To be fair, the limitation was in place prior to the ability to mail items. Hopefully it will get looked at, and hopefully it won't be to much effort (difficulty and/or time) to add in the exception to self.

so will these pga patches all over RV be left here until server reset? also does the player power work the same way?

Knock on wood, I haven't had my UI reset automatically since maintenence.

However, I still find it obscenely laggy and v-memory draining in Atlas Park (especially the top instance)

Ran into a "new" one today, possibly an edge-case. Reported in-game, but I figured I'd post here as well, so others can keep an eye out for it.

I leveled a Praetorian grav/psi Dominator to 18, trained him and took Hasten - the Speed powerset is now in my powers list, but the power did not auto-populate to my tray, and Hasten was still grayed out in the LIST; I couldn't drag and drop it.

I had to log out of the game to force it to be available, and it auto-populated normally, possibly as a consequence of my window settings being reset.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

An odd nerf to something that was only minimally useful before.
Since it is "minimally useful", I'm willing to accept it so that I can get rid of the non-combat pets more easily.

While it should of been in the live notes, not surprised if they thought it an exploit. If they wanted us to avoid the 30 second cooldown for logoff, they wouldn't make us suffer it when doing "Menu->Quit->To Character Select"
Very valid points. It's just fairly annoying, and added to the other annoyances this issue brought.
I'm really not certain what the 30 second timer is trying to accomplish. If it's meant to make logging out a way to avoid death, I'd be more than willing to accept a, "Drop directly and instantly to the Server select screen, but your alt dies automatically," button.

Except it does nothing to help with that, since the quit to desktop command doesn't have a timer.

Has anybody actually classified their own emails as spam?
Yes, that makes me a bit edgy too. I try to be very careful about that, haven't accidentally clicked it yet.

I have accidentally tried to claim something a few times when inventory was full.. you then have to clear space in your inventory, and try to claim something else, which will then give you an error that there's already a transaction pending, which will then drop the item into your inventory. Not sure what happens if you have nothing else to claim.. dunno how you'd force the "pending" item into your inventory.

At the end of the second mission in Who Will Die part 2 (Hero), I was not given a dialog option to accept the third mission from Michael Binocolo. The arc is currently uncompletable.

I used /BuyCOH constantly. Whilst it opened up a useless (to me) web-page, it quit out of the game immediately, and let me logon again and select a different character -- when swapping items between character it was an invaluable tool.

It was also great for switching from one server to another within a few seconds, rather than the tedious 'wait for countdown' timer. My character was still able to be victimised by critters; I didn't care, I just wanted to logout and switch.

The SAME functionality is there already with Quit to Desktop. The overhead of restarting the game adds about 15 seconds to the process, but it's STILL faster to switch by quitting the client, restarting, and logging in again (macro keys for password entry, um ah!)

Coming back with 'oh, they don't sell the game anymore so the command is pointless' is a -useless- comment, and just the kind of narrow-minded contrarianism that this forum encourages, when customers are hell-bent on being unpaid apologetic forelock tugging company-line serfs, spouting the gospel to all who dare to question The State Of The Game. Which is to say, spare me the song and dance about a command not being 'needed' when in fact it WAS used, by many people, to serve a very valid and useful purpose.

The 'secret' command to open up the auction house (for those who have it unlocked) is not plain /ah, since that just throws up a message about not being available inside the base. It's a devious toggle command , and no, I'm not telling ya precisely what the secret is, because I don't want the developers to remove it, in-base market access is very useful for organising racks of salvage and enhancements within the base. Removing the functionality (even with the cited 'server load' problem that people parrot) seems to be another of those 'we restrict it because we can' moves.

I was up for renewal the 13th. I have just made sure that won't happen. The friend I was playing with quit a week back anyway, this is just a final straw occurrence. For what it is worth I blame NCSoft management and not the Paragon staff.
ur stuf can i haz?

Leaving game-breaking bugs in is what is going to enrage people. People were angry at a 6-hour downtime that was announced barely ahead of time - and frankly, they were right to be at this point, because 90% of what this patch introduced was a bunch of bugs that RUINED the game for many of us. I was fine with that 6 hour downtime when it happened - I'm not anymore, since apparently it was a 6-hour "destroy the game" patch.

This needs to be hotfixed, NOW.

This sort of stuff might be acceptable from a beta, or a brand-new released game. From a 7 year old veteran MMO? No. not even a little.
Most of the people that came down on me because I was outraged for the unusual downtime have suddenly been quiet, or non existent.

Being mad about "unannounced" down-time is still ridiculous, since they openly retain the right to do so, at need.

I continue to remain pissed about the "uptime" that has followed...

Well, if you have a couple of cheap, white salvage bits hanging about, you can test this.

Mail one bit to yourself, and make sure it's the only thing you have to claim. Fill up your salvage inventory, then try to claim it. Once it fails, mail yourself a new piece of white salvage (and clear out some of the extra space you need for both bits), then do the claim as usual. If it works, then you've got the force-drop.

Pets
  • The following list of pets have been turned into mutually exclusive toggles. This means that you may only have one of these pets out at any given time. Going forward, vanity pets will all fall into this category.
    • Rikti Pet
    • Demon Pet
    • Mekman Pet
    • Redcap Pet
    • Clockwork Pet
    • German Shepherd Pet
    • Light Fairy Pet
    • Dark Fairy Pet
    • Blue Wisp Pet
    • Red Wisp Pet
    • Shield Oscillator Pet
    • Power Oscillator Pet
    • Shield Drone Pet
    • Power Drone Pet
    • Cherub Pet
    • Mini SnowBeast Pet
    • Vanguard MVAS
1. I'd like to suggest that the Buff Pets not be treated like vanity pets. We should be able to have one of each out.

2. I have a complaint about process: There have been a dozen threads talking about this, and no word from any Dev or Moderator about it. Is it a 'fix' or a 'bug'?......... Silence.

This was not in the Beta Patch Notes. Nor was in the original patch notes published on 11/10. It was added after the fact after most forumites read the OP. I point you to this:

You added that in after the fact without any other post saying the Patch Notes was updated, thus bypassing the Community Digest.

I am... perturbed at the lack of communication and faulty procedures that exacerbate that lack of communication.

LOL!! Very funny. Well said, too, and I concur.

I am not sure if it is deliberate or not, but I have noticed a few badges have been missing. At least 1 or 2 from the Supergroup Badges. And tips are disappearing off of my characters (without crossing over to the other side). Just something I noticed the last 2 days, thought I'd mention it.

You would be more preturbed if you were aware of his "community co-ordination" over on Warhammer Online....

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

The following patch note has been updated:

Incarnate Rewards
  • The Underground Incarnate Trial will always award a Rare or Very Rare component after successful completion of the Avatar of Hamidon encounter for players who participate for the entire event's duration.
This seems really nice in theory. In practice well, I can count on a pretty high rate of client crashes in the underground trial. Do you really want people not getting the shiny because of crashes ?
