The Kudos Thread

Alright, so now that we've got five pages, who's gonna go e-mail the Warcry people with the message "Five pages, [insert expletive of choice here]!"

Five pages is just a start, I hope. If we can't find 5-10 kudos to post a day for the next few weeks, we're pathetic.
Last night I joined a new SG, and chatted with my new SG mates in the chat channel like crazy tonight. It was really nice. There's a kudo.
But before then I was making binds for my character. I was binding emotes and says to my attacks and it was a blast! The bind system in this game is GREAT. Thanks devs. My toon seems so much more real and fun now.
Yes, thank you for destroying every other aspect of my life.
j/k
thanks mostly for the char creation tool, that sold me too, but also thanks for great game play, fun missions, badges, a great community, no lag, and getting me back into comics.
*fancy bow*
Kudos Bump.
Best MMORPG I've had in years. Beats AC, EQ, E&B, and DAoC. I've had them all and CoH is the best play.
Cheers!
I got Evil Genius for christmas, and ended up uninstalling it. It wasn't because I didn't like it; on the contrary, it's a very fun game. However, it was just too easy to spend hours and hours on it without realising it, and I just felt so isolated without having buddies to chat with.
Thank you, Cryptic, for making a game that can truly leave me satisfied without destroying my life.
Just wait for CoV Sik, you can be evil and chat too
Thanks for letting us look forward to updates and expansions without fearing what their release will be like Cryptic.
Thank you for giving me the chance to be a hero. I love this game and I think you Devs do a great job!

Gotta add in my praise here for the devs!
I'll admit, way back in March when we first started looking into this game, we thought it would be a fun time killer while waiting for WoW or EQ2... well, those are out now, and we ain't moving anywhere.
This game has got us hooked like nothing before, and it's amazing fun, all cause of the awesome devs that are able to communicate with the community as well as they do, and be able to give us free expansions just for playing... it's insane, and I LOVE it!
Thanks again devs, and keep up the amazing work!!
Here here!
A series of kudos goes to the talent and dedication to all the CoH teams!
Kudos to the dream that became our City of Heroes.
Kudos to CuppaJo for her jovial manner, her own dedication, and the balance to which she chooses to use her own powers here. Also kudos to all the mods of these fine forums.
Kudos to the team leads that post for the information they share, their uncanny ability to keep every response professional, their wit and humour and, of course, for their will to keep this game the best out there.
Kudos to all the employees that we never hear from that likely work their butts off to do their best to keep their bosses and us happy.
Kudos to the NCSoft CSR team both ingame and out. You guys are the best CS group I've encountered online or off.
Kudos to all the posters that make this one of the funnest, most giving and forgiving, community in any online game.
Sure you can say it... I'm biased.
Kudos to the players for keeping CoH alive among countless games, both online and off, on the market.
Kudos, CoH, kudos.
Kudos to a Dev team that puts all the others to shame. After playing SWG, and seeing some of the comments from developers there -- and DAoC, which was actually worse, I never thought I'd see the day when Devs actually participated as part of the community they'd created. That in itself is a pretty amazing thing.
Kudos to the GMs and customer service crew, who I've found to be prompt, courteous, and willing to help far beyond what I expect from just about any business, let alone an MMO.
Huge kudos to the writers! I may not be a big fan of the comic book (although it's improved hugely, in this last issue), but for the first time in an MMO I'm actively enjoying reading the mission descriptions -- and the story arcs? Your Praetorian and alternate-dimensions have me racing back for more.
While we're at it, kudos for taking the time off to spend the holidays with your families. Time that was *richly* deserved.
Edit: Almost forgot -- kudos for making an MMO that the casual player can actually enjoy. We've been the ignored market for years, and you've certainly proven wrong all the folks who said that it simply didn't exist. Huge thanks, for that.
I'd like to say thanks a million for letting me have one of the best experiences I've ever had in a game. Nothing beats the feeling of meeting one of your friends online, awing at how awesome their hero looks, and then beating up the bad guys with the power of team work. You gave me a nice break from console games when I really needed them, and I even when I think I've burned out on CoH for good, I remember the awesome times I had and can't help but keep paying for another month. Kudos to you States, you've created something better than you realize.
I'd like to say a big thankyou to the COH staff for being well...super, statesman and the rest seem to retain some of their alter-ego's super powers and bring them back to the development process, thank you for all your patience, and hard work, and for putting up with all of us! Sorry if this is incoherrent, i've already started celebrating New Years, and thought to hop on before i went out the door, P.S. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS GAME POSSIBLE!
A thousand thanks would not suffice to express my gratitude and enthusiasm for this game and Dev Team.
Excellence all round!
Happy New Year, guys and gals at Cryptic and NCsoft.

