This is just as epically funny as Walken reading Lady Gaga lyrics.

Ah, but isn't that kinda the point of doing it?

I've always said the William Shatner's most popular character is 'William Shatner'.

Oddly enough, the fact that Shatner is singing, er, reciting these lyrics makes them make a whole lot more sense.

The creepy cgi face is worse than the song. It's usually just in a blank stare as the mouth moves.

Watching this has convinced me that William Shatner is is dead, and the Illuminati has replaced him with a CGI duplicate to keep those who might actually be able to recognize the patterns this video indicates pacified with something so ineffable we can't begin to counter their true purpose.

Of couse if you take me seriously, I disavow all knowledge of this post...

Who indeed...

I couldn't agree more.

Yep like Cowman said he's making money with his songs -because- he can't really sing.

I've liked him for years but it's even... debatable-whether... he... could... ever-act... either.

And quite a few other classics.... TBH, that snippet of "Learning to Fly" isn't all that bad IMO.

I can't wrap my head around this statement. Are you being intentionally facetious or strictly serious?

Also, he apparently wants to settle things with Takei

To be honest, I would think these two would sit down and hash things out. This "feud" of theirs has gone a bit too long. Not sure I believe Shatner when he says he never said anything "mean" about George at all over the years as it's possible his memory may be skipping a few beats.

I was thinking that as well. Hell, you could even interpret the damage he's allegedly done to a few peoples careers as 'killed a man'.

haha, this is just... lol.

One song of his I love I can't quite remember the name of, however he sang it with Leonard Nemoy and it was lord of the rings based.

If anyone knows the name of the song and can tell me, I'll ♥ you

This is so bad it's good. And while Shatner's music career is traditionally mocked, I have to note that I was surprised to find his album Has Been to be pretty decent.

The only Nimoy LotR song I've heard is The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins, and I don't recall it having Shatner in it.

That's the one :d Might have been just Nimoy, but it was released on an album with both him and Shatner on it, I believe
