Devs, can you make gravity control worth taking, please?

Gravity control IS worth taking. For controllers.

Wavicle, Energy/Energy Blaster, dinged 50 in Issue 4, summer of 2005.
@Wavicle, mostly on the Justice server.

That, sir, is an opinion, one with which I will respectfully disagree.

I agree my level 50 Gravity Controller absolutely rocks and many a villain in PvP has had their opinion changed from the asphalt with me leering over them

Personally I fully intend to make a grav/time controller the instant it goes live. Gravity may not be mechanically the best set, but it has the ability to pick up a whole group of mobs and teleport them into the sky. How can you say no to that.

Aside of being cool... Grav/time manip troller is the best way you can go to make a time traveller. Time travel works around wormholes and gravity manipulation. So the two powers fit in concept with each other.

- The Italian Job: The Godfather Returns #1151
Beginner - Encounter a renewed age for the Mook and the Family when Emile Marcone escapes from the Zig!
- Along Came a... Bug!? #528482
Average - A new race of aliens arrives on Earth. And Vanguard has you investigate them!
- The Court of the Blood Countess: The Rise of the Blood Countess #3805
Advanced - Go back in time and witness the birth of a vampire. Follow her to key moments in her life in order to stop her! A story of intrigue, drama and horror! Blood & Violence... not recommend to solo!

Unless we're talking about fiction, time travel doesn't really work at all currently. Sure, there are theories about how it could work, but it's all speculation.

If we are talking about fiction, then time travel works however the author decides it works. Usually though, they just assert that it does work and continue the plot from there. My favorite time travel stories would require Time Manipulation/Curtains or Time Manipulation/Oxford Computer bank.

Gravity is an amazing controller set. Hands down one of the strongest

I honestly rather enjoy my Gravity controller, I just kind of wish that:

a) Its animations weren't so slow
b) I hadn't gone with Force Fields as the secondary.

Thats my combgination and it rules!!!

Or at least I think it does.

It's always worked for me.

Yes. I can get lost on a straight-line map.

Alas, I already rolled a time traveller character about a year or so ago using Gravity and Kinetics (which surprisingly works rather believably). Perhaps I'll use this new Time Manipulation set for his Praetorian counterpart (which won't necessarily be a different version of him, but instead rather a potential colleague).

Just roll him again, and it'll be him from the future, after he improves his time abilities.

Ehh... not really much of a re-roller. Like I said, the powers he has now already work decently for the concept.

Oh, I said I liked mine and I do. It also works fairly well, especially at moving around enemies. That doesn't mean I don't have some issues with it too though.

Same thing goes for my 'main' character ... which is an energy/dev blaster. I love the character, but I'd never in a million years level a single other blaster with devices as the secondary set again. Unless of course, they did a pass of the set and it was improved for team play somewhat.

I don't mean re-roll him. I mean roll him again. Add a beard. Just have two of him existing in the same time stream. Though never online at the same time because that would create some sort of paradox.

Find me a feasible gravity build and I'll make one. My plan was to make a grav/time troller if there isn't a time control set down the pipeline. I hope there is one, it would be weird to have a power set like that without another one that compliments it (stuff like dual pistols and archery is complimented by devices, I have thought this out).

All these great names are taken!

Faster animation times would be great for gravity. I dropped propel on my gravity/kinetics because by the time propel animated, the dots/procs would have killed them.

No one pays attention to me, cause I listen to the voices in my head.

I love Gravity Control, my Grav/TA is a blast to play (and soon with Freedom I'll have access to him again) but I couldn't honestly say Grav was hands down one of the strongest control sets in any way shape or form.

Oooooooooh! Gravity! All this time I thought everybody was talking about the woefully underapprecated gravy control power set. As for me, I'm specifically going to avoid rolling a gravity/time controller just because everybody else will be doing it.

So much this.

I love Gravity, but it's nowhere near top of the heap for control sets.

I'll probably be one of the people who makes a Grav/Time Controller, and maybe a Mind/Time too.
