Monitor goes to sleep or computer shuts off?
Don't suppose you've gone into the power and display settings in the control panel and turned off the sleep, hibernate, and screen saver... Surely you have, I'm sorry, I'm silly for even asking, I know.
There's nothing, really, in that log that indicates what the issue is, beyond the fact that it's an HP, and therefore there *may* be another software running in the background or a bios setting that could be doing it. HP is some weird re: power stuff.
Post up a Hijack this, and maybe we can figure it out with that.

What does the ventilation of your system look like?
Does that particular video card have a fan?
I had a similar issue once where my video card was over heating and that would cause it to quit sending out a video signal first, then if I didn't shut it off it would reboot/shutdown on it's own.
Good thinking! I was going with the 'logical' possibles, not the physical ones.

[/ QUOTE ] This. More than likely, whatever power setup the computer has is looking for input to the operating system alone. The game controls override standard Windows input. Playing the game for an extended period of time will provide input to the game, but not necessarily the operating system... causing the powersaving modes to be enabled.
If you want to cancel your game subscription over something that is the fault of your own computer's poor programming, that's your choice, but I suspect the same thing would happen if you tried to watch a full length movie on it too. Are you going to throw away your DVDs too?
Check your powersaving settings.. disable them as a trial and see if the problem goes away, then adjust the timers/preferences as you see fit.
If the problem persists with the powersaving options disabled, I'd look into it maybe being a heat issue or other problem instead. The game takes more resources and puts a strain on some systems. You'd encounter issues that you wouldn't normally encounter without playing. That doesn't mean the game is broken. Also, because of dust, age, normal wear on the device.. these problems can manifest over time.. so just because it worked fine yesterday, doesn't mean it should work fine today. Electronics eventually run down and fail, but hopefully that's not the case here.
I do have the sleep mode to never and turn off display to never. But it still does the same. My video card is new as I had to replace it, plus it did the something before but I will check it again to make sure. But my screen saver is on a timer and I don't see an off switch for it but a duration of how long before it activates.
I have used netflix, watched DVD's, watched hulu, and other TV programs on here without a problem other then the screen saver goes off but nothing like I experience with the game.
Could I get a link for the right hijackthis so I know the right one to get.
I appreciate all the help I get.

How very odd. This wouldn't be you, would it?

Was searching google for your model number and came across that. If it's not... then there's two of you out there.
The oddity is this. Going to HP I get NO information regarding this:
System Model: D5468AT-ABA ALONPAV
Putting in just the 5468 in the HP search does produce something... but they're all laptops.
So the system model isn't good enough. We're probably going to need the model number from the outside of the box, I can't look up anything else.
You say it's a new video card, but depending on the card and your power supply, there may be an issue. Newer video cards tend to need more power, but if your power supply is stock... and not rated for enough watts... you're possibly running into that.
There also seems to be an issue here and there with your montior though. Google searches on the monitor's model number and the word 'sleep' brings up a few 'me too!'s.

Thaank you for the HijackThis link. Do I just copy the report here from it's note pad when I have it scan?
My videocard is a navida 9600. Where do I look to see what the power supply is to check if it is enough? I know a friend once said that my computer isn't utilizing the whole capacity of the videocard that the card could be pushed more but didn't address that being the problem.

Well, like I say, the model number being given doesn't apparently correspond to any model HP's ever built, so finding out what the factory put in there is difficult.
Best way to check is to take the power supply out and look at it's lables, or perhaps come up with another identifying mark/number/name that can be found on HP's website.
I don't see anything obvious in the hijack this... maybe I missed it though...

I know HP Laptops are known to have a major problem after 13-15 months of operation ... the GPU starts over heating and starts damaging the components around it. Bottons not Working, Wireless Not being detected, Monitor shut off, and case warping are all signs of this.

If it is a desktop we'd need to know more information ...
By any chance did Vista do a software update then this problem appeared? I've been hearing rumors that the drivers can get uncertified in a patch and then the "normal" operation of the GPU gets deleted and causes problems.

It does get updated by Windows quite a bit. This seem to happen for quite awhile. At this time I be on for 12 minutes or eve 30 before it shuts off.
Here's a for-giggles suggestion, take it or leave it up to you...
Log into the game(s) and set all your graphic settings to minimum. Exit & Close the game.
Then grab the absolute oldest non-beta driver you can find for that card number for your OS. Yeah I'm serious.
Then do a full clean uninstall of the current driver. Some say using Add-Remove Programs stuff is enough, however most of us prefer to use driver sweeper pro from safemode to fully remove a driver.
Then install the new-to-you old driver.
Log into the game and play a while. (Yeah I know minimum isn't pretty, do some WW/BM work or something if you think its too ugly.)
Post your results. Odds are no-change, minor chance of a variant. I suggest this because I've seen something vaguely similar before from a driver even though it shouldn't happen.
Take with 2 grains of salt and call me in the morning :P

[/ QUOTE ] To anybody who might try to do this.. Make sure you do a /wdwsave or /wdwsavefile for the character you are going to test it on. Otherwise, you may spend some unnecessary time fixing everything once you go back to your usual resolution. It can be easily fixed with a /wdwload as long as you saved it first. lol
Excellent piece of info as usual Mateo. Definitely. I have a bad habit of forgetting that not everyone has all four /save files already built :P
Lot of times lately I run 2 accounts I get 10-15 minutes in it seems my monitor shuts off and goes to sleep. I hear my computer running, the light is shown on and the keyboard is still lit up. Lot of times I have to shut off and restart. At times it restart itself. I thought it was running 2 account was the problem but at times even one account would do it. It has happened before but was rare then it seems to be happening a lot when I try and play. Worst so on test server or on Freedom but still does it on other servers like Protector. It gets really annoying that I can't play a straight game at times and I stop playing. Makes me wanna cancel my accounts since I can't get some good game play. This only happens when I play the game and no other time. My computer has handled 4 accounts before with no real lag or problem. I hope someone here can help as the hp website support was no help or didn't help at all.
