A good Massage Therapist generally makes $60/hour, but then there's overhead and licenses and supplies, and you have to look at naked people.

Wait wait wait... I'm sorry if this is a dead topic, this has been cleared up recently, or there's news of this that I haven't heard about...

I know this is a WIP, but seriously...

Where are the guns?!

What's a post apocalyptic setting without guns? I mean, one could argue "Ammo is hard to find!" Not when you buy it before the apocalypse happens!

What? You think guns don't fit into a post apoc setting?
Guns are to Post Apoc what swords are to Fantasy.

Well gee, KC... DP, AR, and BR just got tons of new guns!!
Not ones that I'd be proud to use on a lot of characters. Sure if you want to have a guy who uses laser-tag equipment and squirt guns to fight then yeah! We sure did get a lot of guns! But I'm asking for actual guns, something that looks like a police officer would use, or maybe even something a soldier in the military would use. Please, just once can we get a pack of guns that lacks horns, extremely blocky parts, oversized fog-horn barrels, or random pieces that don't fit? (And please no more revolvers...)

I mean seriously guys... not everyone uses chainsaws in a post apoc setting.

Now on to the hair: Seriously? I think we all know what I'm going to say...
WE NEED MORE MOHAWKS, GUYS!!! I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM I JUSTWANTMOREANDMOREANDIUFGHOSURHGOUISBER-

Kidding, no seriously we have enough mohawks, in fact I never see anyone use any of them. I liked the kind of style of the hair in the Pocket D costume pack. Try to go with either "More anime" or "More natural" hairs next time. Most of the community would probably request the "More Natural" hairs out of those two. I said "More anime" because I actually have a guy with long hair and I'd like to see a better looking long hair style.

Then again I guess if the apocalypse rolled around I'd probably nail myself in the head too... not sure how it wouldn't kill me.

Anyway now for some GOOD things to say (I try to be fair and supportive by giving positive and negative feedback).

I love the shoulders, gloves, and pants. They look very post apoc-y. The chest piece is nice as well, I could see that used in multiple occasions.
I can't wait to see the belt textured, however the hammer looks a bit out of place (I don't think they'd be doing construction work in a post apoc setting, but I mean I guess it could be used as a side-arm weapon almost like a blunt knife).

All in all I believe I'll be buying this pack, but I'd really like to stress my disappointment at the lack of guns.

Posted

@KingCrazy, you think the hammer on the belt isn't post apocalyptic? Hammers are one of the most useful tools in and out of the construction field. You sir, have not been in a hammer fight, that much is clear.

This is true. As you can tell from my post I'm not much of a melee kind of guy.

Anyway I actually said it could be used as a side-arm blunt weapon kind of thing. It's just not something I usually see in my Post-Apoc games and movies. :3

Points, take my points! I'm getting some non post-apocalyptic uses for those pieces clearly in mind now. And I think Quickfrost, my Ice^3 blaster, may be growing his hair out a bit.

Is that engine exhaust puffing off those dual chainswords? Awesome... Day one purchase here.

Not my cup of tea, personally, but those are some FANTASTIC costume parts. This is really, really excellent work. I particularly appreciate the detail on the cape-thing.

To be perfectly honest a pure "Post Apocalyptic" costume set is not quite my cup of tea either. But I learned long ago that the costume system in this game works best the more options it has regardless. Some of my better costumes are unexpected mixtures of pieces-parts of many different sets. So even though I may never make a 100% complete Post Apocalyptic costume I suspect I'll eventually be able to use some parts of it for other ideas.

i think it's silly that beam rifle has laser rifle's models but not visa-versa, SHOULD BE PORTED ASAP. also, there are models that all three [with AR] use, so.. the same Beam-Only models should ALSO SHOULD BE PORTED. post apoc weapon problem solved.

and ew that pocket D hair was horrible D:

and boo to the obvious reskin of the resistence mohawk for the cybertech pack :P but we SO need better long hair options. glam length but better thickness and... quality. males too. and i dont see why we cant have a similar style like glam and the low ponytail ladies have. should also be ported XD

but YAY EVERYTHING DINK DOES IS AWESOME AND I LOVES HER! ^_^ and i cant wait to buy this set. i already know what im using on what character!

But it's not a "Post Apocalyptic" costume set... It's a homeless person's costume set (which is great if you want to roleplay a Lost gang member).

To me, the concept is all wrong and there were a lot of good concepts/images people suggested at the summit that would have worked better than these. Don't get me wrong, I'll take this for the welder's mask but otherwise I'm really disappointed that its the best we'll ever get for a "Post Apocalyptic" costume set. These pieces are done well but... meh whatever, its too late now.

Don't get me wrong here because I love those chainsaws (seriously, day 1 purchase for me) but there's a little nagging annoyance with the Dual blade version

For the sake of symmetry can the sword in the characters left hand be flipped around so the main box unit faces out as it does on the right hand? It just looks somewhat awkward as is .

I agree with this. I'm a pretty big fan of symmetry, myself. The left-handed chainsword doesn't have to be a mirror image, just so long as the engine is facing out like the right-handed one. Typically, dual-wielded weapons we have access to are symmetrical left-to-right, so they look identical in both hands. Being that the chainswords are lopsided, I really do thing the left one should be flipped around.

Cant wait to buy it at the Paragon market

And I hope the next proyect is a hairstyles pack, or something related with anime/asian...

It's probably way too late in the development cycle but I wonder if it would be possible to add an extra reskin of the School Backpack using these tattered textures as an additional part of this set.

The set so far looks amazing, and adding the welder's mask was a great bonus, but a new texture for the school backpack and adjusting the dual chainsaws would be another nice bonus.
Either way the set is a guaranteed buy for me.

We haven't seen these tanks yet, have we?

Please tell me that at least one has a window with animated bubbles and tintable interior liquid!

I've been wanting a chemical tank for so long.

Also a suggestion if it's not too late in the process, can we have a few skins for these including a biohazard symbol, radioactive symbol, classic poison skull and crossbones, a flammable symbol, and of course a symbol-less version?

Take two chainsaws, one in either hand and have them running. Turn the one in your left hand upside down so the engine is "mirrored" of that of the right hand one. Sadly, the teeth are now rotating backwards aswell and will lead the left chainsaw to kick back into your skull upon use. Congrats, your dead.

Symetrical design I agree with, but is not needed here... We got freaking chainswords... It's like complaining to your dad for buying the wrong color of mercedes for you.

Also, i to wanna see these "tank" backpacks.
