More Lore pets? Fantastic! Though, is there any way you can look into providing Primal Clockwork as well? After all, we've seen their level 50 counterparts in the new story arcs. I need Primal Clockwork Lore Pets.. for reasons.

Looks like an amazing issue.

Was this issue supposed to be "fix all the things" or "Change all your builds"?

It's going to be a lot of work fitting in new heal, resist, defense sets and new powers from power pools.

I have three saved up, myself...and any thought I might have had of spending them on consumables just braked to a squealing halt until I see the new stuff.

I did ask about new IO sets at the last Freedom Friday and was going to ask about IO set revamps due to new mechanics (Absorption) at the upcoming one.

I like that things did get looked at but before I can say yay or nay (to the revamp) I'll need to see exactly what this entails and how this would alter my toons that already have them slotted.

I'm also glad that there are new sets to go with the revamp but I was hoping more for something from underrepresented and unrepresented attributes.

********************************

Yay customization! Yay Blasters! Yay VIP Sets! Yay Pool Upgrades!

********************************

Kinda disappointed that with all the effort and resources put into Praetoria, it turned out to be such a big bust that the Devs had to, literally, nuke from orbit; practically eliminating the possibility full level range content originating from Praetoria itself.

Please get the most out of those already expended resources that you can; even if it means using some timey-wimey stuff to squeeze a 'what if' 1-50 out of Ouro.

********************************

I like that the Lore branch continues to expand (and between it, Alpha and Interface, there's a lot of options); I just hope that kind of expansion continues to happen for the Judgement and Hybrid branches.

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"

The overview says "these new set bonuses provide more powerful resistance against a broader variety of damage." The way I read that was, things like "3.3% resistance to immobilize" and "2.2% resistance to stun" would be replaced by something more like "4% resistance to all mez types" or "7% resistance to confuse, fear and sleep", for example. You know, to make them useful.

You're totally misreading the intention of the Praetorian storyline and what it was designed to do

They've already said there's NOT Kheldian customization in i24, but I've not heard anything about Granite Armor. (I'm assuming no, though.)

well until a Red name says it ,what you think it says and what is mean could be two different things.

remember Clinton once stated "depends on what "is" means".

gee with all the new power sets will anyone use the old ones?

I'm glad we're getting power pool customization. Yay!

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get Kheldian customization. (Maybe only 2 more years? lol)

Maybe I am but that's still 1 full world environment; 6 full zones worth of coding, tech, art and other resources that is now reduced to 1 or 2 that could've been better allocated elsewhere, IMO. (because they could've accomplished a similar (if not the same) storyline with less resource for the same end result.

Reduced? They're not removing the GR zones

You're doing that thing again. Plans change. Just because we have what we have now does not mean that is always what was intended. Saying "It's this way, so it was always meant to be this way" is extremely fallible.

As far as story progression is concerned, they have been:

Quote:
New Incarnate Story Arc (Free for VIPs): The majority of Praetoria except for one last bit of civilization outside of the city has been destroyed. This tiny corner of civilization crumbles from constant attacks by the Devouring Earth, and its days are numbered unless someone with the power of an Incarnate fights against the forces of Hamidon! Characters who are ready for this great challenge can contact the Vanguard scientist Number Six in the Rikti War Zone.
Unless they're going to actually follow my suggestion and retrofit the existing Praetorian Maps with full 1-50 content (or even add new level appropriate content) from within Praetoria; those zones are essentially dead in the water.

[Edit: Not that I want to derail the thread any further so I won't go into much more detail about this... as it has probably been discussed ad nauseum already.]

I think is a very well put together issue.

I would like to see new level 7-20 villain content added to the game. Port Oakes could use some meaty content.

I will be spending the rest of the summer getting as many AMerits/Reward Tokens/EMP Merits/Astral Merits for those new sets. I for one love the addition of the sets but am dreading the market.

Why? They're pre-war zones, with pre-war content - they let players experience life from inside the evil empire before its destruction.

All the major story reveals about Tyrant and the loyalists except the "truce" with the Hamidon were put into the 1-20 GR content for a reason

When have I said that they couldn't? You're so busy trying to prove your point that you're actually starting to reiterate/echo/regurgitate mine; please reread and absorb my original post.

My main issue is allocated resources vs actual returns.
