And this my friends is what is wrong with blueside in general, repetitive missions, zone hopping on every tf, huge distances between modes of transportation, etc... I'm sure that it's somewhat better since the devs updated the ferry/rail system but it'll always suck as far as I'm concerned. Come over to the dark side (waves hand hypnotically).

My "maturity" in this matter comes from the fact that I don't let trivial differences like this bother me like they might have used to when I was younger.

I don't really mind that we have fewer SFs red-side than we have TFs blue-side, mostly because I actually vastly prefer all the Strike Forces we have to the majority of Task Forces.
I am not Sister Psyche's biggest fan, but I'll be looking forward to some fun with Silver Mantis!
I also might not do the WTF this week, though that's due to the fact that my gaming computer's Hard Drive died. /minirant

Being able to play both sides is irrelevant when not everyone has your same playstyle, and assuming such is myopic.

Talk about being myopic. Get over this useless angst you have over "equal numbers". Anyone who's given it an ounce of thought realizes that most of the redside-only SFs are generally more fun and better designed than the older blueside ones. The fact that the redside has FEWER of them is more than counterbalanced by the fact that they are much BETTER than the older blue ones.
Lastly I tend to *shrug* a lot because most of the time I'm responding to people who ought to know better but for some reason don't. It's usually my way of saying "isn't it obvious you're overreacting to X". *shrugs*

The GM ambush is entirely optional though. The missions themselves are not.

When I heard how long it takes I decided to bow out right then. I'll probably try to do it at least once this week however.
I do hope that these weekly assignments will help put a spotlight on the troubled TFs out there and those can get revamped/fixed ala Positron. So in the short and medium term, it'll be painful but hopefully in the long run it'll result in all of these TFs getting some much needed love.

The development staff and this game pride themselves as one of the few communities where the playerbase's ideas and suggestions are actually listened to and sometimes implemented. There is even a FORUM FOR SUGGESTIONS.
Stating something as been someway for some time period, no longer is a legitimate stance for an argument in this game. So many things have changed after YEARS of being a certain way.
Requesting more SFs for CoV is no different.

I would much rather have more co-op or blue side Task Forces than redside.
I figure the value of the lower level TF's (Posi, Synapse) are really good to gain levels pretty quickly.
Running them as a level 50 trying to get my Notice of the Well (and huge merits to get Luck of the Gambler recipes) is a bit tedious. But they are fairly straight forward and can be run with almost any combo of ATs, unlike LGTF, for instance, where you know you will be taking on Hami and need the required power sets to handle the challenge.

I don't think that every TF will eventually be a WST. I think it will, in fact, be only be parallel redside/bluside TFs. Basically, just the TFs which share a level range with SFs (or co-op options). That way there is not (even more) complaining redside about their SF deficiencies.

If I'm NOT in the mood for a TF, I'm not going to run one, and I don't care WHAT carrot is dangled in front of me.
Notice or not, if I don't feel like running a TF, I'm not going to. I didn't run a single LGTF last week, because I didn't feel like it, and I'm not especially fond of that one. I'll probably run Apex next week, just because I haven't run it yet.
See, it's gems like these that make me check Claws' post history every once in a while to make sure I haven't missed anything good lately.
