Yes, AR has a steampunk weapon.

A request: Can the costume parts that currently only take one color (male Victorian Steampunk sleeves, both pairs of male boots) please have the non-color-changeable details (buckles, trim) changed to take the secondary costume color?

Didn't get much chance to test this evening, but I have spotted the following:

Subjective Feedback

The projectiles for the Steampunk Rifle (I forget the name) don't 'come out' from the rifle's nossle, but just below. Not a gamebreaking issue, but it looks a bit odd.

(Tried uploading a screenshot, but having a bit of faff with that. Will see if I can do this later)

Okay, how do I log into the training room? My NCSoft launcher has only the regular game and the beta server.

These images were shot on a Male model, standard Athletic proportions:

http://infamousbrad.com/jacket-test-1.jpg
http://infamousbrad.com/jacket-test-2.jpg

Bug #1: The texture of the shirt sleeves doesn't even come close to matching any available texture for jackets OR the shirt that's showing underneath either of the vests.

Bug #2: There is a huge perceptible gap between the sleeves and the body, with all of the jackets and all of the vests.

Also, some subjective feedback: on a lot of these pieces, the layout of color 1 versus color 2 seems odd or unintuitive, like requiring the shirt color to match the jacket (instead of the vest matching the jacket).

And the Steampunk Victorian boots, well, I couldn't find a color combination that didn't look, well, just plain WRONG unless I made the two colors the same, because of the weird color-blending that's going on there.

I'm really disappointed that the male/huge pants are only offered under Tucked In. They really should be offered as Tight and as uppers on Monstrous Legs.

I'd also like to echo the opinions of those who said that the various bow ties and cravats that are part of the various jackets and vests need to be removed, and moved to Chest Detail with the rest of the ties.

And, as I was afraid would happen, all of these jackets need to be ported to also be offered in Sleeveless Jacket form. It's kind of mildly disappointing that you didn't think to test the Steampunk Pack costume bits with any of the existing Steampunk armor, such as the existing Steampunk gloves that currently can't be used with them.

Okay, I tried out the jump pack. Mechanically, it's identical to the GvE pack (30 ft/sec climb rate for 30 sec) except that it has a 30 second cooldown rather than 150 seconds. You CAN chain the two if you absolutely must get that one exploration badge in Nova Praetoria prior to L6, and you can use the jump pack simultaneously with Ninja Run (the steam pack animation overrides the Ninja Run animation during the jump). In a pinch, you can get a minute and a half of enhanced Ninja Run/Beast Run by going Steam Pack/Jump Pack/Steam Pack.

Ok feedback...
We never had curly hair for female, but now we only have it with hat.
Would be awesome to take the curly strips of the Steampunk female hat, and attacht them to the Victorian steampunk female hair.
So we can have a nice Victorian bun with curly hair.

I was going to post exactly those same bugs, plus one: the new faces have a bit of reflectiveness (at least in the costume creator). They look like they make of plastic (or something else), but not skin.
Edit: OK, foget about that, it's some weird effect of the costume creator (praetorian side) making things reflective.
Edit 2: The assault rifle attack FX are misplaced, they draw too low.

Subjective feedback:

1) Can we PLEASE get a seperate version of the new assault rifle and new pistols that is completely colourable, the fact that only either the stock changes on the assault rifle version and the little decoration that's almost impossible to notice ingame on the pistols doesn't really give many options.

Hence why I'm suggesting that you do two version, like there is a Legacy and colourable version of various weapons. Make a non-colourable legacy version and a completely colourable version which takes both primary and secondary colours like all other colourable versions of weapons do.

Tying in with this is don't force colours on players, the wings for example have an uncolourable brass backplate that looks REALLY out of place if you're not using a brass colour scheme. Every single other thing that isn't part of this pack or a legacy wepaon item can be truly tailored to the players whims completely, why change that for these ones?

2) Yes Jackets for females please, clock belt for males. Why on earth do you continue to do this is baffling (less workload is the obvious answer I guess).

3) The new faces really hit the uncanny valley hard, don't ask me why but damn does something look slightly 'off' about them, the normal faces for some reason don't bother me in that regard but I think its because the new ones are just good enough that they tip the arrgh! response from me. The bug mentioned above that they seem to have odd reflective qualities in the creator might be it.

Is this feedback going to be listened to (the subjective stuff, not the bug stuff, that REALLY needs to be listened too) probably not, prove me wrong peoples.

Nice job and thanks!

Dear Devs,

Please add these to the options for Male and Huge models:

Not doing so makes noooooo sense and really is a bit frustrating (And same goes for the coat that Male and Huge did receive).
Seriously though... these three things were things I saw in the trailer that I just cannot believe are female only.

Oh good, I wasn't the first to spot that

Also, Zwill, the new faces look waxy, shiny and very very disturbing.
Wanna know why?
I think they are using reflections. I was twisting and turning them in the CC, and there was some sort of ripple effect that looked very like the reflection you get in metal. Might want to let the art team know before this goes life. It's very uncanny valley right now

Just have to add that the new looks are excellent. While I dont have a ton of uses for this pack it is definitely getting a "buy" from me.

And no one else has said it yet but the new aura "trail. . ." Well, let's just say some of my beastly brutes will now be bleeding from the wounds they are ignoring!

Feedback.

The Trail only Aura, for the Clunker Aura, has a couple of points of origin that well, I'm not sure how to say this. The "oil" drips directly from groin area.

This is for Female and Male Models. DID NOT TEST huge.

I noticed that this does not happen if your have the Gears and springs enabled.

Not sure if this was intended but if it were me I would remove that point of origin.

With the male hats, I would seriously consider asking the art team to colour lock, say, the goggles and the other one on the bowler-style hat, and let us colour the hair instead. Colour locked hair is a BAD idea. Seriously

Please make the new lacy choker available on more than standard face option. I typically use Masks w/Hair for most of my faces due to the versatility.

When I tried it earlier, I was able to use the lacy choker with masks w/hair and full masks.

Bug: New jump power is not mutually exclusive with the Good vs. Evil jump jet power. Even though they function the same.

In other cases when 2 powers work the same they can't be used at the same time (Beast run/Ninja run.)

I love the parts, and totally want this booster, but...

You really need to improve the parity of parts available. Too much is limited to one gender. For example: The belt with the clock on it is female only.

The lightbulb graphic doesn't seem to line up vertically with females. I rotated the camera so I was looking face on at my female Scrapper, and the light bulb appeared to the left (over her right shoulder).

Yes, please! I LOVE how those curls look, but I don't want to have to wear a hat to use them.

I'm also going to add my voice to those asking that the Jacket options be made available with Sleevless Jackets, too.

No, that's not a bug, it's a feature because you don't lose any jump time. When you turn one on while the other is already on, it simple adds thirty seconds to the duration of the first one. See here.

Sigh...... they release a steampunk booster pack and we still don't have steampunk boots that match the original steampunk options that have been in the game for 7 years.....
