep logs on PvP players/SGs as well as PvE mobs that you've fought, with possible strategies against them. This could be something of a wiki-pedia-style board that can be accessed through a computer terminal in your base. When you've defeated something, you should get them added into the wiki-pedia and then your SG could comment on it. So, for the case of a PvE battle, if you fight EnemyX, then a picture of EnemyX is added to your tomes of knowledge with his known powers and bio. Then when you search on EnemyX before a battle with him, you'd see that info, as well as any comments people who have defeated him in the past have made. The same could be true about any of the PvE creature types as well as AVs.
So yeah, more use for an SG than just a good place to find a team.
Ok here is what I would like:
A Super Group tab in each players info that you can click on that tells basic info of the SG he or she is in. Most importantly who the Leader or leaders of said group are.
A linkage of a main group to alt groups in another way than just using global chat.
More ranks
Seperate leadership channels.
Contacts, missions, villains that are SG specific. Say a elite boss is assigned to a SG and there is a chance he could show up in any given mission requiring aid from the SG.
Wow.. got all ready to go through my litany of things I want to see.. but everyone's covered them 10 fold! Glad to see we're all on the same SG page.
One thing I'd like to add: SG Stats on the CoH Website.
Lets get CoH's DB's posting current rosters, ranking of individuals in the sg, etc..give the SG's a page of their own that they can set to have the MoTD display on it and allow the SG to put their website link on it.

1) Super Group contacts and thereby, Super Group missions. Any contact could give these missions when they become available (i.e. special missions that are either unique via a mission creator or rare).
2) Super Group villian choice, so that the Super Group can select a group which they oppose, maybe tied back to 1).
3) Super Group prestige, much like individual character influence. Who knows your group, what has it done for the city as a whole, and what favors can you pull in for the group?

I would like to Ditto these above statements for my own. Also, the Email SG option will be a must!
