Is there any chance that D/D Defenders will be given some sort of status protection? Every single other defender class has a status protection or two in their arsenal, DDD have nothing. Even if you could just add sleep/hold resistance to SF... I know that a single-target buff is completely anti the theme of DDD, but adding some sort of buff to SF wouldn't be. I'm very tired of seeing my party and myself get chain-mezzed and not being able to do anything about it... EVERY other defender can.

this is no real biggie, but maybe allow more space for the character bios.

there are several characters that i've had to cut stuff out in order to say as much as i can given the limit to the charatcer bio. and i don't want a huge amount of space, just maybe enough to fit in 1-3 more ten word sentences. i don't want to write novels for the characters, but i also don't want to write on the level of a 4th grader either.

this would just be aesthetic

Sorry for posting the same question twice, I just realized I posted this in the “yes we’re working on it…” thread and things have moved here. Now I feel like I’m doing my “hay Spike” impression trying to get attention but here goes…

I have seen many a player post on this but have not seen any official word. Is it true that we will soon be able to adjust our powers appearance, be it just color effects or the look for those with weapons?

Could you please suggest an expansion to the Paragon Tram? It seems to be missing a key location...Founders Falls! The hub of commerce for half our hero origins!

It's been discussed at length several times...

The results of the discussions?

The lazy want a tram everywhere... Those who love Founder's don't want the tram there.

The story behind it, if I'm not mistaken, is this is where the war walls are weakest, it's the oldest section of town, it's close to the only end-game raid zone, etc. etc. etc.

Historically, if I remember correctly, the Tram wasn't built until after Rikti War. Any Hazard Zone, or Rikti-populated zones, don't have trams.

This is what is funny about the destruction of Baumton, as noted by some...that it has ruined Tram lines...when it was destroyed before the Tram system was put in.

It's part of the story, plain and simple. I sure don't want to see one go in just to satisfy the lazy [censored] in this game...

I wouldn't mind at least seeing another enterance from another zone added to Founder's to cut back on all the traffic going in and out of Talos. Maybe this will be the new zone.

Blizzard is quite an effective power when you combine it with a tank who has provoke.

Awww ... Actually, with the fear change, mind should be ok now with AoE's (I hope). I like the improvements, but I still think it would be nice if u guys reduced the activation times for TK and confuse. Being rooted to the ground especially makes TK harder to use as a good control tool because the enemies start to spread out and fall out of the cone. It's a very situational power and is difficult to use in open space.

I like confuse, but I think the long activation time makes a somewhat unpopular control tool even less likely to be used by those that don't think it's worth taking. Anyhoo, I kinda like the devs vision for mind control. The aggroless powers gives us the option of being like puppetmasters and masterminds, pulling the strings and controlling the battle undetected by the enemy. Fits well with the idea of "mind control".

statesman, u truly are the man, i have a question about SG's though, like one sg im in has 2 people of the highest rank havent been on for over 70 days, there should be a way to kick them, by either support request, or allowing others of the highest rank to do so.

yes i would also like to know about this, what i am thinking is maybe, say for swords, change the color, maybe even size, style, not effecting the gameplay at all, but just for appearence. also haveing like blue fire, or yellow electricity would be very cool.

also another thing i have wondered about for awhile, is like when u activate a power in the energy manip/melee, or fire blast sets, your hands change, like ur hands catch on fire for a sec, even if there isnt a valid target nearby, i think it would be cool if it did the same for Dark melee, ice, electricty.
Am i the only one who thinks this would be cool, and has it been discussed at all?

Hi Statesman, 3questions:

You will add to the game capes like that of Doc Strange Cape or like that of Batman, i explain better, a cape that reach the ground and cover the chest of our toons, and will you add more military skins like the flack 1 and 2 or bulletproof jackets like that of the Riot Guard of Crey industries?

Well, even after you said that flight wasn't going to be looked, i must ask again if it'll EVER be looked... fly is already the slowest travel power, the most endurance consuming one, and we still have the bonus of the -acc? are you really not going to look upon this?

Earth control and the storm secondary for controllers...


Will they be looked at/tweaked? graphically or stat wise? (I'd like better looking holds =P)

Any plans on changing earthquake to just plain vanilla flavored knockdown for all mobs? And are tornado and thunderstorm going to be looked at? (Tornado is a bit chaotic and has iffy range AI, Thunderstorm has wicked knockback)

And gale accuracy, I know it's a purely situational thing, but it kind of sucks to only blow back ONE thing that's chargeing you while your health is in the can. (and this is with an accuracy SO) Is it bugged or am I doing something wrong?

And lastly, costume pieces... Will we ever see transparent goggles/visors? Or any costume pieces with animated textures? I can't perfect my WWII flying ace guy without goggles, and the moving texture idea would rock for my tech heroes.

States, thanks for the updates on what's going on. Tankers don't have to do as much damage as a Scrapper, but it'd be nice if they did more or something...

Please examine the balance of Psychic Blast - Mental Blast, Subdue, Scramble Mind, and to a lesser extent Psy Tornado, as all four powers are infamously inconsistant with balance norms of other equivalent powers and generally poor. Advice is typically "Don't get Subdue, ever, and don't waste a single slot on Psi Blast - EVEN IF YOU'RE MAKING A HEAVILY OFFENSIVE CHARACTER." Tornado's end cost seems unusually high, and Scramble seems like an unusually weak effect for an 8th tier power.


A no attack "Group-Friendly" Defender is like a "Team Friendly" basketball player who won't dribble, run, or shoot, under any circumstances. "I'm a PASSER."
