Definately include my vote of thanks and appreciation for this game. It's great entertainment, and has allowed me to get revenge on all of my friends who suckered me into playing Everquest :P (They all play CoH now, after I suckered them into it)

Best of all, thanks to the developers for being good people. How they can read these boards and still keep their sanity is beyond me. Keep it up guys, the only thing worse than people complaining is when nobody even shows up to complain.

Yes thank you statesman for being a complete chump. Fifteen dollars a month for this great game? Statesman you sir are being ripped off by me on this point alone. Eight slots (twice that of EQ2) per sever are you kidding? O and get this statesman you give away huge content upgrades for free, yep that’s right for free! Surely you must be an incompetent [Censored]not notice that your company is doing this. No business man in his right mind gives anything away for free there is always a catch. A whole new AT for free? You flipping idiot seek help now sir!

As if this wasn’t enough you went and wrote a whole page explaining the changes you made to a certain power set. I have never in my life seen a letter written to costumers by a high level executive of a large company. You sure have broken the rule of bureaucracy. Responding to customer questions? No self respecting company responds to questions that are not raised by some element of state or federal government. Telling the customers what you are changing? My insurance company won’t even tell me what they are changing regarding my own coverage! All and all you have clearly gone nuts.

Cryptic staff working over the holidays? Maybe you are so gullible as to let CappaJoe and Gilgmesh con you into paying them countless gold bars a day for each holiday that they worked? To Quote The Princesses’ Bride “Inconceivable!” Only a true utter [Censored] would do such a thing, but then again you did give stuff away for FREE. Yes sir thank you for all the hard work. (SUCKER)

On a similar note, thanks for being cuatious with Issue 3s release. You really took the lesson of Issue 2s release to heart and that's a great thing.

Also, thanks for being such a good team that the initial rollout and issue 1 set incredibly high standards for rollouts in the first place. Other MMOs have chronic issues worse than the worst problem I've ever seen in CoH!

thank you devs, for taking the time to post on these boards... i dont think many people realize how lucky we are to have devs that actually interact with the community... a major plus and one of the reasons I love this game...

I have to say this is my first online gaming experience and it has been great. There have been some rough times, mainly when people start complaining, that make me want to go offline again, but they are vastly outweighed by the sheer enjoyment I get from the stories, gameplay, and friends in this game. I was initially hesitent to get a game I had to continue paying for after the initial cost, and told myself "I'll give this game four months". That was back in May about a week or so after launch, so...

Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see some story progression in the shadow shard!

I could go on and on about the little points of the game I like, but I have other things to do. RL calls me, I ignore most the time (usually with CoH).

As a first time MMO player, thank you for getting me into the genre which otherwise I wouldn't have.

As a longtime gamer, comic collector and general superhero fan, really, love the game. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Also, I'm not on the forums as much as some people (except for the next few days :P. No offense though, I love you guys!) but I definitely appreciate the feedback and honesty, even if it's cryptic, you give us.

And hoorah to smooth launches! Smooth release, smooth updates. I just tried out Saga of Ryzom, which really isn't a bad game, and during my 14 day trial a patch went live. They had to delay it a day because of many many bugs, which were still occurring after they let it live again. So thank you for doing a great job and for really doing a good job when you say you will.

And thanks for letting me live childhood dreams. No no, not playing as a girl, but being a superhero .

Thanks for daring to do something *different* devs

No phat loot, no incentive to KS, interesting stuff to do from the moment you create your character, the SK/RSK system, a test-server, actual two-way interaction between the players and devs on the boards...

...all things that set CoH apart from it's peers imho. So again, a big thanks to the developers, story guys, community reps et al, and all the best to all of them all for 2005.

I tried 2 other MMORPGs - (can I name them? AC and AO...) - and this is by far the best, IMO. No server crashes, no annoying gameplay issues, just as fun for the casual gamer as the power-gamer, just as fun for the loner as the grouper...

I could go on, but ... yeah, what they said, Kudos!

Thank you for being involved and caring about your community and your creation. It really shines through how much work and effort has been put into the game as I play through it.

Thank you especially for the huge month-to-month updates that you keep sending my way, assuring that I'll never tire of the game.. =) Every update I go through is mindboggling with content.. ^^

Hey guys, thanks for adding to my list of addictions.
Thanks for making a super hero game that is worthy of the actual magic behind this type of fiction. The character generator was the selling feature for me and is what makes me the altaholic I am today.

Just wanted to post an example I have of why the support staff for this game ROCKS!

Two days ago I had a mission given to me in Bricks, I went to DA ready to tear through it and get another. The mission was to find 10 boxs in a hugh COT style map. No problem I thought, well...... About 45 minutes later, I had all the mobs dead, the entire map revealed, and 9 of 10 boxs found. Figured I must have missed it somewhere and I went searching for it. Four hours later I finally gave up and logged for the night (pretty tired and a bit annoyed).

The next day I went right back to it. The mission was reset, so I figured I'd get it this time. Same result as the previous night, 9 of 10 again. Spent 3 hours searching, logged, logged back on, did the mission a third time. Same result. Now I'm just over 10 hours in just searching for this darn mystrey box I keep missing.

Before I sent a /petition, /bug report I wanted to be as sure as I could that it wasn't me. By now, I am pretty sure. I sent my reports up and hoped I might hear back. It was only around 15 minutes after my report went up that I got a tell from GM_Eric. He asked the problem, went into the mission, found the box (behind a wall, and impossible for me to get to), ported me to it, and all was well. (I was relieved that it wasn't just something I had missed)

Anyway, I know all responses aren't always this fast. In some MMO's though it's amazing to get a response days or weeks later. I've been impressed with this game and it's staff from the start.

Keep up the awsome work guys/ gals!!! We truely thank you for it!!

I must say, as I have said before. This game has the finest developer team, with the best player cimmunication I have ever heard of in an MMO. I love the fact that the devs refuse to put anything out until it works properly. I have also noted with great admiration that the customer support staff is top notch - corteous, friendly and very helpful.

KUDOS COH!
