Oh, you naughty naughty naughty naughty elf!
She's bent over like that because the present weighs so much (as a duplicating gift it's practically a singularity), she doesn't have any upper body strength, and she tried to hold it out and almost fell over! She's in the process of trying to regain her balance. Yeah, that's it.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

As a hater of all forms of censorship this is flippin awesome!
My favourite part
*box* by her *crotch*? |
ps. i went to lots of beaches as a kid and teen ya way more skin, with lots of hotties frolicking in the water/wet sand(essentially mud)
pps. teens are just becoming sexual creatures with puberty hitting them seems like the perfect image as a marketing ploy.
ppps. underwear is for old people.
Made me laugh
So, what does T for Teen mean anyway?
There's this: Wowsa. Look at all that leg showing! But that's nothing compared to the drawn version: From Paragon Studio's email advertising the Holiday Pack. So, what's being sold in this pic? Look, just like the Give Gift emote, she's giving a present. Only thing is, she's presenting like a baboon in estrus. And she's offering a box. A box by her crotch. A crotch that seems to imply she's not wearing anything over her crotch. Did I mention a *box* by her *crotch*? You know that looks nothing like the Give Gift emote, right? I expect such a graphic on the cover of Playboy. I've had a less revealing pic removed from the forums for not being "T for Teen." There's enjoying the beauty of the human form (even if green) and then there's overt sexual pandering. This is the latter. I'd rather have seen this elf nude in just the gloves and boots frolicking in the snow and throwing a snowball then... *this* pose. I mean, what was even the thought here: That you would get sales by sexualizing fur-lined clothing? Is there a big market for that fetish? "Oh, yeah, jus' like Mrs. Cluas, baby!" And when you were selling the Gunslinger Pack, where was the drawing of the shirtless cowboy in what appeared to be assless chaps? Oh, that wouldn't have been appropriate? Hmmm.... Yeah, I know, this thread will be full of those saying, "The comic book industry panders to cheap sex all the time." My response, "Yes, but Paragon Studios doesn't have to also." |
Shush boy, Shush your lips, do the Helen Keller and ..
Anyway.
It's cute, it's not really seductive in my eyes and the present is just plain adorable. I love the pose. It's a flirty innocent elf. You pervert. I think being a zombie might of dulled your eyes or has all that solitude from a wilting problem stirred up some deep rooted testosterone that you had once?
This coming from a woman, I see nothing provocative or wrong with that drawn picture.
Though I would rather she her running nude as well, but that's just me.
- This just in, my Hubby agrees -

Looks like a box by her knees to me. Considering how petite the elf is in that pic, I imagine her crotch is about where her belt is. If you want something to be outraged by, look at how she's squeezing her breasts with her elbows.
Personally, I like this pic. It caught me off-guard when I got it in the mail just because it has nothing to do with City of Heroes, but eh. The game can use more pics like that. It looks like a playboy trace? Possibly. I see nothing wrong with that. The more naughty stuff we can slip into a T for Teen game, the better as far as I'm concerned.
Besides, having a sexy green lady is a step up from just having a sexy lady, as far as I'm concerned. At least that's different.
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

oh ya and what about Mother Mayhem in the opening cut scene of BAF. LOL.
That boat already set sail.
I saw that picture on the updater, and my first response was
No complaints here.

You know they had to draw that because that character was just too ugly to keep for the picture of the month, right
Also, notice the hair she gets whereas everyone in game is forced to be bald.
Also, notice how they had to photoshop the ingame picture of her so she appears to be looking towards the camera.
I woulda said "No, you draw her, she looks too creepy ingame" too.
Still, what I always find interesting is that sexuality trumps violence in the complaints department.
In a game where we can run around with flamethrowers, swords, encase people in ice, summon demons, and more recently given oversized weapons of doom to smash people with - no one complains about that.
But show one picture of a semi-sexy elf and it's an issue.
Also on a side note, that style of artwork reminds me of stuff I've seen on Neopets, which is geared towards a younger audience.
Anyway, on a serious note, I don't have a problem with it. As you've said, we're on the internet and with that anyone can easily find things much explicit with ease.

Oh well. The pic doesn't bother me.

Yeah but just look at what the ribbon on her present spells out.
LOOK!
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
This thread is ridiculous. It must be taken down for the good of the forums.

"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."
Zombie's just too old to remember that teenage boys would likely be offended by a lack of "suggestive themes". Given the actual definition of 'T for Teen', and what I recall of teenagers, there is nothing inappropriate about the ad. Thankfully the game isn't rated C for Conservative Old Guys, or there might be an issue.
TEEN Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language. |
