Discussion: City of Heroes Issue 20: Incarnates is now live!

The Well of the Furies, the source of great cosmic power that gave heroes and villains alike a taste of Incarnate power in Issue 19, has chosen the Emperor of Praetoria, Marcus Cole, as its champion, granting him limitless energy and enough power to conquer the entire multiverse! Emperor Cole has begun sharing this power among his lieutenants, and it's up to you to band together and stop them. Issue 20 is indeed live!

• Players can band together to weaken the forces of Emperor Cole, seeking to expand their Incarnate powers and challenge his power. Issue 20 introduces the first two Incarnate Trials, the Behavioral Adjustment Facility and Lambda Sector. Completing these trials will slow Emperor Cole's plans, and grant you rewards that help further your progression through the Incarnate system.
• Issue 20 introduces four new Incarnate trees: Judgment, Lore, Destiny, and Interface. Players can now strive to attain even higher levels of power and join the ranks of some of the most famous (and infamous) names in the City!
• While their higher level counterparts are expanding their power in the all new Incarnate Trials, Heroes will band together to save Primal Earth from imminent danger in the all new level 20-40 Task Force, "The Sky is Falling". Villains between levels 20-40 have discovered a way to tap into the power of the Well of the Furies in the new Strike Force, "The Fire and the Flames"!
• Leagues (groups of up to 48 players) for the new Trials can either be preformed or players can find a League using the Team Up Teleporter feature.
• The Team Up Teleporter is a queuing system that allows players to sign up for an Incarnate Trial. When enough players have joined the queue, the teleporter will teleport the players to the Trial instance and group them into a league.
• All players will receive a free respec to help build your character as they gain more Incarnate powers in this Issue.

Loving the new loading screens though, from the competition I assume?

Also, are the in game billbaords updated as well? They seem.....the same, but different, if that makes sense?

I have a problem and want to know if I'm the only one. I can't get into the every solo mission since I20. When I try to enter it a popup's shown up which says: "You cannot enter."

Anyone else with this problem?

Whelp. Wouldn't be a City of Heroes Issue launch without the Globals going down.

Well congratulations, CoH is now unplayable for me.

I've been running on minimal since day 1 of coming back after being absent since... oh I don't know, Issue 6, and since i20 went live, not even minimal is enough to give me more than around 5 fps.

Looks like I might as well just deactivate my account until I get a new box.

Wow. I hope everyone loves Praetoria because you get SWAMPED with 'em in here! The same enemy over and over with a Praetoria is invading theme....I knew it was coming but to experience it....wow. Too much.

Also...seriously? No new costume pieces?

Forcing the chat box to be wider to accommodate the new buttons for leagues and queues has caused it to take up a little less than half my screen, which is bothering, annoying, and makes it harder to see my character. Any chance we could get some way to make the boxes their original size again?

And when people choose the classic look for the team window, why do we still get some new, updated graphics for the team roster? That's not classic, that's updated, and it kind of looks terrible.

Hiya. I too, do not like that I cannot shorten the length of the chat box. I had a 4x3 power tray in between my chat box and my origninal powers trays. The new chat box overlaps my 4x3, making that tray inaccessible. This mistake or oversite needs to be fixed immediately, if not sooner. Please. Thank you.
Other than that, i20 is wonderful. Even without more costume choices or additions to any other features, corrections for old costume pieces like the Crab Spider Helmets or secondary colors for many sets, old and new, completions of old costume sets, power proliferation, bug fixes for bugs that have been in the game since launch, newer bugs that have never been discussed like the Practiced Brawler not firing while targetted on anything other than an enemy bug, or needed QoL fixes like a Locking feature for Powers Trays for not only position but for the tray switching arrows, this Issue just rocks.
As an aside, is it just the night clean up crew now?

from the launch video for iss 20...whats the gizmo that the one person is using that looks like something that was taken off one of the titan robots??
