Thank you Statesman for keeping us up to date on upcoming changes.

As my main is a Mind Controller I do have to say [censored] in regards to number 17 saying no additional changes for Mind Control.

I mean really? Have you guys even played a Mind Controller post 32 and compared it to any of the other controllers post 32? Thank you for saying that my class sucks...why don't ya stick it is and break it off too...

Sure, Mind Control can solo...slowly but consistantly, but compare the soloing with the other pet-trollers and you will see QUITE a difference...

Because of this I have finally rerolled my controller...34 levels of mind control down the tubes...thanks for nothing...

Am I bitter? No, I passed bitter a long time ago...

1) Blasters don't need status protection. Why would you be anything else if you didn't have to worry about being mezzed/held? Blasters should have no defenses. They destroy enemies. If blasters get defense, I want my controller to have damage abilities.

I have very little damage at level 32 with my Singularities. Granted it's more than I had, it doesn't match anything else. But then again, if you want defense at 32, and your 32 power is dropped, fine by me.

I note that you are answering the concerns and wishes of many players about armor sets (appearance etc.)

What about Earth Controller graphics? Will you be answering the many suggestions to improve the Earth Controller graphics and the Earth Pet Graphics? Hate always seeing terms like "poo" thrown at us. LOL

I'm possibly too late here but have you looked at any of the threads about Gravity Controllers in the Controller forum? Is there any chance that there will be any changes to gravity to bring its control ability up to match the other controllers?

1. Will the "double penalty" for energy blasts and other multi-type attacks vs. forcefields be addressed anytime soon or is this intended?

2. Can you give any additional information as to why supergroup sizes are fixed at 75 since you have identified that as not changing?

3. Any thoughts about "quality of life" touches to the SG list to include: resizable fields, ability to remove leaders who are inactive, to promote/demote folks who are offline, a "notes" or "comment" field, color/emblem changes, showing current zone/archetype/level along with other fields, etc.?

4. Any possibility of getting the friends list maximum size expanded, some way of sorting it based on how long since a friend was last on if not so we can better decide which old friend to clear out for a new one, and a comment field of some kind?

5. Any possibility of getting a passive hasten-like power added to something like the fitness pool? (akin to how swift/hurdle are weaker versions of superspeed and combat jumping.)

Does this include powers such as burn, ignite, rain of fire, and caltrops? It seems to me that this would make them a tad too powerful, and by "a tad too powerful" I mean "completely brokenly unbalanced"

Statesman, a quick question.

Awhile ago (2 months?) the question of moving heros between servers was brought up, and you said you thought it was important, and that it would happen. I haven't heard anything on the subject for several weeks.

Can you give us a status update? Will we see this important feature in Issue 3? If not, any timetable?

This is a good way to not have your question answered. Seriously, keep the question simple, with little expressed emotion (anger) and I'm sure you'll get the answer you want. Right now all you'll get is the answer you deserve.

Statesman, will we ever have the opportunity to move enhancements from a slot in a power to another slot in that same power? I like to have my enhancements look the same in all my powers. and would like to be able to move them within the power. I'm not looking to combine them when they are already taking up two slots, just move them around. Will this ever be an option? Thanks

And this is why Cryptic is, and is going to continue to be, successful. I would much rather hear constant updates even if things change from update to update. "Hey, we tried X, and it's not working well so we're going to have to think of something else." That's far, far better than "... <chirp> ..." which is what customers hear from most game studios.

Does not measure up to invunerable. It is better then SR.
I'd say pick one to be a baseline then adjust the others to meet it in ability level.

IMHO, regen is just right. If you want to adjust regen then adjust Moment of Glory down some more. Not like anyone take it anyway. Nothing like a power set with a useless top power.

I was wondering the was a mention of customizable weapons a while back guns, axes. etc... Is that still in the works for down the road or is that another feature coming in update #3?

Could you please tell us whether or not there are any Defender issues on the radar, either short or long term? Not so much about the AT as a whole, but rather about individual set balance/utility issues.

Specifically, could we please see at some point an analysis or explanation for the perceived weakness of Psi Blast with respect to the other defender blast sets? (4 out of 9 powers - "Mental Blast", "Subdue", "Psionic Tornado", "Scramble Thoughts" - rated poor to fair, a higher number, I conclude, than any other blast set. This is arguable of course.)

How about the lack of personal utility (notice I don't say soloability) of the FF and Empathy sets as opposed to the other primaries? Any thoughts on that?

I already asked this in another thread, but... How about the new power sets, Magnetism in particular, can you give us any heads up on whats coming? And what about new costume options *cough* witch hats *cough*?


Come on devs, art guys, where is my Maid costume for my characters! 5 years now, its a simple request.

Since there's no chance for cutscenes, is there any chance that this great idea of a post-mission wrap-up pop-up could be implemented, especially for team members who don't own the mission?

Stateman, if you are answering questions then what about your thoughts on Hasten? Do you think it is too powerful, are you monitoring/analysing it? If you don't think there is a problem with it, do you have any issues with certain powers from power pools becoming so widespread that almost everyone has them? (stamina/hasten) Do you believe them being so widespread is simple a symptom of a differant problem, such as endurance and long recharge rates (espiecally for certain AT's like controllers)

Really I just want to hear your thoughts on the situation as a whole, and what your position is on them.

1) Are there any plans to make the Contacts list easier to manage? At early levels it's not so bad, but when you start getting a few dozen contacts, it starts to get bad.

I mentioned an idea a while back about making the contacts list contain tabs much like the Badges list. One tab would be for contacts that you are completely finished with. Another tab would be for contacts who still have missions and/or new contacts for you. The third tab would be for those contacts who you are currently on a mission for.

Something along those lines would make contact organization much easier.

2) The other question I have is one that I'm sure you get a lot. The ability to move a character from one server to another?

hey, statesman. some time ago, it was proposed that black hole from the dark miasma set would be turned into a toggle, instead of a click power. has this been worked on, and if so, will it be in issue 3?
