The 3 Amigos
City Slickers
Kindergarten Cop
Total Recall
Twins
Junior
A good Horror Movie would do you good, I mean we all need some Horror in our life, it make things fun and Interesting, I would go with Hellraiser.

Some more:
Ice Pirates
The Legend of Drunken Master
Demolition Man
Conan the Barbarian
Conan the Destroyer
Mallrats
Office Space
Vacation
European Vacation
Christmas Vacation
Krull
Monster Squad
Revenge of the Nerds
GI Joe the Movie
As people have stated, it would be unmanageable for me to watch all the good movies worth watching out there in a reasonable period of time. This whole business became apparent upon my seeing a picture of the guy who played Marty Mcfly (sp?) in Back to the Future, and I said "Who is that?" Luckily, I have super-reflexes and was able to dodge most of the things thrown at me. The result? This thread. Hence we are gravitating towards movies of the same "generation" as Back to the Future.

Hehe, don't worry Freitag; I'm with ya (well not on the Back to the Future thing and not knowing who Michael J. Fox is/was)....
But I haven't seen about 90% of the movies people have listed (incl. Zwill's post).
And I'm not into scary/horror flicks either
Edit:
I remember one of my friends was all about the Blues' Brothers movie.
So finally one day/night I got it from Netflix and watched it....
I want my 2 hours (or more?) of my life back....ugh....do not want!

And how could you no recognize Micheal J. Fox? Next you'll be telling us you don't know who Molly Ringwald is or Matthew Broderick is.

Two movies that all the Devs will have to hand in their Nerd Cards over if they haven't/don't go see them:
The Gamers Haven't seen this. The Gamers: Dorkness Rising Or this.[/URL] They are also the ....minds.... behind Syphilitic Ninja Vampires |
I was so jealous of the snake in that movie
Anyways, if Feris Bueller's Day Off is on the list then; Better off Dead is required watching as well. Haven't seen this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8r6X-aDsJM and One Crazy Summer for added measure. Nor this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeF0Waa1Blw |
Seen Shaolin Soccer, haven't seen Drive. It's not on Netflix so until it is I won't see it. Yes you should watch those cuz they be good... I've seen Shaolin Soccer, but not Drive.

So...
Here's a question... It may seem kinda rude, but it's not meant as such... It seems you are lacking in a lot of cultural knowledge and this tends to indicate someone who doesn't associate with people and definitely not a group that would be considered nerds/geeks... Why would ever go for the position of Moderator? As I would argue that someone that doesn't have an understanding of such things might not be a good choice for that position...
Again, not trying to be rude... just curious >.>
Freitag....hand over your nerd card.....
Have you seen this one?
Y'know, the one with the woman who does this:
Real Genius - Everybody wants to rule the world
Lifeforce - Best British naked female space vampire movie of all time
Father Xmas - Level 50 Ice/Ice Tanker - Victory
$725 and $1350 parts lists --- My guide to computer components
Tempus unum hominem manet

High Road to China. It might be hard to find, but it's a fun adventure flick. And everyone needs exposure to Tom Selleck's glorious 'stache.
Born in East LA. I think it was Cheech Marin's first solo film, and it's hilarious. I'd recommend watching Up In Smoke first (yes yes, 1978, I know), but Born in East LA is a good into to Cheech.
Goodbye, I guess.

Give movie's the elbow and go buy yourself the box Series 1-3 Fringe, is an awesome set that you can get into very quickly.
Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt
Frietog - Hackers is not about a military computer - that'd be WarGames, I'm thinking.
Hackers has a very young Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller (young enough they don't look like their older selves, especially Joile). It's humor, 1996 or so, has them getting framed for a virus that sinks a tanker. I always enjoy it.
PS - the pool on the roof must have a leak.
Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
- Back to the Future (1,2 and 3) - Not seen? WHAT?
- Weird Science - Not seen? WHAT?
- Breakfast Club - Not seen? WHAT?
- Goonies
- Swingers
- Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
- Swingers
- Poltergeist
- Exorcist
- Little Shop of Horrors - Not seen? WHAT?
- Men in Tights - Not seen? WHAT?
- Spaceballs - Not seen? WHAT?
- Clue - Not seen? WHAT?
- Legend
- Blazing Saddles - Not seen? WHAT?
- Sixteen Candles
- Pretty In Pink
- Beetlejuice
- Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Not seen? WHAT?
- Forrest Gump
- Nightmare on Elm Street
- Friday the 13th (IRONIC HUH?)
- Hellraiser
- Romancing the Stone
I'll admit I generally avoid horror types, and I think I've avoided most of the ones on the list.
I'd say, Clue, Men in Tights, and Spaceballs need to be seen this weekend, in that order. Might want to see Blazing Saddles before Men in Tights - slight reference there.
Now I want to go watch them...
Prince John: And why should the people listen to you?
Robin Hood: Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.
