The main reason R+L = J is so George can end the story with Jon and Dany getting married and Jon taking the Iron Throne. The Targaryens get to continue their freaky deaky ways (Dany would be Jon's aunt), and Jon actually has a claim to the North, so everyone is happy!

That said, almost all the information about said theory comes from Book 1 which I think at this point really isn't spoilery. But I agree with your sentiment and have made proper adjustments.

If your ever interested in a movie, show, game, book, anything. Don't go on forums where they talk about said subject. Seems to be the general rule of things. People obviously want to talk about the last/newest/shocking thing that happened in whatever series and bounce theories off each other.

I personally havent read the books. Did a little research and saw how long it takes this person to write. Dont like the idea of finishing a book and than not being able to get back into that world for years.

I don't know if anyone else ever visits Television Without Pity, but they have a forum there for each of the shows they review and spoilers are taken very seriously. Often a single episode of a show like Game of Thrones will generate 15-20 pages of discussion, and spoliers never come into the mix, so it's certainly possible. Of course each show's forum also has a spoliers and speculation section too.
