In the future, when populations inevitably drop again, exalted will be more susceptible to those losses than the other servers.
So, best of all worlds, it comes out slightly behind the other servers which do not have those two particular shortcomings.
Watching my global chat channels it would seem kicking puppies, pushing little old ladies, and stealing candy from babies would all be a step up from playing on Exalted.
It really seemed like everyone that wasn't on Exalted was busy poisoning the well there.

Seriously... I have made a Beam Rifle / Time Manip Corruptor there, and played for a few hours.

I never was persuaded onto Defiant back in the early days of EU CoH.
I never was persuaded onto Virtue when the server lists merged.
And I doubt I'll get persuaded onto Exalted with CoH: Freedom.
Union's been my home for coming up to 7 years. Exalted might have fields of cookie shrubs and developer contests on it, but I'mma stay on Union till the servers go dark.

I am only asking those who are saying that the server is terrible, or full of Elitest Jerks, check it out for themseleves before forming that opinion.
I am asking that instead of believing what someone else is saying about the server, if you think badly of it than come and see for yourself.
I don't want anyone to leave their home servers, I just want the server to not be miss-judged. The same as I am sure if every other server thought bad things about Union which could scare off several potiental players I am sure you would want people to know it isn't really like that.

There are people out there who love to jump into situations which involve "restricted membership" or "exclusive awards" and blow them completely out of proportion. I never had any doubt that a few of those people would pop up on Exalted and show themselves for the idiots they are - it's just going to have to be a semi-constant annoyance to deal with there.
Hopefully the player community of this game is mature enough in general to keep much of that to a bare minimum.

Glad to see you're passionate about Exalted though!
If Exalted is so great the LAST thing you want to do is come on the boards and crow about it. It will only attract the griefers and ******* to ruin it for you and everyone else. Best to just make your own happy corner of CoH.

Jokes aside, Exalted is awesome. It's my new home.
I've been on Exalted for one main reason: 12 new slots feed my alt-itis. And I haven't noticed any of the elitism that's supposedly there. The only difference I've noticed is that low level zones are more likely to have multiple instances, something which is likely temporary.

I saw what going free-to-play did to another MMOG. As a result, I transferred all four of my favorite level 50 toons to Exalted, made a few new toons, and called the server home. Does that make me an elitist jerk? Perhaps. Do I care? Nope.

Exalted seems to be like every other server I have played on. The only difference I have seen is I have gotten names on that server that haven't been available on any of the others in years.
Created a couple of new characters and Exalted seems like a fine server. Of course, I play alone with Help, Broadcast and Local removed from active Chat. If there is any fuss going on, I am totally unaware and immune to it.
