I know others have pointed out that there are ways to make a hero based on one of the above themes, but don't forget that there's a playable VILLAIN side to the game, too.

And if you really need examples of chainsaw-wielding heroes?

But essentially isn't this the same approach as the Halloween bundle with the random assortment of monster parts and floating brain? Not that I'm complaining at all, I really love the non-costume random themed assortment methodology, it just doesn't seem like that new a new concept. Is it a question of scale (i.e. piece count)?

Oh and to echo a few others: I really hope some cleaned up versions are considered as a last second throw in. History indicates close concepts are rarely revisited so the existance of dirty sports pieces like the mask and football gear would largely preclude a later sports pack that used the same models but different textures. This would be an unfortunate potential loss.

As a female player with female characters I have to say this entire costume pack leaves me cold. One of the great joys of this game has been the tremendous flexibility offered in customization with the costumes. The last pack was awesome but I see little to entice me on this one. I know the female version is coming out but if they're based on what I've seen so far I think this will be one pack that I won't add to the collection.

But that's kinda the style of post-apocalyptic clothing - the world is meant to have fallen into a more primitive and violent state, and there's not really much room for focusing on fashion and style when you're struggling to survive, so more feminine clothing is going to be pretty rare.

Indeed. The Cockroach Empire would be pleased to have this.

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

So...again I say: City of Casey Jones *and* Jason Voorhees.

Wouldn't want the poor widdle willains to feel left out, would we?

If the Apocalypse happens in the 80s, then there is ALWAYS room for fashion!

Always remember, we were Heroes.

I just watched that movie a couple months ago. It was really, REALLY bad.

I don't need this baby-talk! I've got puppies to nuke!!

But seriously, this kind of dismissal is what starts acidic thread arguments. Do we want that? No. Besides, playing as a villain can be legitimately fun!

If Masterminds didn't suck, they'd be the most powerful AT in the game.

Speaking of Lollipop chainsaw - Dink - got enough time to add a "belt with your boyfriend/girlfriend/SO's 'I did it all by myself!' chainsaw-detached head" to the pack?

I think those are just the Resistance boots, given that no new boots are listed in the OP.

The shin pads are just part of the pants.

Edit: Also in agreeance with some previous posters, can we please get a clean version of the mask? It is the only actual full face mask that Males/Huge have access to and having it be so concept specific, due both to it's being a hockey mask and it's condition, really sucks. (Seriously, when are we getting male versions of the CoL masks?)

I'd like to see CoL fully ported, or at least ported as well as possible. There are frustratingly few cross-dressing options.

What? Heroic Transvestite is a perfectly valid character archetype!

I just want a freaking MASK. The rest could be fun but really, gimme a MASK. Not the spraypainted on stuff or the really lame partial harlequin mask, a full on porcelain face mask!

I've got to say, I'm rather disappointed in the decision to not give clean versions of these powers. It HIGHLY limits their versatility.

Clean versions of what, pauldrons/gauntlets made from shredded old rubber tires? Perhaps the torn, patched pants?

What, other than the hockey mask, do you want to see an optional clean texture for?

AGAIN, I THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER TO ASK FOR A SEPARATE SPORTS-THEMED PACK THAN TO INSIST THE POST-APOCALYPTIC PACK HAVE "CLEAN" OPTIONS.

I'm wildly unimpressed, Dink. Not in your talents, in whoever decided this is what you should be focusing your incredibly amazing talents on.
Pretty much the crowd at the last Player's Summit.

The favored theme was "post apocalyptic". And yeah, Casey Jones was thrown around as an aesthetic for a grungy, "found materials" kind of look.
