To unlock the Patron Power Pools? I'd say Black Scorpion should be fairly easy... of the EB/AVs that I've soloed (all of them have one), fairly standard damage, not too much life.

I believe Black Scorpion is the one where you have to fight the four Mole Machines. I'd avoid that one solo.
Ah, yeah, i forget about them, they can be a pain, but that's just a bit of tedium, the rest of the arc is by far the easiest IMO.
but yeah if you want fast while soloing the arc that's not the way to go.

I just ran that one for the first time and.. aren't the mole machines supposed to spawn enemies or something? They were just big bricks of HP when I just ran it with team of 3 (yawn). Should I have bugged it?

I don't think they spawn enemies as a rule. If it's bugged, it's been bugged for a very long time.
They don't spawn enemies. They're just have ridiculous buckets and buckets of HP. Which was OK when they used to give metric butt-tons of XP, but now they give nothing and their HP wasn't reduced.

That is the best mission ever. Did you ever stand on top of a mole machine while it explodes? It catapults you directly into the ocean. The most "wheeeeee!" moment in the game ever.

Ah, so not a bug, just a time consuming task with no reward other than getting to the mission complete. Too bad; they could at least revamp it to throw some wave attacks at you at various stages of damage.
