I think I've read most of the 20 pages and I have to say that I love you Statesman. Your updates make me seek out my girlfriend, who is also addicted to CoH, and share all the good news. My only question is when should we expect a Features Update, update? It'd be really neat to see actual details on some of the new content for Issue 3.

Any chance of increasing the following Kinetics power durations (preferably to 2 minutes instead of 1)?
Increase Density
Inertial Reduction
Also, any thought to the difficulty of keeping a large team speed boosted?
(Duration, again, 4 minutes instead of 2 would be lovely!)

Last night I sidekicked with my roommate.
She was 32 and I was therefore 31.
Why was she getting 700 XP for +3 mobs and I was getting 350 for +4?
Is the intent of the new sidekick system that you get half the XP of your mentor? I don't recall reading that anywhere. I didn't even know there was a new SK system.
Statesman, you have spoke time and again about risks and rewards.
If my partner in a duo is +1 level aboveme, so she is fighting +3 mobs and I am fighting +4 mobs why would I get less XP?
My risk is greater...but my reward is 2x less?!

That's my feeling, too. Sometimes I don't know anything more definite than "we're going to address it sometime..." There's ALOT of people working on City of Heroes, and sometimes I post just keep the forum readers in the loop. Maybe the person responsible for the tweak/change isn't around when I'm typing - or maybe we haven't set up a meeting yet for a final decision. No great conspiracy or anything - I just like telling you guys what I know.

Because the exp scales to your actual level.
Becoming level 31 via SK doesn't give you a level 31's exp.
You get the same reward you would get if you fought an actual level +4 opponent.
IE, if you are 16 SK to 31, you kill a 35, you get exp for a 20.

I've taken to making *all* of my alts Natural, just so I can remember where the stores are (and even then, it ends up being a treasure hunt)
Question/Suggestion: If you put the stores on the map, could you add the feature so that when you mouseover it, you get the support-type? (i.e. float over Cookes Electronics and you'd see Nat/Tech, Mag/Tech, training, or something similar ?

WHAT! I bought this game because it was pve.
First you gimp supergroups to 75 because of PVP battles, now I can't get a bases without being forced to buy a pvp expansion.

the Bugs any chance we can PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE NAV BAR MISSION SELECTION. since Beta ive sent in petitions i set the mission it shows up in the Nav bar 20 seconds later its gone. it happens everyday and all i get from the Devs is that its a known problem. on task force only the leaders bar when it does work tell us how many people still to rescue. how many computers are left etc.

OMH yes, what MasterHung said! I am SOOO sick of spending the first 2 mins of every mission turning on all my freakin toggles while everyone is already ready to go. Having just one of them be auto would be nice and cut on the END cost a bit
and maybe, JUST MAYBE, if the DA set was redone correctly we DA users wouldnt be required to have Tough and Weave (I can get by w/o acrobatics but I think I deserve a badge for the sheer number of times Ive been knocked on my [censored]) AND fully slot them JUST to have a slim chance of staying alive.
If and I do say IF that happened then we could get rid of 2 more toggles leaving Tough and Weave for the more fragile classes to take to bolster their defenses, the way it was meant to be......a scrapper should already but kinda tough and errr.....weavey?
Some I'd like answered...
1) While SG size won't be increased will SGs see better functionality any time soon? (ownership? color change? location? level? status tells ala friends list?)
2) Will the melee fix (here) be for all melee (as in blasters have melee too)? Or will it be more junk fixes like Hurricane?
3) Functionality so that a team can follow a story/mission better then just the leader or individual with the mission?
4) Will clicking the "i" (for info) on a completed mission ever NOT kick you out of the mission? (I see a ton of people make this mistake over and over)
5) Will we ever be able to see our influence count anywhere outside of the ID screen and stores?
6) Will we ever see the origins for enhancements listed in their bubble windows? (right now its only in their info window)
Why are all the save the lawyer missions in Buildings? Seems to me the better place to find lawyers would be in one of those cave missions where you turn over a rock to get in...

If you add tanker damage will you add defender damage?
My one question:
If SR does end up needing changes, is it likely that you will make changes to the actual effects of some powers (such as swapping out the AE defense powers for something else and putting attaching the AE defense to existing powers) or are we more likely to see "behind the scenes" effectivness changes?
Also, thank you for taking time out to keep us informed. That fear change in particular looks very nice and will open up some powers on some characters that I wanted but didn't pick up due to effectiveness. The players who don't appreciate this dev team don't know what they've got.

I think the best proposed solution to this was to have the 75 character limit become a 75 account limit. So if I have myself and 7 alts in the SG it only counts as one because the most I could have on is 1.
Currently, if everyone in the SG has 7 alts, the most people that could be online at one time in the SG is 11 (that poor guy with only 5 alts and 10 others). If you change it to use the account as the limiting factor then we could have 75 people on at any given time.

Well, after 20 pages someone had to say what I was gonig to say. I understand the reasons behind the 75 character limit to Super Groups, but also feeel it a bit restrictive.
Is the a reason other than "privacy" that accounts cannot be added to SG rather than Characters? In effect, it will work exactly the same. It is a physical impossability to have two characters from the same account logged on at the same time, therefore no "uber guild" dominating the field, no overly massive battles between huge SG's because they are still limited to the same 75 people online (which I gather is the reason for the 75 member cap).

Here are a few questions for you:
1. When will the updated Player's Guide pdf be available for download?
2. I know there is an updated City map included in the DVD. Any chance we can get a downloadable version of it? Or better yet, could it be included in a future issue of the comic? (Loose in the wrapper, not stapled in)
3. Can you take a look at the endurance drain on Hot Foot? It seems a bit excessive, especially when compared to the end drain on Arctic Air.
4. There is a 5th Column base with a specific room that generates massive lag. The room has three floors, you enter at the center floor, and there are four large square pools of water. There is a staircase in the center that leads up. This room needs work. Everytime I've been in this particular room, everyone on the team complains about the lag they experience. I've sent a few petitions on it.
5. Any chance of ever teaming up with you and doing a few missions? I'll exemp you if you've got debt.

I hope this covers Tfs. Currently, the way exmemplars get immediatly kicked off TF with any Ld from him or the partner, or the way you can't do TFs in 2 steps, is very unfriendly. Consider a system to lock a player in exemplar mode once he joins a TF.
Also, about the fear thing, please, make sure you test the powers in Presence. Invoke Panic really looks like it has ZERO affect most of the time. The very very short PBAoE range and the fact that a mob flees about 5% of time and then it still shoots you really makes it teh worst power ever.
Any chance of adding a post mission screen that shows kill, power use, death, damage given and taken, team stats ect.. It would be kind cool to know how some of these stats pan out in missions. Would really be handy if you have a large team to make sure people are pulling weight!
I actually think that tank and defender damage is good as-is. Any higher and then you are getting into scrapper/blaster damage which I don't think is fair to scrappers/blaster in that tanks/defenders usually have my utility for better survivability.
BUT. I'm all for more damage potential for tanks/defenders if it will can be done in away that doesn't offset the current balance with scrappers/defenders.
One AT that needs to be looked at in terms of damage is controllers. Wow, what a tough one there.
Anyone think that the changes to fear are a bad thing? It will give anyone a AOE hold because of the presence power pools. This means scrappers and blasters could have a fairly good AOE hold. Not sure I like that idea very much. What would be the role of contollers at that point?
Are you guys ever going to allow AR Blasters the permanent use of Rikti Rifles? Energy Damage w/ a side of Stun? The same AR Blast Powers, Burst, Slug, Full Auto etc. or is that too much?
