You do realise that the pets only have to be within supremacy range for Bodyguard to work, right? Select a target , hit "attack my target", wait a second for the animations to begin, hit your "follow, defensive" button. POOF, concentrated fire and Bodyguard.

And you simply need ... well ... to be in range to hit your own minions with Alkaloid.

[/ QUOTE ]In PVP I usually stay well out of Supremacy range, with stealth activated, so they can't see me, but my pets are beating the crap out of them.

I'm only seeing this power usefull for alpha strikes, it's gonna be useless if you are attacked by multiple people. You will survive the attacks, but your pets are going to be going nuts deciding who to attack. Which is why you would need to use the attack my target command, which would drop Bodyguard. So if you want to be protected again, you would have to put it back up, which would have your pets scrambling around attacking multiple targets. Again this is if you are attacked by multiple people. I don't need that, Ninja can't kill like that. They all need to attack the same target and drop them fast.

I'm just not seeing Bodyguard working as they say it will. But we will have to see.

Defensive works like this: Your pets will not attack mobs unless attacked first. If a foe attacks them, they retaliate. If a foe attacks YOU, all of your pets aggro on that foe and attack. If you're under fire, Bodyguard will help keep you alive while your pets neutralize the threat. If you're not under fire, YOU DON'T NEED BODYGUARD.

You should really go back and check some of the posts you skipped. "A few more hits" may be higher than you think, according to the math, which is showing MMs suriving 2500 damage worth of AoEs.

I have all my ninja goto, and attack my target, otherwise they are all over the place attacking individual targets, or attacking at range, with their craptastic bows, and shuriken. So if using the attack my target command pulls them out of this defensive mode, its worthless.

So basicly what you are saying is, that if we don't do anything and just stand there, we will be protected. If we actually try and fight, we will be cut down, in pvp just as easy as we already are...

I already knew I was gonna pick Ghost Widow, now I know my mastermind will have her signature power. It will be kinda cool. But there should have been a little bit more variety, instead of, you are this AT if you choose this person, you get to choose from these 4 powers.

I was all excited to read about something new, and it was nothing but a letter.
