    EU originally and only just got a few toons on the merged server list, and unfortunately none on Virtue. When I checked after realising the server had been changed, the name for the toon was already gone so the theme would need redone and costume pieces unlocked if I rolled fresh. That's why I was transferring a toon to start with, all was unlocked and ready to go. Being on vacation 3500 miles from my home PC will hamper playtime needed to roll and unlock costume parts.

    I'll probably attend to see the efforts that others have made as I love the generally good humored banter at the CC's.
  2. Pity I've already used up a server transfer the day after this was announced to take a toon to Exhalted for the contest.

    Don't really know if I can be bothered to waste another transfer and a subsequent one to take the toon home again afterwards.

    Glad I checked the forums though, as the launcher still says the contest is on Exalted.
  3. I've been running the sig arcs across a lot of my toons since release and the consistent behavior that I've experienced is that if there are 2 people on the team, it will always disband, if there are more, then the team will remain.

    I've not seen any other behavior and I've done a lot of sig arc runs over the last 3 weeks.
  4. I've been running with FSAA turned off this evening and I've not experienced the drop in FPS... Will continue to run with this and see if it does indeed act as a band-aid for the issue.

    ** I should add that I dropped from the 280.26 drivers back to 275.xx and the problem persisted, so I upgraded again to 280.26 and still had the issue before turning off FSAA

Prior to i21 I was able to run with pretty much everything maxed out with the graphics, but since i21 publish, I've had this 'shadows' bug and in a few maps I've had the frame rate drop into the teens if not single figures and this seems to be in areas with a bright localised light source. I've tried these areas with shadows off, and the frame rate still stutters into the teens, so it's not only shadows causing issues.

    Thankfully the new maps for the signature arc look amazing and don't suffer from whatever is causing the graphics lag/stutters.

    Overall I love the updates and new content in i21, I just wish it carried none of these little niggles and issues with it.
  6. I've had the exact same issue. The only temporary fix I've found (and made support aware of) is to open your graphics options, and move the Shadow Quality slider down to 0 and back to where you would normally have it. Temporary fix as you will end up having to do this every time, but it's better than a full client restart which I was doing as well initially :S

    You don't need to hit apply, just move the slider and close the options again.

  7. Just logged off Defiant. The netgraph is a lot healthier looking, with no red spikes when running around the zone but my ping was spiking massively. Entered a mission and my ping would shoot from ~220 up to over 1200 every minute or two, powers wouldn't fire and I got mapservered on 3 occasions in the one mission.

    Unfortunately it's time for bed, so I can't spend longer in game to see if this remains consistently across missions and zones. Hopefully they can resolve this before the weekend.
  8. UK based here and having the same issues. Lots of red and yellow lag spikes. Not affecting game play when traveling around zones that much, but in mish I'm getting severe lag and the buff bar is completely erratic as to what actually gets shown and click powers shown as constantly activating.

    This was fine yesterday afternoon (UK) but when I logged and came back to the game later in the evening it was making the game unplayable.
  9. I appreciate that it's probably not a quick fix, but I was hoping to see a fix for the team UI where team members health/endurance aren't visible. That is one seriously annoying bug.

    DB server error

    On Defiant I cannot get into Atlas, and any character that does try, after killing the client and relogging, is messed up. They appear to log into the zone they tried to enter Atlas from, but cannot activate any powers.
  11. I'd like to thank NCSoft for making this donation.

    Regardless of whatever publicity they may gain from the act, the act itself will help others and that is to be applauded and as said, will hopefully encourage other companies to do likewise.

  13. Was on a Khan TF this evening on a Rogue MM with one other Rogue MM and 5 heroes. When entering a mission from the RWZ portal instead of a regular tram entrance, both myself and the other MM were able to target and kill heroes and visa versa.

    We left RWZ and entered the mission from a regular tram and we were no longer able to target each other.

    No mission reset required, no log off and on again.

    Simply enter the mission via an entrance that only the original intended audience entered could have possibly entered by possibly?

  16. I noticed this was happening a lot on a bots MM last night. After the ranged attacks had fired, they would all immediately run into melee range. Commands to pull them back would not work as they would turn, run half way back and then as they wanted to attack again they would close into melee range again (pets in bodyguard mode).

    I was having to set them to passive to call them back.

    I'm not sure if this is something that has gotten worse as a result of DS coming along, as it's always been somewhat of an issue. I've thought for some time that there should be a way of telling the pets to stay and attack, ignoring melee powers and sticking to ranged only.

    I've always felt that the pet AI has always been pretty poor and the job of the MM now is to micromanage every pets action, which in a team situation can be a pain as team members expect MM's to heal/buff them and ignoring their pets.

    Tried again today and it's worked. I did notice a Forums UI bug. I have 2 characters with the same name on different servers. A hero on Defiant and a villain on Union. When I selected the Defiant hero for copy, and then went in to copy another character from Union, the villain on Union was showing the copy in progress message.

    I say UI bug as only the selected hero was actually copied so it would appear the Forums UI works off solely from the character name and doesn't take server into account.
