I screamed out Podrick! when that happened.

With no spoilers to the non readers, they have put out a new cast list for next season and based on what we've seen so far I think you can expect more awesome coming next year. Some great characters are added to the cast. Can't wait.

Expanding the conversation a bit. This was a breakout episode to really capture just how horrible Cersei and Joffrey (especially compared to their counterparts) are as people. And while Cersei will give reasons for her behavior (protecting her children, etc.) Joffrey is one of the few characters that has zero redeeming qualities. And in a world where characters float somewhere in the most gray of areas its nice to have someone that you can just hate because they are evil.

From a pure appreciation of brutality standpoint, I very much appreciated "Dog's" mutiple bisectings of enemy soldiers. You just don't see enough cleaving of people from shoulder to hip in movies these days...

And Stannis' skull cap removal of an opposing soldier was nice as well.

Amen.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

I love Poderick Payne. Do non-readers realize that he's Ilyn Payne's son?

Ilyn is the King's Headsman, so he took care of Ned, and he also was in the Keep during the siege to take care of the women should the city fall.

I'm not sure that was made clear.

EDIT: Wow, I just looked up Pod and I was totally wrong. They are from the same House, but Ilyn isn't his father. I've been thinking he was through the whole series!

A new guy started at my work recently, and although he's a pretty nice guy, I want to slap him every time I see him. He looks EXACTLY like an adult Joffrey. It's funny that I have not taken the time to get to know the new guy... and because he looks like a fictional character I hate... I have no desire to get to know him. I cannot rationalize this. I guess that's the mark of a good character, or the mark of me being bat-pancake crazy.

Thank you, Champion.

And word is he is the sweetest person and the total opposite of the character. Also he's retiring from acting after GoT is over and going out into the civilian world.

No nomination for Neil Marshall's direction for "Blackwater" or Maise Williams for Best Supporting Actress are snubs, IMO.

As always, its great to see it being recognized, but I really had hoped for a nomination for Maisie or Lena.

Edit- and Alfie Allen who may have out acted Dinklage this season.

I would have liked to see Tom Wlaschiha nominated for best supporting. Not because he was better than Peter or Masie but because I would have loved his acceptance speech (if he did it the way I would that is).
