No, you don't. Whirlwind draws endurance based on the number of enemies in range, so if enemies aren't being thrown out of the area of effect, it'll drain your endurance in a matter of seconds.

Actually the way he said it was unclear, I'd wait for text confirmation. Because it SOUNDS like he said the T4 would require 1 power pick and the T5 would require 2, which falls in line with the travel pool changes. It's just he said '1 or 2' in there and it's unclear if he meant 1 or 2 powers or T1/T2.

well i wish they would re-work whirlwind a little bit

give it minor dmg and make it less of an endurance drain.

i loves it while i'm soloing. :'(

Sorry, Rangle has been taking lessons from Warboss of late it seems.

Warboss has problems with words. And days. And pretty much anything else.


If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

As awesome as everything else was, what would get me much more excited about what I saw in today's chat would be the implementation of "gun hands" or at the very least, a trial run on the idea by giving us a "none" or "invisible" pistol option in the creator for DP. We have video proof that it looks cool. I'd love to see the devs let us move forward on this idea

Love the nuke changes.

And I love the Presence changes. I often find myself running out of powers I want to take, what with Fitness being inherent and the fact that I hate the Fighting pool. This leaves me throwing in crazy things like Concealment or Presence just to fill space.

If I am looking for a 1 slot wonder, I am looking for powers to stuff LotG in. Placate doesn't take any IO sets.

Given that if I just nuked, I would want to use blasts while BU was still active.

Brutes are good, but they aren't even top of the food chain. Unless what you mean is farms that have enemies within a narrow range of performance.

As i recall Fold Space was removed in beta, not post launch. Pretty sure i saw someone at the Talos tram with a Singy well before Issue 1 went live.


FWIW, the "cottage rule" has never stated that powers cannot be reworked or replaced with a new power if the Devs decide to do so, only that doing so is the last resort solution.

So far i'm looking forward to seeing exactly what stuff gets fixed. And what stuff doesn't. The announced changes so far sound appealing to me.

With no changes the new Fighting pool will be a significant buff to Super Strength since buffing those powers will make them functionally better when Rage is applied then the single target Super Strength attacks.

So for fighting pool the best thing they could come up with is sand of mu/flurry power with a bonus added in? Isnt the fact that we already have 2 of these powers mean we shouldnt get a 3rd ?

should at least give us the option of not picking up boxing or kick .sick of being forced to grab these powers for my tank..its bad enoughwe need these powers more then any a.t. in the bunch but forcing it is ridiculous

You are (deliberately or not) ignoring the colloquial, idiomatic use of "X is dying", which implies that its demise is predicted to be in the timeframe of "sooner", not "later."

Overuse of this phrase is punishable by being forced to speak exclusively in geologic timeframes.

"What time do you want to go to the movies?"

"Right now."

if you think dying means get closer chronologically to the time you die, then you have a very bad definition of dying. A useless definition.
