New people get to pick and choose the order they receive things in the tiers....Veterans don't because technically they should have it all already...

And what about Veterans who HAVEN'T been here since launch? Unless I'll still be at tier 9 ish anyway, in which case that's less of an issue.

Maybe it needs clearer explaining, or the UStream (which I can't watch till Saturday, due to the net on hols being pants) will make it clearer...

We'll know all about this before it goes Live. As it is, several weeks/months away is plenty of warning. It's not a supported use of the market, and they'll be letting us know when everything is going down.

Veterans do get to pick what they want in the new system. You keep all of the old Vet rewards, and pick what you want of the new rewards. Why would you want to lose old rewards, even if you didn't use them, when you are getting the new stuff on top of it already? Hell, depending on the amount of tokens you have, you'll probably get all the new rewards in one swoop once this goes live.

New players have to pick between the old stuff and the new stuff, and they don't have this instant 'get everything' drop when Issue 21 hits. They have to climb their way up the Reward Tree, while the Devs are basically taking the Vets and setting them up in the luxury tree-house at the top.

Only thing we can't seem to do with this new Reward Tree is throw apples at the freeps as we watch them climb. Not that anyone would want to do that... <shiftyeyes>

Nope. New material these days come as boosters for the most part. If I dont like what in the booster, I dont get it. Anything that has been released lately has been incarnate or praetorian content that going rogue paid for

You mean like the prestige sprints, old zones, and reskinned mobs? Pretty sure I prefer the work that has been done lately. You get em tiger. You can do it without sounding entitled.

Have you ever tried to sell a 50+ enhancement? Doubt they wil be sellable unless through chat/forums etc.

I'm personally of the belief that the only stupid question is the one unasked. Please don't think of yourself that way.

You will only lose things if you go premium. You will be somewhere in tier 8 of the rewards program. You'll be losing out on the Incarnate System, Epic Archetypes, Special VIP stuff (free transfers, extra Paragon Points),and whatever rewards you haven't claimed by dropping to premium.

Why speculate? That is exactly how it was described in the ustream chat.

Actually I was refering to this point:
You went off on a rant, with absolutely no basis for it other than reading into the graphic, and came up with a conclusion that is so off the mark that it might as well not be on the same planet.

However, the Celestial Set, according to Black Pebble in the video I linked to, said that it is a FULL set. Including weapon customizations.

And they are still addressing those issues. Then again, they have to allocate the time from somewhere.

Everything in the new rewards program will likely arrive via certificates and vouchers. It should make claiming everything more streamlined instead of the cludgy way the Veteran Rewards are currently claimed. As to the order in the powers window, that is a separate issue, and belongs in the Suggestions Section.

I'm not clear on what your concern is here.

Yes, all the things you've previously earned via Veteran Rewards look like they will be pre-selected for you. However, from there onwards, you'll be able to select the order in which you get your rewards within a tier. Since they're granting tokens for every year you've been subscribed (new benefit), you should have at least a few unspent tokens that you'll be able to pick & choose the order in which you'll acquire the rewards within the tier you end up starting in.

The new guys will need to select everything you've already got to get to where you are now, they "just" get to change the order that they get them in.

Some people seem to be down-playing the benefit to picking the order in which you acquire rewards within a tier, but let me tell you, I certainly look forward to picking up the "Reveal" power "early" on my second account! Some of the other rewards look nice, but "Reveal" is the one I want ASAP! And now I have the option to do so once that account gets to tier 7. Seems pretty spiffy to me.

I don't know if that addresses your concern since I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I hope I got lucky & addressed it anyway. If not, please do try to express your concern more fully & hopefully that information is already available & someone can ease your mind!

Nope, but we don't exactly how these things will function either. Instead of it being a 50(+1) def enhancement it might actually turn into a 51.

Granted, that is not how enhancements show up when you combine them now, but you never know for sure. We aren't even positive that they will add a level to the existing enhancement yet.

Just some food for thought.

Avatar generally means "Character". So, going by that F2P (not Premium, as they start at Tier 2) players are limited to only Female and Male character builds.

Inside the costume creator under Body, there is Female, Male, and Huge. Freems do not get immediate access to the Huge body.

I would guess the from the slides in the OP, the Free players only get access to the regular Male & Female forms, not Male Huge until they reach Tier 2.

Now if there's a female huge added... (One could only hope...)

Ahh got it. Thank you everyone. It never entered my head that the Devs could bifurcate the different character models to make one for pay and one for free. That's pretty mind-blowing for some reason to me because I thought all the models would be included in the character creation.

Most of mine is stick in the vending machine. SHAKE IT.

Well, if I have, for example only, all the past vet rewards auto-picked, and a choice of one new one (1 token) when this goes live.

Say there are three new things that I like the look of and am able to get. However, I can only get one. ALL my other points have been auto-applied. I would much rather NOT have the Greek Letters and Vanity pets (Never ever use them) and instead be able to pick the three things I would like.

Now, I may be totally misunderstanding how the system works, which is more than likely given I can't get at the Ustream atm. However, if the above is true, whats the point in having 'Freedom' when all choice gets taken from you (as a vet making picks)

If it is a tiered system (looked a little like it in the screenies) and I would have to take Greek Letters and vanity pets anyway to get to the next level, then fair enough. No problem with that.

It's if I could skip them until very last in favour of something I would much rather have, without me getting the option, that I'd get miffed.
