Any comparisons damage wise to another blaster set?

Particle effects look great for this game.
The T1 attack *looks* absolutely silly weak.

y'all it was fantastic running a sewers last night with eight water blasters and corruptors. so far popular combinations have been energy and dark for blasters, and storm, poison, dark, time, and forcefield.
but its so pretty and is a well rounded aoe and single target set that it should pair well with just about anything.
i might have about four water blasting characters ^_^

I know which of my characters I'm gonna be rerolling! "Neptune's Niece" on Virtue is currently an Ice Blaster, the closest I could get to a "water" set at the time. I stopped leveling her when I first heard rumors about this new PS.
Hmm.. sometrhing else... I have a stalled Rad/Poison Corr- The Hematologist. (Rad Blast had too little mitigation.. I hit 25 and died repeatedly... felt like a wimpy Blaster...)
Now.. with Red Colored Water Blast and KD-KU mitigation.. YES.. I found my next Ranged Toon!

Okay, that looks really nice... 'Gorgeous effects.
The "punch the ground and get some gysers" animation is particularly cool.
I'm not sure I need a water blaster of my own, but still... it's pretty.

So I guess I'm the only one that thinks it looks visually appealing, but very underwhelming in the 'impact' factor? I mean... nothing (except perhaps the geyser/groundpunch thing) looks like it would really hurt any of the targets. Maybe it'll look better in-game with all the sound effects and reactions.
... though I almost hate to (it'd break one of the few remaining level pacts,) I may just need to remake Typhon's Herald. Warm things up a bit - water instead of ice. (Water/Storm Corruptor incoming.)

Some of the effects look magnificent. I very much like Geyser and Whirlpool. I admit that the earlier single target blasts do not look particularly powerful. I was half hoping for something more stream-like, at least for one or two of the moves (think fireman's hose, but straight out of the palm). Regardless, I am looking forward to it.
