I don't need EM for scrappers, but I DO want Stone Melee.

The updater can resume an interrupted download, so just restart it and it will pick up where it left off. Hopefully you don't need to restart it too often.

To me, that sounds like a rootkit. The people that are working on your computer, have they used a rootkit scanner? -
F_M_J he said his external HD and even Flashdrive are affected. I don't know about you, but that's where my backups are.

Yes, I was surprised and killed by a lone sapper once.

A work around is to /leaveteam when you die. You exit the map, go to hospital, then rejoin the team.
I prefer to fight the jailers myself though. -

Are you getting an error message? If you are getting could not connect error maybe you are having some ports blocked.

This is not true for tanks, at level 40 and by just doing normal (no TFs) content, my Shield/Stone Melee tank is soft capped for melee and ranged with AoE at 39%. I can see it being true for Brutes and Scrappers since you have lower numbers to start with.

[/ QUOTE ] You do realize that with no teammates its giving you 5% for a tank 3.75% for a scrapper or brute? That's not insignificant when added to your existing defense. -

This worries me because jkkLFwXN is not a normal program name. I'd say you had an infection and Spyware Doctor may have removed it (or partially removed it). I suspect that these two lines are related:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4F90D8C1-DC9B-4BF0-B5F1-904077F0FE69} - (no file)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: jkkLFwXN - jkkLFwXN.dll (file missing)
I'm not a HijackThis expert, but I would try fixing those 2 entries and do a search on my hard drives for jkkLFwXN.* and delete it.
You might want to post your HijackThis log on one of the many forums that exist specifically for this purpose.

Post us some hard data, a CoHHelper report and a HijackThis log.

1) Kiji-In Sha takes Resistance sets, put the Steadfast res/def in there.
2) Blinding Powder 6 slotted with Siphon Insight gives some Melee and Ranged defense.
3) Pacing of the Turtle in Caltrops for some more Ranged defense.
4) Lose the Fighting pool.
5) Use full sets of Red Fortune for Ranged Defense.
6) Use full sets of Obliteration and Touch of Death for Melee defense.
That's what I did on my elec/nin stalker and got soft capped melee, ranged with Hide suppressed, and AoE defense of 41%. My AoE isn't Soft capped but it is very close, AoE is the least important of the 3. -

Do not install CoH onto your windows drive, you'll save yourself some headaches that way. -

It could be your optical drive failing, but the first thing to try is just cleaning it. Blow some canned air in there, maybe try a Q-tip to clean the lens. Just take a quick look here.
If the drive starts having problems with other disks you'll just have to replace the drive. -
Its a laptop ZM, he can't add a graphics card. He does have enough memory though, so once he resolves the display problem he has a shot at playability.
