Sound Effects

  • Fixed an issue which was causing many ambient sounds to be muted
  • The Neutropolis industrial zone is one area which should sound much livelier
League
  • The wait time to increase the size of an open league has been lowered from 5 minutes to 90 seconds.
  • This is the time that players in an Open league have to wait for so more players have time to join before the Incarnate Trial starts.
  • XP will now scale properly for leagues larger than 9 players.
  • League leaders should now be able to invite players into a league while on an Incarnate Trial map
Incarnate Trial : Keyes Island Reactor
  • Pets will no longer count against earning the Avoids the Green Stuff badge
Costumes


Steampunk
  • Huge: Sideburns should now blend properly with Steampunk Beard
  • Female: Victorian Steampunk Bustier should no longer have clipping issues with tight and skin upper body
CITY OF HEROES
  • None
CITY OF VILLAINS

I appreciate that it's probably not a quick fix, but I was hoping to see a fix for the team UI where team members health/endurance aren't visible. That is one seriously annoying bug.

Very, very glad to see the fixes to iXP and League invites. Thank you very much for that.

Yeah, I completely agree, especially if you're playing a support character. Bad enough that the team UI no longer shows readable numbers by design, now due to the bug, I can't see some of my teammates health or end at all on the team list, meaning I have to try to keep an eye on them amidst the mobs.

This also.

Very glad about the ixp though, I stopped working on my Blaster's lore slot out of frustration. (He has his t3 crafted already and about 17% xp, and I already paid for 2 other slots with inf/threads.)

I mostly solo, so I wasn't aware of this bug until this week when boyfriend and I played together. Wow! That's one of the most annoying bugs I've seen in some time. And from what he told me, it's been like that for a while? Yikes.

^This absolutely! It is most annoying for everyone playing a support toon, and for those tanking who watch for the team members health dropping to focus on taunting other NPC's. It's close to game breaking IMO...

There are two different workarounds for the team window bug (star swapping, leader entering last); there are no workarounds for borked XP or a badge not awarding right. So the team UI bug isn't quite as urgent.

Guessing the costume stuff was just there and ready to go so thrown in.

No fix for the frequent game crashing issue some of us are experiencing yet then .. ah well .. maybe one day.. I understand it's probably not a straight forward issue .. can't blame me for hoping though ...

So... any progress towards fixing the AI where untouchable is concerned? Ice tanks and illusionists everywhere await eagerly the day when bad guys resume attacking the untouchable.

I guess there were 3 then. I was aware of 2, one of which you mentioned, 1 you didn't.

The one you didn't mention, just in case anyone needs it:
A quick kick and re-invite once in the mission also fixes it. Useful in case the star swap doesn't work or you are unwilling to give up the star.

Are you running an ATI video card, and if so, which set of drivers? 11.6 (the current ones - which I believe Windows UPdate also puts in) has been particularly nasty about crashing.

Hi Memphis Bill - funny I just updated my ATI drivers to 11.6 in the hopes that would fix the problem - should I go back to older drivers?

It's funny - I stopped playing about 3 - 4 months ago when I wasn't experiencing any crashes but since I've been back the last couple of weeks I average a crash every hour r so of play

I'm having the same problem with my Ati radeon HD 5700 series. So it's an issue they are aware of and have been aware of for some time.

I'm sure they'll address the driver issue once they have addressed more important issues like victorian bustier clipping with other costume pieces and sideburns.
