Hmm, perhaps the Battallion will make use of Doppelgangers? It'd make sense, I suppose, if they eat Wells, then as a result of them trying to eat Earth's, they get our characters? And so the raid bosses end up being...someone on our team?
That could be an interesting approach...
I know it has an aura, but it could still be "bugged"....like doppleganger tech, making a statue of the leader of the group in the missions....but still displaying his powers...and they need to code for it to stop displaying the powers yet.
Just a thought.
Level 53: Arrows/Devices/Munitions Blaster
....and hopeless Science-Natzi.
I for one welcome our giant doppelganger overlords.
And I think some of this stuff is just the devs messing with our heads.

Oh dear...if they let us have statues of our characters for bases, the fun will be ENDLESS, especially if we can move said statues around the base via the editor.
BWAHAHAHAHA.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!

I tried to have banners for each of my 50s in the SG base, but the banner system is too finicky. I can't imagine a collection of statues.
(my motives are not quite as...mischievous as yours may be)

Well done with the Legion, sir.

Which would be super awesome. But I suspect it's just a statue/hologram honoring one of the characters on the team. Which is okay, I guess. Kind of a neat addition to a TF. I'd rather have growth, though. Back in the late 60s/early 70s, I used to watch Speed Racer and Ultraman after school. And who didn't want to be Ultraman?

They're just pulling random stuff out of thin air and messing with us. Howling in laughter as we try to decode and make sense of it all ;P
Issue 24 seems to be CoH's complementary oddball episode.
With the crystal-looking thing between Giant Guy's feet and his feet not touching the ground, I'm thinking that maybe it's supposed to be a holographic projection.

I'll miss you all.
Anything less than giant versions of ourselves to fight will now disappoint me, becaue I'm set on attack of the 50 foot ninjas.

* I typed "arguated" here by mistake on my first attempt. I've long felt internet fora needed their own term for "argued."

On holographs and power effects, maybe it's a holographic message from a fully Incarnate-d version of yourself in the future?
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
Before Issue 11, an image of the then-new Ouroboros logo was revealed. Many forumites argued* that the image meant the new issue would be about a 5th Column moon base. The most popular argument for this was based on the shape of the rivets on the logo. Now THAT's obsessive "decoding." This is why I now refer to player speculation based on single images as "5th Column Ouroboros Rivet Syndrome." Say it with me!

Sometimes decoding works.
I really should do something about this signature.
The raised fist makes me guess it's a statue that players can compete for somehow, but that doesn't explain the aura on the hands, nor why it's in Galaxy City. Hm.
