I think the best you can hope for with MM pets right now is some system that lets you use models from enemy groups, kinda like the Lore slot - like if you had Mercs, you could chose Council, 5th Column, Malta or Knives as alternative models.

Hi Dink, and other forumites....

I'm not sure I could find this covered necessarily, but I noticed when dealing with the Barbarian 'shorts', with the options being Skin or Tights, I noticed in the Tights section there was no accepting of any patterns other than a color, and with Skin, you couldn't take a particular texture, such as Bioluminescence for example. This essentially means you just have colored legs or well...skin.

This goes against what you can do with Kilts and Shorts which can retain patterns and textures, which makes me wonder if the Barbarian 'shorts' shouldn't be moved into that category and have those options applied? I'm sure I can't be the first person to have noticed this. Which leads to one other thing....

When using Kilts, Skirts and Shorts, the scaling on the legs changes to much thinner than if using Tights, for example. Is this just to accomodate the pieces in question? It's a noticeable change on Huge characters, for example. I tried this on one character and his massive upper body didn't look like it was going to be supported by his spindly thighs....

Would it be possible to get a fur-lined cape? I'm thinking something that would match the barbarian set. Sort of like what this guy is wearing:

Unfortunately we cannot since everything in this game is based off of those base models, so for instance, if we up rezed the face, then every piece that was built off of that face will no longer fit to the new face. Hope this makes sense ^_^

In that case, can we improve the look of our chests when wearing spandex by getting something like the witch top or Mother Mayhem's top that gives the impression of having more normal looking curves?
The current bodysuit set on beta doesn't have the right stretchiness, or any neckline options.

I would just like to see all of the awesome glove options (like Ascension) have a monstrous version. :/

Also, monstrous versions of the Kilts, Shorts, and Barbarian briefs.

That is because the bodysuits are made from the base models so we had to do the best we could with that model, basically what I did (female anyways) is I took the base model into ZBrush, up rezed it and then I painted the muscles, and then baked out the textures and applied them to the base model.

The Witch top is is not more geo it's a texture just like the rest but it is just better quality than some of the older pieces. Since Mother Mayhem is an NPC she does not have to follow the costume creator so she can have more poly's.

So I hope this makes sense as well ^_^

We can only port over the smooth/bare options over to Monstrous (which is what I am doing as we speak ^_^) since the Monstrous gloves have different geo we would basically have to rebuild another version to go into monstrous.

Sliding the chest slider to the right more will help you out as well.

I mentioned the barbarian thing too. I also posted it on freedom friday. It would be nice to have patterns unlocked for that. It's not even hard to do. They can copy paste code or or whatever if they left that out of the coding for that part..

I understand. Shame you can's just cut and paste the hand portion.

I hope in the future you guys consider the monstrous hands when making new gloves.

Even that would be better then what it is now. Maybe upgrade it later but give us that for now.

Changing parts out from under us instead of making them new options has a long history of being very unpopular with the playerbase. For every person that asked for this to change there was at least one that liked it the way it was (Hi!).

The one piece I've always wanted is a large cloak/cape that extends to the feet and wraps around the shoulders. Something like this.



The high collar cape actually comes very close. In fact it would be perfect if we had the option to use it without the collar! Any love for something like this?

(PS - Amazing work on the Celestial Armor fix. Can't wait to use!)

I'd argue that there's precedent for not doing a hard replacement and instead doing an option. One of the female Steampunk faces originally had makeup baked in. A seemingly valid argument was made late beta for removing the makeup since there were already makeup options and people wanted more control over it. Since no one else on Beta objected, it was eventually changed. This however caused issue with people who were using the face specifically because it had its own makeup. Furthermore, it was pointed out that the new face didn't take skin tones as well. An either/or option was never implemented to try to satisfy the valid points each side had. As already shown in the thread, people had gotten used to the previous style and were using it with their outfits.
