Yet another thing Paragon Marketing does that baffles the **** out of me.

oh yeah not to mention the free thins on twitter...
i dont like twitter...
i dont use twitter...
but if i want free goodies i have to pretend to , follow them, and be part of a site i dont care for.
why cant the freebies just be on here? XD

given that each issue is put on test for a month or so before release, it is always anticlimactic by the time it is released - for people who follow the boards.
For the other 98% of the players it is a surprise.

They said they'd be announcing something tomorrow. Maybe the I24 preview page?
Everything that's been "leaked" has been through our official Twitch channel, not through various media outlets AFAIK. Our official, weekly, live streams are nothing new, and a venue we've been using to introduce new content and upcoming changes for well over a year now. We now have the ability to back these up on our YouTube channel, another official channel.
Nothing that's been discussed has broad Marketing Value. It's all very Community centric and really is something that's only interesting to current/former players of the game. When we're closer to beta, we'll release a full Issue 24 overview (I was just talking to Black Pebble about this today).
And here I thought that the Community would be excited about getting news about upcoming changes prior to the actual announcement.

I'm not impressed with I24.. I demand I28. I bet that one will be awesome! Revamped Shadow Shard, Praetorian Rularuu (don't even ask how this works) and Defenders become president of the united states OF THE WORLD

Issue 24 will just be before Issue 25.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I personally prefer the slow leak of news to the wait for one big announcement.

Maybe because they promote sharing information that has no business ending up on the internet at all?
Maybe because every time you turn around, there's another story in the news about some social media site (usually Putzbook) mishandling personal data?
Is it becoming any clearer?

I hate social media because I'm sick of everybody and his dog tying their login systems and miscellaneous functions into sites that have been proven over and over to have all the security of a rice-paper hut.
I hate social media because I can't go ANYWHERE without someone trying to shove it in my face. (Also one of the reasons I hate religion, but that's an entirely different topic.)
I hate social media because I find it morally repugnant to cash in on the details of someone's personal life. Like reality TV wasn't bad enough in that regard?
I hate social media because it does a lot of things that anywhere but the internet would land you in prison for voyeurism/stalking/harassment/etc.
I hate social media because it hands a microphone to a lot of people who really should have their tongues cut out instead of giving them an audience.

You forgot to mention fixing the text errors.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
