If it weren't for the "S" I wouldn't have recognized that as Superman.

I know he doesn't have the red pants in the comics nowadays, but he still needs them! It helps break up all the blue!

It just looks..........wrong!

Still hopeful for the film though.

At the very least, the belt would help.

That looks like something a fanboy made in photoshop.

I think he looks good actually but I agree with the above. When I 1st looked at the pic I knew something was missing and the undies are it.

If it weren't for the "S" I wouldn't have anything to distract from the crotch bulge. I get that the suit is supposed to be skin tight, but couldn't they have done something with that area? That bulge is going to be like three feet big in the theater.

Statesman is rolling over in his grave.

To hide his shame.

His suit is based off the more modern "New 52" look for Superman, found in the pic below. I agree, I think he could have used a belt to segment his torso from his legs, but as big a fan as I am for the "classic" look... I actually am glad they ditched the briefs. The

Given the rumors of them editing out Super's bulge in the last film, that probably IS them having "done something with that area."

You can't have a skin tight suit without a bulge unless there's simply nothing there.

Z_M's version looks good.

I dislike the new version of the costume in the comics. The red belt helps a bit, but it's no substitute for the red briefs and yellow belt.

What's with these forums and crotches lately?

Anyway, yeah, the version Zombie dug up looks way better. Still looking forward to a trailer, though.

Definitely an improvement. While I'm sure it looks better on film than in that poster my feeling is that if they're going to mute the colors that much they might as well use his black with silver emblem 'Resurrection' costume.

That looks less like a "heroic action" pose and more like a shot during his dance number to me. Or maybe some sort of themed cologne.

And yes, without a belt or *something* there that's ... very bland.

That looks much better- breaks up the monotone of the blue.
