I dont understand why they keeping the old ugly low-res model of the City representative. I bet they doing the same with Azuria if she is still around.
Please devs, if you are working so hard to make an old zone look beatiful, do the same with those ultra ugly NPCs.
Maybe replace all the old citizens for new ones like Praetoria had (Where everytime is more common to see the old citizens again, and the new ones are missing ) is too much work, but some of the important NPCs and contacts deserve actual models that doesnt hurt our eyes, please!

It cant be that difficult to make new models for some of them, like Azuria, City representative, SG registrer... I mean, we see them all time, please upgrade them!

I tried to stay close to the look of someone we have seen thousand of times and was there for more than 7 years.

I gotta say I love the new CoT. I know Im the only one, but I like them!

No one else noticed the City Hall interior is still single story with domed ceiling and old tech copy reflection of said room and dome, whereas the exterior and loading screens now show it to be a 2 story building?

I chose the face I did cause it kinda keeps that world-weary look the original has on her face. And while i'd never wear red shoes with that outfit... I picked the bridal heels cause they are kinda chunky like her original shoes.
This is my favorite of the "upgrade with minimal changes" suggestions. Adjust the scale sliders a bit to match the original body more closely, post the code for the dev's reference and I think it's a winner.

Shame those shoes have clunky legs to go with them.
You can actually make out when on the upper shin the 2 parts meet as there is a major jagged edge and difference in skin tone.

It looked slightly darker ingame, but it's fixable

Idea is to give them something to work from...
The colors used would be part of any tweaking.

(Try the costume yourself, you have the costume file information...
I however have no control over the levels of ingame lighting.)

His old pants are just ripped jeans, which is why they're this kind of blue. I wouldn't worry about keeping consistent with their colour if you're not going for a jeans look.

Everything else on that V2 is aces, though. I love it. It's consistent with the old contact's general look and story, and it came out pretty nice. I approve

I decided to take a stab at Rick Davies. I don't know wether to be happy with the result or not. Nothing comes close to his shirt of course (jester was an interesting failure on that path), so I ended up with an argyle sweater vest. And the bald guy on a phone vibe isn't much to work with in the first place... Background has him as one of the first power armor users but to injured to keep up heroics, so being a jerk I decided to represent those career ending injuries by scarring up his face and chopping off his foot (I even tried the pirate hook, but that was pretty laughable). The belt and gloves I threw in as leftovers from the Horatio armor (alas poor Yorick) and I have him actually tinkering rather then just chatting with his girlfriend Caitlin on the phone all the time.

Failure? Success? Should I have gone with the pirate-hook jester thing after all?

A success in concept, but I'm not a fan of the peg leg. Thing is, this is a tech guy. If he lost his leg, he'd have a prosthetic, not a rotten wood stick. Even absent of future technologies, we have very realistic, largely operational prosthetics right now. Not sure I like the eye patch, either, for the same reason.

Personally, I'd have gone with a missing arm and given him the Cyborg one as a replacement, and instead of the eye patch, I'd have used that one single cyber eye piece. He may end up looking a bit... Unpleasant, but he'll at least be interesting. And since Robotic Arms torsos don't allow for that cardigan, I'd go for a simple shirt, instead.

Yeah, it also forced me to give him those huge ugly pants do to the mounting point cutting through any normal pants unless he was built much more muscular then I was happy with. I'll give him his foot back and try some different torso/eye options tonight and see what I comes up with.