Thanks for the little things, Devs, like the fixes to the SG menu and getting the door bug out. Thanks for the medium things, like making sure you've got competent in-game support that's awesome 9 times out of 10, and posting on the boards so much. Thanks for the big things, like putting out an MMORPG that isn't just a re-hash, and for giving free content and planning for CoV to be part of the package.
Thanks!
Thank you for a great game, easy soloing and teaming, immersive and well-written storylines, great GMs that actually help out and are not ban-happpy *cough*SWG*cough*, letting me play a superhero and actually getting it right, allowing diversity in the way characters look by actually doing away with the stupid concept of loot that makes everyone look alike, the most robust character generator ever, the ability to jump on for twenty minutes and actually do a mission or two for those of us with limited gaming times, the incredibly responsive devs (even when the response isn't necessarily the one we had lobbied for---better a "no" than no answer at all!), incredibly nice and helpful (if sometimes cryptic hardy har har) devs, and damn near a thousand other things I'm missing.
Oh, and thanks a lot for giving me carpal tunnel by making such a great game j/k ... I gave it to myself through enjoyment
I'll still be here long after City of Villains has been expanded by City of Vehicles, City of Robots, City of Spacetravel, and the oft-lamented City of Uberness roll out in the next twenty years
Thank you for letting me feel powerful when I fight by myself and even stronger when I'm in a group. And before I forget, thanks for letting me look how I want to look at the start of the game instead of the end after countless hours of hunting/farming.
Here's to the CoH team!

My first thought was that the devs are going to have a whole lot of granola bars at their offices when they got back. Turns out it was people thanking the devs for all their hard work and dedication they make to make this the best MMORPG out there. Thanks for all the hard work.

I'd like to thank Cryptic for making this game. It's one I've found more immersive than any other game ever, and it's worth the money. CoH wins some kind of prize for being the first game for which I'm willing to spend money beyond buying the cardboard box and maybe a month or two of gaming. This game has held my attention for more time than I'd originally imagined.
I'd like to thank them also for taking those alleged 100 page of complaints per 5 of compliment and sifting well. It's the most responsive dev team I've ever seen, not just on the boards, but in the quality of the periodic content upgrades as well. My enjoyment is so severe that I bought a whole new desktop to facilitate smoother graphics. (Okay, there are side benefits to that, but buying it for this game has got to count for something!)
Hard to believe playing a superhero can be so entertaining to a so-called grown-up.
Happy New Year!
Thank you, Cryptic and NCSoft, for giving me the chance to live out my childhood fantasies of donning tights and fighting crime. BIFF! POW! BAM!
Thank you Cryptic for making a MMO game that breaks the norm, for no loot. For creating a MMO game that someone like me who hates MMos got hooked into. And for finally allowing me to create a kung fu but kicker, even thou it took a few months for balancing issues
well this is more of a bump than naything else but it is a thank you dev's bump.
so with out further delay
^------bump-----^
Thank you for building up my hopes so since the summer of '02, only to deliver in spades!
Thanks to the Devs, For the best game I've EVER played.
Thanks to the people who inhabit it, for .... uh .... well... for being anything, from GREAT players to absolute @sses!
Cheers!
Kudos for not making me change my board name!
Thank you for shameless bumps!
And no loot! For the community is better that way!
Dunno. But someone should!
