No it isn't. If it were a *choice,* maybe.

As it is, this makes me shelve mine until it's fixed. And mine's my favorite character.

I'm working on the assumption that it's a bug and will be fixed shortly. If it STAYS that way, I'm going to be severely disappointed. (And add it to the list.)

Does it really surprise anyone that they omitted the AE changes from the notes? Note that I also think it's dumb, but it's a dumb thing they've been doing forever.

Edit: If they needed MARTy to figure out the rez and ambush changes, there really is no hope. (For anything they do.)

Still don't care for the cluttered badge setup.
And the UI resetting. OK, we're not only a subscriber based game anymore. A free player logs on, gets this bug again and again , complains in Help channel and leaves in disgust.

This should not have gone live =[.

MARTy is a catch all, not the only solution. MARTy prevents exploits from being onerous while the devs figure out a permanent fix.

This "bug" is the only good thing about this entire issue. Congrats.

Well, I'll be taking a break from the game until these issues are fixed. My sub renewal date is a couple days away too, so I might delay my resubbing until the fixes arrive.

Hmm, let's see:

"Custom enemies." Given I don't know where things will spawn, and my system can load slowly, I'll grab a breakfree (especially on squishies,) possibly some purples, eat those and restock, especially on lowbie to mid level characters that don't have a lot of inspiration room. Just so I'm not killed while loading, and am ready to go as soon as I enter.


Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

Seriously, Zwil, just sayin', but BvP? I know it's a bug right now, and I know that in its current form it should prolly be swatted, but still...MAKE IT SO. I am sticking a Danger Room in my base this afternoon. I am sooooo not kidding.

You do know that you can't place mobs in AE? That they use the standard spawn points in the maps? That they can be set to patrol? That some can be near the entrance - just like in regular missions?

Yes, you can work around it by ambushes, but hazardous mobs can be there in normal missions too.

Well, by fixing it that would mean that they'd found out what was causing it, so they could use that as the start of the code to enable hostile base items.

Thanks for the info Zwill, but if it was already addressed in an upcoming build, why push this build live? This bug effects a majority of players (F2P, Premium, & VIP), if not all of them (AFIAK). Seems like a bad decision to push this patch out, even with the new Incarnate abilities (that only VIP players can access).

So, I haven't checked out any of the other new stuff in this release, because I have been gleefully floating and rotating objects in my base. I don't have a base with the suddenly possessed defensive items in it...though I'm thinking long and hard about adding that room.

Seriously Zwill, from what I've seen in the Help channel and on here, most of us base editors actually LIKE this bug. The ability to make a danger room would be so fun...if you guys could figure out a way for us to 'toggle' the aggressive tendencies so we could still use the items decoratively in room we want to have them in.

My guess: this was an unexpected bug, one of which they were not previously aware, but easily fixable. Thus, the "upcoming build" (probably coming early next week) will have this and anything else they are able to fix in the mean time.
