We'll both be there Mental, I'll be on my Grav/Storm and she'll bring her Illusion/Rad. See you Saturday!
-
The Wife and I can both be there tomorrow. I'll be on my Grav/Storm, Mysterious Cowboy, and she'll be bringing her Ill/Rad, Make Believe Hero.
-
We'll both be there again. I'll have my grav/storm and she'll bring either a ill/rad or an earth/kin.
-
We'll both be there again Mental, most likely on the same characters as last week.
-
The wife and I will each take a spot Mental. I'll be on a Grav/Storm and she will probably bring her Ill/Rad
-
Doesn't look like we'll be able to make it either. Got some family stuff to take care of mid-afternoon on Saturday.
Hopefully we can catch you next time. -
According to some in-game conversations that occured during CB, and from Zombie Man's guide, shards should only drop from lvl 50+ baddies.
Shards were dropping off 47+ baddies for awhile, but I do not know if that is the case anymore.
The wife and I would definitely like to join you though. -
My wife and I will both there with our blasters. (Gamesman and Pink Ice Princess)
-
We can be there tomorrow as well. I will bring a blaster and the wife will be bringing her Dark/Dark defender.
-
The Wisp bosses have a phase bubble. Although the don't seem to use it as consistantly as they used to. (In my opinion anyway)
-
My wife and I will take two of the damage spots, we each have a blaster to bring.
-
My wife would definitely be interested in this. Alas, I don't have an Illusion high enough to come myself, but she would be there for sure.
-
The wife and I will join you Blac, I'll be on an elec/fire brute and she will be on a fire/kinetic corruptor.
-
The wife and I will join ya Ariel'
Not sure on who yet, but we'll be there. -
Yes, yes it is for the G15. And that would be awesome if you have a copy you don't mind sharing.
-
Yes. Unless I missed it somewhere, there isn't actually a download link there. The 'Download CoHLCD' link just points back to the page.
-
Does anyone happen to have the CoHLCD install file that they could send me?
I had to reinstall windows on my machine and it appears as if PathtoEvil.com is no longer under Duck's control. -
The wife and I will be there. I'll be on my usual (one of these days I'll get another to the higher levels) and the wife will be on one of her many.
-
We'll take those last two spots if you'll have us again Mental
-
It's actually the whole Guardian server if the global channels over the weekend were any indication. I know personally I used three different machines on three different internet connections and performance was incredibly bad on them all. Everything takes multiple attempts to go through: dragging-dropping, bidding, getting inf or items.
I'm trying to get my support ticket about it elevated at the moment. Considering the first response I got was that it was wai.
I'm hoping for a bit more in the last round -
The wife and I will join you Mental. Not sure who we'll bring yet, but we'll be there.

Quote:Wow, that's almost exactly how it went with my wife and I. I started playing around Christmas and she didn't want to touch it. Eventually, she started playing with the character creator on my account and ended up with her first blaster. We hit our first 50s together and haven't looked back.Grin. My better half got City Of Heroes around Christmas. I would watch over his shoulder, and enjoy watching, but when he asked me if I wanted to play, I would shudder and tell him it was way to violent....and I had never played a video game, and I was too clutzy...
I tried to make up for it by fetching him beer and snacks, and during double XP weekend I ensured he had all he needed to keep on killing.
Anyways, he felt I would really like it and the more questions I asked about what I was seeing over his shoulder, the more confident that I would indeed enjoy the game.
Sooo....He bought me a copy of the Good Vs Evil edition, paid for a year's subscription fee, installed the game on my computer, and even bought me a new video card and power supply when it was found my computer was lacking in that respect...all the while I was yowling like a scalded cat that I did not want to play.
I finally caved in because he had spent all that money...for the video card, he went to Best Buy and asked the salesman which video card he would install in his mother's computer if she were to take up City of Heroes....it was not cheap.
And, I decided this was something we could do together.
That was almost 33 months ago, actually, 33 months at the end of this month!
Those who want your wives and giirl friends to play.....beware.....she is going to want to kick off her shoes, and play the game upon coming home from work...your house or apartment will never be sparkling clean again, you will start to eat more take out, you might have to take up doing laundry, and she will wake you up in the early hours of the morning with a simply wonderful idea for a toon
btw, that last paragraph is extremely accurate. I mean, like verbatim. I'm going to hide now before she reads this post.
Happy Birthday Honey!!
(Everyone should send her a Happy Birthday message in game! @moopharm1) -

Quote:Double check your drivers and make sure you have the newest set. Both my laptop and my desktop did this with 7 using the drivers that windows loads on install. After updating them though they both look normal.I'm having an issue since installing Windows 7 my graphics are bright and the toons look cartoonish. I verified that my resolution and refresh rate are setup correctly in the game. my powers are also blocky looking. Any suggestions? My specs:
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 6000+ Chipset
4GB DDR2 mem
3.10 GHZ
Nvidia 9500GT graphics card.
Windows 7 is running Direct X 10
Edit: I should also add that those drivers came through Window's Update, I didn't pull them from the Nvidia's or ATI's site
